Easy to Use, Super Intuitive and High Quality!
What do you like best about the product?
As a podcasting platform - it's great. Simple to host, guests can access it without the need to download any software and It's really easy to navigate.
The editing options are a MASSIVE time-saver. As someone who edits videos often (I run a video marketing company), I'm not quick to 'let go' of those responsibilities - but their edits are to a standard I'm happy to use and share!

What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is sometimes my devices aren't recognized (my camera). It's not too often, but it has happened.

A hosting platform for regular (Podcast) content creation.

Helpful to have all I need in one platform for streaming and podcasts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI doesn't make it obvious to users that recordings for video are being stored, and makes it easy to record audio only podcasts of videos.

Separate tracks help editing.

screenshare didn't grab the audio and I didn't know it until after even as it was playing in my headsets.

The platform automatically applies certain settings without asking for user preferences upfront, which can be frustrating if you prefer more control over your podcast. However, Riverside’s customer support team acted extremely proactive and resolved the issue quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the platform’s automatic transcription feature saves hours in post-production by quickly generating accurate text files, making it easier to create show notes, captions, or repurpose content.

What do you like best about the product?
Recording quality is very good, downloding tracks is straight forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
AI bot support chat that they pretend are real people, constant problems with the final version of recordings, from my guests camera freezing, to distorted audio, glitchy camera movements, etc. They keep releasing a bunch of useless features but can't seem to have the core product work properly. It wasn't always like this, I started to notice it in the last few months but it's gotten bad enough that I've decided to switch platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was helping me record my podcast in high quality but it no longer fits that requirement.
WOW! Riverside makes producing a podcast SOOOOO EASY!!!!
What do you like best about the product?
In the past I've used other software to record and produce my podcast and it's been a LOT of manual work for me. However, Riverside's integrated AI features take so much work off my shoulders. I love how easy it is to edit and remove unwanted sections and awkward pauses with the click of a button. I also love how it can create short videos for me to share on social easily, along with prepping my show notes. I'd estimate that Riverside saves me at least 2-3 hours of editing per episode. I'm so grateful. It's like having a personal assistant helping me out. It's amazing!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could completely replace Zoom with Riverside, but it doesn't work well for me to have large group calls (like my live online painting classes where I have lots of participants and want to be able to see and hear from them).

Making my podcast so much more manageable and time efficient to produce.

What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is very user-friendly and guess does not need to be tech-savvy to join the podcast.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there is issue with sound but out of more than 20 recording I probably had issue 1 or 2 times.

We have been producing pdocast since 2022 and until we started to use riverside in 2023 we also had to limit ourselves with the guess from Oslo only. Now, we can invite guess from anywhere in the world to our podcast

What do you like best about the product?
Just love the platform- easy to use, good quality and amazing AI features. Plus the customer support is superbly prompt and helpful. Thanks to Martin had a recording issue sorted in just a few hours. Going to start using this platform for all my new show.

A bit pricey for content creators that are just beginers but atleast I have the free option that is reasonable in its quality. Happy with it overall

Riverside.fm is fantastic!
What do you like best about the product?
Having no previous experience in the podcasting world, I knew a statewide organization was using Riverside for theirs as I had been a guest a few times and the quality of the recordings was always top notch with no special equipment needed. Now I've launched my own podcast and absolutely love all of the helpful editing features that are easy to use for a newbie like me!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I have is that while editing my laptop doesn't quite have enough power to not have to refresh the page several times so it takes a while to get through an episode.

It's making it easy for people to make content without access to a formal studio or fancy equipment.
Riverside really helped me start my YouTube channel, and keep it rolling
What do you like best about the product?
First feature that made me fall for Riverside was the AI Transcript. You get speech to text in a couple of seconds. But the best part is you can edit the video itself by editing the text!
Plus, the AI creates chapters applicable to YouTube, removes all pauses and filler words - all with a couple button clicks!

Now it looks problematic to edit videos without Riverside! If I record in a studio to their equipment, I'd upload it to Riverside - but it's gonna take loads of time, I guess..

Faster editing, and creating transcripts of my recordings.
