The Best Recording Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Recording live, with guests, or by yourself is an incredible experience. I love the customizable options while recording, the editing software is really good, and the new AI tools that Riverside has incorporated for edits, clips, and transcripts is really cool. I highly recommend anyone using Riverside!
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly nothing bad to say. I really enjoy the services they provide!

Streaming, recording, editing, transcripts and clips.

How easy it is to create content from home and edit the videos like a professional.

I like how clear my videos come out, even when my internet signal is weak.

There are sometimes some issues with audio sync, but the eam is very helpful.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that this platform is catered for podcasters, and I love the editing software. It has taken a lot of stress away--being able to have all of the tools and ability to film edit in one place. I'm so grateful for the option to film using my iphone, because I was unsuccessful in getting my webcam to work (and the webcam made my computer overheat too, whereas using the phone does not). Customer service has always been fast and friendly. I love all of the YouTube tutorials; they are very well-done and made learning Riverside easy and seamless and gave me ideas of how to best move forward with my podcast. In my first recording session, I was able to record seven podcast episodes and the introduction. I was shocked at how much I got done, and I don't think I would have been able to do this if I had to figured out how to record and edit using other complicated equipment. Thank you for creating this software, and thank you so much for making it affordable!!
What do you dislike about the product?
This isn't Riverside's fault, but sometimes my computer struggles to handle the software (gets hot). I also have found the magic audio to be too distorting on my voice which is a bummer; I'd love to use it. The feature that removes silences can be a little glitchy, removing things I dont' want it to remove (when my voice trails off, for example....) so I often have to go in and do fine editing to fix those spots.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I answered this pretty well in my previous comments. I love how everything I need is on one platform. It makes this process (which is very new to me) so much less stressful, and I'm actually having fun working on it!

There is good support team when you need help. It is easy to record. The editing tool is easy to use.

Gamechanger for education video recording
What do you like best about the product?
We love the simplicity and quality of Riverside. Easy to edit on the go, cutting our production time down significantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to complain about. We are on the Pro plan (highest plan) and it does not allow us to share a presentation. This is only for enterprise and that is a weakness

I just recorded my first interview podcast and riverside made it super easy for me and my guest!
My guest's internet connection was weak but I love how the final video output has come out to be perfect and high quality. My guest just had to click on one link that was sent by riverside, which made it convenient for them.
Can't wait to keep using riverside!

I'd like the invite email sent to guests to have more details on how they can join the podcast.

It's making it easy for me to interview guests who are not in the same location as I am.
Really impressive and versatile remote recording tool
What do you like best about the product?
This has made remote recording of podcasts so much easier - the quality of recordings is great - it does a good job of providing clear information to my guests and to me about how uploads are going and offers different file qualities (MP3 and Wav) which is helpful when some people have slower internet connections and i need the audio in a hurry.
The customer support is very responsive - and it seems to continue to adapt and update features. Having used a number of similar services this one stands out for me and would recommend it to cllients i work with.

What do you dislike about the product?
It can be hard for people who have slightly locked down corporate computers and sorting out permissions can sometimes be difficult. the mobile app is good - but adds a layer of complexity to get people to download an app first rather than following a link
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a presenter and guests in different parts of the world - this allows me to get quality recordings without needing people to have recording/broadcasting skills and their own studio set up to record locally. It improves the quality of my audio which ultimately improves the product i put out.
Even the FREE version is very capable
