Consistently Reliable and Always Improving
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Riverside for a few years now, and it consistently provides a reliable recording experience. I started with a need to record video sessions for a virtual summit, and have since expanded to include an audio podcast. Recording is easy, I love the controls and editing capabilities.
Support is responsive, and the platform is constantly adding new features to make things better and easier to use. Highly recommend!

What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had any issues worth talking about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's an all-in-one recording studio for my Virtual Summits and Podcast.

What do you like best about the product?
That I can record and edit my podcast on one place and make my shorts for my smaller platforms without using a different software. It gives a professional sound and professional feeling even when I'm not quite a professional yet.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I was able to schedule more of my podcast in advance instead of just two at a time as I book multiple people a week for podcast and I have to wait until I record a podcast before I can send another link. Having unlimited invitation to preplanned sessions would be amazing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have noticed they have definitely started handling some of the glitches. The only problem I'd really like to see them solve is to be able to schedule more sessions in advance. Especially for those offs that are paid members and to be able to schedule more than one section within a project.
The Best Platform for High-Quality Interviews
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside.fm has been a game-changer for our podcast and customer testimonial interviews. The quality is exceptional, especially considering the price point. We've experimented with other platforms, but Riverside.fm consistently delivers superior audio and video that elevates our content.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to offer virtual backgrounds to guests, but it isn't available in our current plan, and upgrading to include this feature is not worth the price increase. Otherwise, I have no complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ever had a great interview ruined by choppy audio or frozen video? Riverside.fm's local recording feature sidesteps this by capturing high-quality files directly on each participant's device, regardless of internet hiccups. This means smoother edits, less frustration, and a more professional final product for our entire team.
Podcast Producer uses Riverside for Podcast Production
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside is an intuitive platform that effectively streamlines my podcast production process. As a podcast producer, I am now able to allocate more time to consulting with clients individually to enhance their shows rather than dedicating weekly time to editing the podcast. The AI-driven features facilitate enhanced client communication and collaboration. My preferred feature is the automatic switching between guest and host speakers, which significantly reduces my workload and eliminates the need for manual intervention. Previously utilizing Riverside, this task alone would have consumed approximately three hours of my time. However, it now assists me in generating more income more rapidly, which consequently leads to an increase in the number of clients I acquire.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are few aspects of the service that I find objectionable. However, I have encountered some difficulties with the editing software. In response, I contacted customer support, and they promptly created a private Slack channel for me to address the issue as it arose. I am very grateful for their prompt attention to this matter. The Riverside support team has been exceptionally helpful throughout this entire process, facilitating the transition from StreamYard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most significant advantage Riverside has provided me is the substantial time savings it has enabled. Since transitioning to Riverside, I have been able to significantly reduce the editing process, thereby streamlining my workflow and allowing me to complete more editing within the same timeframe. The AI features offered by Riverside are particularly noteworthy, as they enhance the overall quality of podcast production. Given my meticulous nature when selecting services, Riverside’s exceptional editing tools have made it my preferred choice. While I occasionally perform the editing myself due to the limitations of other services’ editing suites, Riverside’s editing capabilities are even impressive for professional editors.
So Easy to Use!
What do you like best about the product?
I am not a tech savvy person, but, Riverside makes recording and editing so easy that even I can do it! Making clips for social media and all editing is a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything right off that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have a team to help me with the podcast I do for work so it is great to find a format where I don't need a team. It really is very intuitive.

One Stop Shop. Everything is completed.
Great tool that started my dream of podcasting in no time

The sound, the fact that even if my internet is not stable, the recording continues locally and does not impact the jittering.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I have not discovered anything unusual, but when I make edits, I am not quite sure if the original file will disappear, hopefully it never does, this was not clear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is benefitting me to realise my dream of being a poscaster...It also saved a lot of money for me not not using a sound engineer.
The most important tool I use that helped me launch multiple podcasts and interview series
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside helped me launch multiple projects as the most crucial tool I have at my disposal. From the Session Stories interview series on the YouTube channel SessionSolo to the Good Contractor Podcast that I co-host with the CEO of CompanyCam, it's one of the most dependable pieces of software I use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any significant dislikes at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem Riverside solves for me is having a reliable platform that I know I can get top quality video and audio from guests that I need to interview for the purposes of a podcast or YouTube video interview series.
Easiest way to create a podcast
What do you like best about the product?
Seperated files (audio and video files) and also an "all participant" option. The support is FAST and extremely helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only isues that I have had was a download/processing videos...but as soon as I talked to support, the issue was resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of having all of my participants video and audion in ONE PLACE so that I have to depend on noeone excpet Riverside and myself. It has made podcasting a millions times easier and my recording process smoother.
Riverside Has Helped Me in Many Ways
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside has helped me in so many ways - from consolidating a variety of apps that I used to use to edit and produce my podcast... it's all done in Riverside now.
And, Riverside has helped me improve the quality of the recordings and my ability to create social content.
Last... they are constantly updating the platform with new features which are always very useful.

A couple of times my work didn't automatically save. I'm not sure if it was an issue on my end with my internet connection.

It is helping me save time and improve the production of my podcast.
