Beginner with a Professional Feel
What do you like best about the product?
I am just starting my podcast, The Digital Shift, and when I was first getting things together I was just planning on recording my Zoom sessions and working from there. Then a friend of mine let me know about Riverside. I checked it out and I instantly felt so much more at ease. The capabilities that Riverside has built in will save me hours of editing if I just recorded a Zoom call and the fact that their AI will auto edit, create clips for social, and so much more has been amazing. I was a beginner podcaster who kind of didn't really know what I was doing besides making sure to hit record and buy a mic, to feeling much more professional with the Riverside studio.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features can be a little hard to understand. I think a more clearly labeled system would help, especially when you are prepping an episode a week or two in advance. Also, being able to prep the show in advance, I want to be able to load the text for my teleprompter into the session before I actually sign in. Those aren't the biggest deals in the world but more personal wants than anything. Overall, it is a phenomenal system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem it is solving for me is lumping together the recording and editing into one place. Working on multiple platforms to record, edit and make marketing materials is something that I would love to avoid and have been able to with Riverside.
Works quite well for podcasting and quality recordings
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside works great for making recordings without requiring local software. It’s super easy to record and edit multi-track recordings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I felt like I ended up needing to pay more than I should have for the features I wanted for my single user account.
Also, the editing interface for anything but doing very basic edits isn’t great. It’s not really for doing advanced editing, but if I need to do anything that resembles complicated I need to pull down the tracks and edit locally.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They’re adding more layouts in the edit interface which is nice. One of my frustrations early in my account with Riverside was that the layouts for multi speaker was REALLY basic. It’s getting better.
Riverside Transformed Our Webinar and Ecommerce Content Strategy
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside has been a game-changer for our content production as the CEO of Riverside, an hybrid eCommerce and webinar marketplace. Whether or not this is how you choose to use SquadCast, it completely eliminated our largest variable and source of frustration — inconsistent quality across platforms. We easily take our editing to Post because of the separate audio/video tracks, and we use it as clips are repurposed for social media or embedded into our eCommerce product pages. Integrations with Hosting platforms (e.g. via API Zoom Webinars and Shopify) facilitated the flow of information, eliminating the necessity to have an additional layer of tool and therefore more work load on our side. I also love the AI-powered transcriptions which save me hours when we are converting a webinar recording into an SEO-friendly blog post. The branding allows us to look professional when customers view the content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Riverside is good at its core functionality, but it should try to offer a better mobile app experience for viewers that are coming in from their smartphones. Every now and then browser based guests experience a delay in switching from video to screen share, but it is not very often. Furthermore, I would like to see even more robust native integrations with smaller eCommerce niche platforms (e.g., BigCommerce) to extend further into content distribution automation. Having said that, they have a responsive development team who will takes your feedback on-board and I hope these gaps to diminish soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to Riverside, utilizing webinars – the recordings alone had compressed audio/video & sync issues which was tarnishing our brand. We can now serve up perfect recordings that build trust with our B2B buyers. The reliability of the platform also means we can monetize content much quicker (webinar replays into gated lead magnets or paid courses). Utilizing Riverside's API, we can auto-publish product demo videos to our store for higher-converting direct-to-ecommerce integrations. Content time-to-market dropped by 60% and customer engagement doubled for hybrid (webinar + eCommerce) campaigns.

It is easy to setup and get started, you don't have to be a technical expert.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the loading times and uploading pieces especially for guests can get tricky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside helps me produce and edit podcasts faster than ever.
Seamless Experience
What do you like best about the product?
It's ease of use. It's ability to create generated summaries and bullet points
What do you dislike about the product?
The limits. Riverside has various limits that I think if removed or expanded. It would be a better a product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping record and store podcast interviews with successful guests
Can't imagine podcasting without Riverside
What do you like best about the product?
It's super easy to figure out how to use it, and I'm using it a lot. Like 3X per week. They also make a lot of product updates so there's always something new to try out. If I ever come across an issue I can message or email CS and they'll help me take care of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the product updates aren't fully polished and there are some kinks to work out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a podcast host and need an intimate, professional place to record my sessions. I'm also a content creator so I need the Magic Clips and the transcripts to help me create content for myself and for clients. Uploading recordings and using Riverside's features has become really helpful as my my client work has leaned more heavily into content creation.
Riverside makes podcasting a breeze!
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve tried a few recording platforms, but Riverside has quickly become my favorite. The interface is incredibly intuitive—everything is right where you expect it to be, making it easy to jump in and start recording without a steep learning curve. The directions are clear, concise, and easy to follow, so even first-time users can get professional results.
Uploads are lightning fast, and the audio and video quality is consistently excellent. I love knowing that my content will look and sound great without spending hours troubleshooting. Riverside truly streamlines the podcasting process so I can focus on the conversation, not the tech.
Highly recommend for anyone who values ease of use, speed, and quality!

