What do you like best about the product?
Riverside.fm is hands down the best podcasting platform we’ve used—and we’ve tried plenty. The AI tools, including automated transcripts, speaker detection, and Magic Clips, are game-changers. It’s fast, intuitive, and levels up our workflow for Rules4Success.com. The ease of use makes it perfect for both solo creators and pro teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only area I'd love to see improvement is in the variety of export perspectives. Being able to switch between different camera angles or layout options post-recording would give even more flexibility for content repurposing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside.fm eliminates the need for a high-cost studio by letting us produce studio-quality podcasts from anywhere. It streamlines the entire process—from recording to editing to sharing—saving us time, money, and stress. It’s like having a virtual production team in your pocket.

Riverside makes podcasting simpler than ever. As someone that has been podcasting since 2016, it has never been this easy to express your passion, and have such great automations at your fingertips.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this time? Nothing. They continue to make improvements faster than I can request change.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Video hosting, content creation, and editing shorts.
THE BEST APP TO USE FOR CREATORS OF ANY PODCAST IN THE WORLD
What do you like best about the product?
it's easy to use, so many tools at my disposal. Their AI tools are fantastic. Their Magic clip generator has taken me from ZERO to 16500 in under 30 days. I am blown away by the share options. in just a few clicks, I am everywhere. thank to transistor.radio button they have on the page when you are ready to share.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing and one thing only. I don't pay a lot of money for this site. I would pay 4 times as much if my shows can be dubbed in different languages
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
i was with podcasttle, they have an app, and it's nice, but no one cares more about what you can make with Riverside.fm I recommended them to everyone
Took a know-nothing and turned it into a thing of beauty!
What do you like best about the product?
There are so many options. And that doesn't mean that it is complicated! I have the choice of recording audio and video or just one or the other. I can download separate tracks for the people on the podcast and/or one audio file that has all tracks. I can edit there. I can read the transcript to be reminded of which episode is which. I can add fun noises in the "studio" such as laughter or applause or cheers. The list goes on and on and I know I haven't even scratched the surface of all that is possible with Riverside. I have never NOT used Riverside for our podcast over the past 3 years. We started in August of 2022.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to change my account name and I am not sure how to go about doing that, but it isn't like I have looked around, either.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Early on in our podcast history, we could tell that our microphone situation was problematic, but we didn't know how to fix it. The fact that we could download and edit separate tracks for the two of us solved this problem. This is a HUGE benefit.
Great product for podcasters
What do you like best about the product?
I’m a new podcaster and Riverside is a very easy platform to use for both audio and video podcasts. It has a lot of features and editing is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took me some trial and error to learn how to edit but I guess that’s normal.

Helping me show my brand.
A Wonderful Way to Podcast, Collaborate & Edit
What do you like best about the product?
You get good sound quality for solo projects and excellent sound files for participants who are recording from their phones and laptops, but they can also access your account.
What do you dislike about the product?
Make sure you're noting if you want your file to be a sound-only or sound and video. Luckily, when I made that mistake, it was on a short take for the podcast. .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can record multiple people at a time or have them in different locations or states and still have them sound like they're in the same room.
Highly Recommend For New & Established Podcasters
What do you like best about the product?
What is most helpful is the fact that they make the process of recording episodes super easy. I love how they have options to walk you through everything for those that are new to riverside and just using it for the first time. I also appreciate the fact that they offer quite alot of features for those who are on the free plan.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would say is no helpful is the pricing for me. So I would love to one day switch to a paid plan to get access to more features but as a start up podcaster I have no funds coming in to be able to cover those fees monthly. So unfortunately that means I won’t be able to have access to other features that will help to improve and enhance my audio and video.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s definitely helping me with having a platform and space to freely record both audio and video and there able to help you share your finished upload of your episodes to other platforms like YouTube and many more.

What do you like best about the product?
I say that Riverside is the Easy Button for new podcasters. I've only been recording for a couple months and to me, it has been super easy, works well. Overall, I really like the platform. It's inexpensive, and drops my episodes straight into my podcast host. I am glad I was able to find it!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have anything I dislike. It works well. Maybe the only thing is that it takes a little while for shows to export, but really it's been a great software choice for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are wanting to raise awareness of the needs of children in foster care. We are also trying to connect foster parents to available resources, and through our new podcast we are achieving this goal.
