What do you like best about the product?
Riverside.fm is the Swiss knife of audio editing. It has anything and everything you could need to chop, cut, copy, stutter or effect audio quickly and easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I would like Audacity to do that it doesn't right now. It's not meant to mix, multitrack or anything like that (DAWs exists for a reason) it's just good at what it does.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside.fm is one of the most career-spanning software available. It's used by many professional studios, why wouldn't they? It does exactly what it advertises at a more than fair price. Ether I scratch some ideas in Riverside.fm Live or multitrack in Reaper, I always keep Riverside.fm nearby and opened ready to make quick edits and export them back into DAW.

Audacity, for audio editing

  • May 26, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use, has an intuitive window, which allows you to quickly understand the different tools it has and allows you to work with different types of audios, that is, with different types of audio files.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is very easy to understand, but it is a little uncomfortable to look at, on the other hand the software does what it sets out to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to edit audios of videos recorded for my students' classes, it is really very useful also when some assignment is sent and it is in a different kind of audio file, allowing to change it to a more conventional one.

A Game-Changer for Remote Podcasting

  • May 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about Riverside.fm is its ability to record locally on each participant’s device, which means I get studio-quality audio and video even when internet connections are unstable. The video can go up to 4K, and the uncompressed audio makes post-production a breeze. I also really appreciate the AI-powered Magic Editor – being able to edit based on the transcript saves me so much time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest drawback for me is the learning curve when you're just getting started. While the platform is powerful, the interface can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially with all the tools and features packed in. A more guided onboarding would help new users get up to speed faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside.fm solves the problem of unreliable audio and video quality during remote recordings. Before using it, I often dealt with lag, dropped calls, or poor-quality files that were hard to fix in post-production. By recording locally on each participant’s device, Riverside eliminates those issues entirely. It's also solving the problem of time-consuming edits—the text-based Magic Editor and automatic transcription features have significantly sped up my workflow. As a result, I can focus more on creating content and less on fixing technical problems, which has made my production process faster, easier, and more professional overall.

Smooth, Reliable, and Easy, Exactly What I Needed

  • May 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I started using Riverside.fm when I got tired of dealing with glitchy Zoom recordings and inconsistent audio from remote guests. Since switching, it’s been a total game-changer. Even when my guest has a spotty internet connection, the local recording feature captures everything in crystal-clear quality.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’ve had a few minor issues with guests on mobile, nothing major, but a bit of a hiccup here and there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside.fm is solving one of the biggest headaches in remote content creation: poor audio and video quality. Before using it, I was stuck dealing with choppy Zoom recordings, lag, and guests sounding like they were underwater. It made editing a nightmare and the final product felt unprofessional.

Absolutely the best for beginners!

What do you like best about the product?
The studio is easy to navigate. I am not tech savvy and I was able to record with video, use transcripts, and edit seamlessly. I am grateful for Riverside's software!!! And even the monthly fee is not bad. Hopefully I will continue to learn and be able to become monetized also.
What do you dislike about the product?
Trying to add music before the podcast during edit. I click the plus sign to add music and it adds music to the end of the podcast. I would certainly say it is USER error more than software glich, other than that, things are GREAT!!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not Applicable

What do you like best about the product?
the interface is very user friendly even for newbie and the free version is generous enough to provide the support and the feeling of using it
What do you dislike about the product?
may be can breakdown the subscribtion to cheaper version with some limitation so that to encourage more ppl to use and always having the option to upgrade later
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Interface: the esieast way to record and edit my video and very easy to upload to spotify since it's connected
Service Support: This is very important as the river support team has done remarkable job in fixing the issue i had
