What do you like best about the product?
Riverside lets out execs go live with nothing but a browser link. No external software, no complicated setup. It handles speaker video, transitions, and audio perfectly, and even less tech-savvy guests have no issues connecting.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't have native live polling or chat overlay yet, which would help with interactivity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The tool has brought a new level of professionalism to our executive comms our internal and public facing webinars now look and sound like big budget productions.
Screen Recording That Feels like You're There Person
What do you like best about the product?
What I love most is how clearly it captures screen interactions. I do technical walkthroughs, and Riverside makes team feel like live, in-person demos. Even transitions between tabs or apps are captured without lag or blur.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't support real time annotations or arrows, which would be a nice future update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I Use Riverside daily for internal and client facing tutorials. It's saved me from countless miscommunications and speed up ouronboarding process by weeks.
First time podcaster
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside makes it so incredibly easy for a new podcaster to edit, grab social media clips, generate show notes and refine the experience for the guests. It maybe takes me an hour to edit my episodes and when I tell more experienced podcasters, they can’t believe it because their platforms take them longer. I highly recommend Riverside for any podcaster but especially newer hosts like myself.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the social media clips and show notes leave a lot to be desired but thankfully there are enough options it hasn’t been a big barrier
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s automating the process of creating clips and generating show notes so it cuts my podcast editing time in half
Riversidefm is a lifesaver for creators.
What do you like best about the product?
What I love about Riversidefm is that everything is all in one I can film, edit and export.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only gripe the standard plan does not allow me access to the teleprompter and there is no pause button for the Riversidefm Mac App.

Riverside.fm: refreshing like a picnic by the river.
What do you like best about the product?
There are so many things I love about Riverside but here are my top 3:
1. It is so easy to use. The user experience is excellent with clearly marked settings and set-up. It's also beautiful, often ignored in other platforms.
2. Inviting guests to join is a seamless and smooth experience. I rarely have to talk through or troubleshoot audio or video issues with a guest because setup is clear, not like the platform that starts with a z and ends in an m.
3. The customer support team is simply the best.
It's easy to integrate into my tech stack, easy to implement and there are so many cool features that I haven't begun to explore. It is my go-to for all recording and am dropping other subscriptions. Well done Riverside! 👏🏻

What do you dislike about the product?
I use Riverside to record meetings, create content for social media and eventually the podcast. I'plan on using it special events. The one thing I dislike about it is that to use it as much as I want, I would have to pay much more which is unrealistic for a creative project that is not creating revenue. Maybe that will change, but for right now it is a challenge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My writing partner and I write a newsletter that will eventually become a podcast and book. Riverside allows us to use 1 app for recording our talks, using the transcript to write the newsletter, and create content that will be used in the podcast and book. We plan on offering live streams and paid events. We can do all of this in Riverside for one subscription. The benefit? Allowing us to do this work without obstacles while we continue our full-time work.
Great interview & video production tool
What do you like best about the product?
The image and sound quality are amazing. I also like the way Riverside suggests short videos from my content. It saves so much time to produce concise social media content.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that Riverside is Chrome-based is sometimes problematic. Also, the file sizes can be really large when downloading a group conversation for local editing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's an important tool for us since we do so much online interviewing. It makes the process so much easier from start to finish
Video Editing Without the Overwhelm
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside's editing system is surprisingly robust for something browser based. I can highlight sentences and delete them, and it instantly edits the video and audio together. It's clean, quick, and doesn't require downloading large files or using separate apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love more storage space in the free plan
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I produce weekly content and this tool has cut my time in half. The experience feels tailor made for content creators like me.
Any Podcaster's dream
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside.fm is a powerhouse for podcasters who care about quality and editing flexibility. It records each participant locally in high resolution, giving you separate audio and video tracks — ideal for clean editing and social media repurposing. Its Magic Editor and Clips tool make it easy to punch out reels and highlights quickly, though detailed edits still require bringing files into Premiere or Descript. Upload times can lag, and multi-cam setups require workarounds like OBS, but for remote interviews and studio-quality sound, it’s hard to beat. Overall, it’s a smart investment for podcasters who want pro-grade results without overcomplicating the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The best thing about this question is the fact that ever complaint I have ever had, Riverside fixed and implemented for me and the rest of their users. It makes leaving the service harder and harder every week.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They solved clip creating issues, they solved clip cutting to different speakers & the safari support is icing on top.
Flawless Audio for Voice First Creators
What do you like best about the product?
I've tried professional DAWs and USB interfaces, but Riverside gave me almost the same clarity with zero setup headache. Recording audio tracks locally means no delay, echo, or signal loss. The quiet background and clean voice isolation are incredible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Riverside.fm, no real time EQ or reverb effects yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've recorded multiple chapters for audiobook clients using Riverside and they are blown away by the quality especially considering I wasn't in a booth.
Great platform ,easy to use.
What do you like best about the product?
I had never hosted a podcast before, and I would not describe myself as well. Especially tech savvy. With riverside, I am able to easily record episodes and post them to spotify and other platforms. My podcast is now ranked as one of the top ten for business insurance. I believe that is in no small part due to the quality of the recordings and the ease with which i'm able to share content.
What do you dislike about the product?
It just requires a little bit of patience while your episode is loading. Other than that I have no complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside allows me to get timely and relevant content out to my audience on a regular basis.
