Game changing AI editing software
What do you like best about the product?
The capabilities provided by Riverside have brought so many new opportunities for our podcast to elevate our brand with elegant video content. I'm constantly amazed at how much time Riverside's AI features save our team, across "magic" audio editing, easy video clip generation, and constantly releasing new features that make our team's workflows more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
We do run into the occasional bug, but the Riverside support team is very quick to assist us with finding a solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside is a huge step forward from the software we were using previously to record and edit our podcasts. Other providers were not able to provide the quality of video output we were looking for, and Riverside then added on top of that with countless features that allow us to utilize AI to speed up our time from recording to publishing and promotion. I can't imagine moving off of Riverside at this point.

Reliable, Pro-Quality Remote Recording Tool for Podcasts and Video Interviews
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside has become our go-to platform for recording high-quality podcast interviews and video content. The biggest game-changer is the local recording feature—it captures each speaker’s audio and video locally on their device, which means the final output is crisp and lag-free, even if someone’s internet connection is unstable.
The platform is intuitive and easy to use, both for our team and our guests—many of whom aren’t tech-savvy. We also love that it records in up to 4K, with separate tracks for each speaker, which makes post-production much easier. The automatic transcription and Magic Editor tools are great for turning around short-form content quickly.
I love the MAgic AI clips feature, this features allowed us to maximise the content we're creating.
The ease of editing for someone whose never edited video or audio before is fantastic. I love that I can make my edits from the transcript.

I haven't experienced any downsides, as yet. The tool has met my needs.

Ultimately, Riverside lets us create professional, trustworthy content with minimal tech headaches—which is crucial when our audience depends on clarity, accuracy, and accessibility.
Helped me combine all my tools
What do you like best about the product?
I used to have to record using one platform, edit in another one and create my own social media clips in another application. Riverside.fm has cut out all the noise and the need for multiple platforms. Now everything is truly all in one place for me. The tools were so easy to learn!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I feel that I'm missing is the ability to fade music into the start of my podcast. I normally fade the ending of my intro and extro into the start and end of my podcast and I can no longer do that. I'm hoping that this is a feature that will be eventually added.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I no longer have to use multiple different platforms to edit my work. It's helpful to have everything in one place now.
The Closest You’ll Get to a Studio—From Your Laptop
What do you like best about the product?
The quality. Period. I’m talking studio-level audio and video, even when my guests are across the country on shaky Wi-Fi. Riverside records locally on each end, so everything comes out clean and crisp. I also love how easy it is to use—inviting a guest is as simple as sending a link, and they don’t need to be tech-savvy.
But what really sold me? The Magic Clips and transcripts. I can turn one episode into 5 pieces of content without needing a full editing team. That’s a win for any busy entrepreneur trying to stay consistent without burning out.

What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, not much—but I do think there’s room for improvement with customer support response time. If something technical comes up, it can take a little longer than expected to get help. It hasn’t been a deal-breaker for me, but I’d love to see faster turnaround as the platform continues to grow.
Also, while the features are amazing, some of the best tools are locked behind higher-tier plans. I totally get it—it’s a premium product—but a bit more flexibility in the pricing could make it more accessible for newer creators.
That said, the pros definitely outweigh the cons. The quality and convenience keep me coming back.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside.fm is solving the “low-quality content from remote guests” problem—period. Before this, I was juggling Zoom recordings, bad audio, and patchy video. Now? I get clean, studio-quality files every time, even if my guest is across the country with spotty Wi-Fi.
It’s also saving me serious time. With features like Magic Clips and transcriptions, I can repurpose episodes into reels, carousels, or email content without starting from scratch. That means more content, more visibility, and more consistency—without needing a whole team to pull it off.
For a busy entrepreneur and content creator like me, that’s major. It lets me show up professionally without burning out.

When something is this easy, you know it's been well crafted
What do you like best about the product?
RIverside.fm just works. It's easy and intuitive to use, has a great feature set - integrating AI tools that speed up your workflow, and is really helpful along the way. Feels like a true partner, rather than just a tool to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see more of the features available for lower-priced tiers, having said that, the pricing is very reasonable for what you get.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's become a one-stop-shop for practically the whole podcast recording experience. It's rare that one tool _successfully_ does everything these days!
