Quality meets efficient with some fun

  • March 25, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Riverside.fm is great. It streams lines the recording process along with setting you up for quality and efficient edits. I was really surprised and then amazed at all the additional features Riverside.fm offers to help make my podcast a great product. The summary notes and magic clips are features I did not expect to appreciate and now rely on. Plus the quality of the recordings can't be beat.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you send the studio link to a guest via a text the guest has to download the Riverside.fm app. There were a couple times where I had trouble connecting and starting on time with a guest because of that. Other than that no other issues. It's a great service if not the best for video podcast recording and production.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Offering the means to video connect with guests, record and then edit the video and audio for podcast production.

Super Easy to Use

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create and export shorts and full length clips has been awesome. The magic wand tool seems to work most of the time on its own and the ability to create the clips, download them and put branding & update the words on the screen has been super user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've not seen a way to make it so that the audio tracks can be edited seperately. In the editor, both audio clips are shown as one file, even though I am able to download the raw audio files to upload into audacity. This seems like a super easy thing to do, but havent seen enough support surrounding the new editor tool to understand a way to do this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One stop shop for creating, editing and producing a podcast to share via Podcasts for Spotify.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use and that I can create different studios for different genres of content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I dislike. Would be nice if it could livestream to LinkedIn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need a place to record and digitally store content. Riverside is great. I use it for my 9-5 in terms of content as well as for my real estate investing group to record conversations.

Riverside made it easy to get started for a newbie!

  • March 20, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
SO simple to get going, with a lot of tech to "forgive" mistakes like sound and video quality.

Very easy to implement and get started!
What do you dislike about the product?
Recording is great, but I feel like the publishing aspect could be much much better
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There's no way I would have even started my podcast if it wasn't for how easy Riverside made it. The idea of recording Zoom, editing that (without AI) and putting in a lot of work was a barrier I couldn't get over until I found Riverside

Everything I need all in one place with simple AI enabled features

  • March 20, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple it is to use and how I don't have to put up with the audio and video glitches caused by Internet lag.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike about Riverside they have taken all the features from another platform. I had to use in the past called script and have kind of folded those features into Riverside so now I don't need a second subscription. I just can do it all in Riverside.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly, I like it because it solves the problems of audio and video glitches due to legs in the Internet, but the simple editing and exporting is very welcome.

The function to be able to continue with recordings despite technical problems and without losing the timestamp.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost of the monthly fee at the exchange rate for the few hours granted by the most basic subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease of recording episodes remotely with the highest quality and without complications

Smooth experience

  • March 16, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Guests can join easily with a link. The experience is smooth. I'm using the AI features to create social media snippets, generate the description with chapters and the transcription.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI for scheduling can take a bit of getting used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed something better than Zoom and is built for hosting podcasts. I also use Transistor and wanted something that would integrate with it.

Easy to Use for Beginners and Intuitive Enough for Pros

  • March 15, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it is super simple to use. Setting up a stream is laid out perfectly, the customer support is quick to respond, and I love the AI features like magic clips and writing show notes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to edit the video elements that have been uploaded. That would be my top feature I would add if I could.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I produce for multiple podcast clients and I love how quickly I can create Reels and show notes for them using the platform.
