Riverside Is the Best for Remote Video
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a filmmaker and it's amazing for Remote Video. Much better than any other software or site I'm aware of. I also love the AI editing features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Riverside would save the recordings easier cause sometimes I forget to have people stay on before ending the recording.

Havent found many downsides. Think the only downside is I havent been able to use all the available features yet!

Making it easier to start and edit your podcasts for begginers and having a great user friendly experience.
Very Effective and All Encompassing
What do you like best about the product?
Lots of great features including reel content, description, script, chapters, key words, etc. I often reinput the description into Chat GPT but a great start for sure. Easy to use and implement for sure. Easy to download the videos or upload other videos to edit as well. I like the ability to splice videos together too as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The smart clips (60 second clips) they create can be improved on. Often times they end or start mid-sentence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having one place to edit all of the podcast content I have and making the reel content easy to build out from the episodes.
Completely changed the way we do podcasts!
What do you like best about the product?
It is so simple to use and get the absolute best outcome for your podcast. Before using other audio based apps (*cough Adobe Audition cough*) I had zero confidence when I hit the record button that the audio was going to turn out correct. The versatility that riverside has offered has completely changed the way we record and promote our company podcast. We love the support team and demo videos, they are so clear and give you exactly what you need. Thanks Riverside for just being an all-round solution to our podcast recording :D
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to use a remote camera (phone) without using the Imac and Iphone. We are seasoned Iphone users, but use windows for our recording computer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The video feature is brilliant and being able to record audio separately even when we have an external guests has been a game changer!

The ideal solution for remote recording
What do you like best about the product?
This platform is perfect for podcasts, training videos, or any recording/capture situation where you can't be there in person. It is simple for all participants, including the producers, and I don't think there is another platform that gives this high quality of a recording. Best of all, all streams are recorded separately, giving you isolated control over every track.
What do you dislike about the product?
Riverside.fm occasionally sacrifices real-time communication in order to provide the highest quality recording. This means that sometimes, real-time video/audio may freeze, but the final recording looks and sounds great. This can be problematic if you are recording a podcast or interview with a lot of back and forth between the participants. In those cases, I'd recommend recording at 720p as opposed to using the advanced recording.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside gives the highest quality remote recording I have seen in a package that is simple for anyone to use.

What do you like best about the product?
As a Podcast host who got started during covid, Riverside has been my key to creating professional looking and sounding podcasts without needing my guests to have high end equipment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the important aspects that I feel should be free are locked behind the pay wall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many of my guests do not have high end audio equipment. Riverside's internal software solutions to better the audio quality save me hours of time.
What a great tool for pod/vodcasting
What do you like best about the product?
The GUI is so self intuitive and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool might be overwhelming for someone new to pod/vodcasting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using this as a branding tool and to get our message out through pod/vodcasting.
Could become the perfect remote workflow tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the intuitive way to have a virtual studio, with transcriptions and auto select clips. Love how easy it is to collaborate with a team, I use it for my podcast.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it has alot of technical faults, the echo problem, that it’s hard to set audio levels, some people can’t see me, that when you download the footage from another device it creates a new clip name, so it’s hard to share and reconnect with teams

A place where I can record remotely at the highest quality possible, it uploads video and audio separately, and it has AI tools

Riverside's ease of use, combined with providing a full suite of tools and options, has resulted in cost savings and a better recording experience.