This is a one-stop-shop for all of my podcasting needs.
Excellent platform!
What do you like best about the product?
I am not super techy, so this platform is very user friendly. Customer service is amazing!
What do you dislike about the product?
Thus far, almost anything I've been frustrated with has been user error, or a new feature rolls out. I look forward to whne we can go directly from Riverside to YouTube.

The continue to updgrade, adding new features and ease of use all the time.
How Ovissy Can Be an All-In-One for Podcast Hosting and Studio-Quality Transcriptions
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside also is the place I host my professional podcast interviews w/it being so accurate and easy to use, it has made me only post on any other platform if I REALLY have to. The single-channel, high-quality audio tracks of each guest ensure our episodes sound professional and the automated transcription saves my team 10+ hours in post production per week. Everything is really centred on the ease with which we can repurpose content — having the transcriptions means that blog posts, social media snippets and newsletter content can all come from one recording session.
I use it to record interviews, and its stability means no worries when I need absolute peace of mind during crucial ones. Whereas other solutions we have tested it never drops recordings, even the Internet is not strong. The ability to record high-quality video podcasts with crystal-clear audio has had a big impact on the perceived professionalism of our brand.

What do you dislike about the product?
The vast majority of the transcription is impeccable, but some proprietary terms or dialects can trip an error in recognition and need to be subsequently corrected on a minor amount. The mobile app, which is a huge plus when we are moving as much as this app offers, is rather limited compared to the desktop version (I want to review recordings on the go!)
Advanced analytics for our hosted content as well would be great — we actually supplement this with Google Analytics to see how listeners are receiving the episodes. It is fairly priced, but the pricing structure could be less rigid for early stage startups with variable recording needs.

What we wasted Time and Money on before Riverside :
Transcriptions — Avg $3/minute 24 hour turnaround
Post Production (audio engineers to clean up bad recordings)
3 ≠ 1 You will need multiple platforms for recording, hosting and distribution.
Now we have:
Transcripts that are available immediately and searchable for every interview (great for repurposing content)
Our brand in a professional media hosting solution.
Massive by cutting down on multiple service subscriptions
But most importantly, Riverside has helped us in our efforts to scale thought leadership. QWe've tripled our publishing frequency without adding headcount and now have pros reaching out to be guests on the podcast. Even with just the time savings it has given me peace of mind to focus more on overall growth strategy not as much production logistics.

A Comprehensive Solution for Professional Screen Capture, Hosting, and Webinars
What do you like best about the product?
As a Managing Director, in-line video recording is vital to chip, screen and host webinars over Riverside, where it excels on all 3 fronts. Recording locally is important for when quality needs to be at the highest level, as it involves our executives standing in front of people and we need that presentation facing clients. Within Communicate, individual tracks are recorded for each user (to whatever extent possible), taking the headache of post-production editing off our plate and saving our team hours.
In the world of webinars, Riverside impresses us again with its reliability. Compared to other platforms that tend to lag or drop you connection, Riverside still functions smoothly even at scale. Having the transcription built-in is incredibly useful — we now have a fully searchable, accurate record of each of our sessions that we can send to stakeholders or re-use for marketing purposes.
The integration with our existing tools (like Slack and Salesforce) is seamless, and the hosting feature enables us to keep up a catalog of professional and branded media without having to pay for more platforms.

What do you dislike about the product?
Looking at Riverside, it does a great job in the majority of areas but falls behind when analyzing webinar analytics such as attendee engagement during live events. The mobile app is serviceable but — as with all smartphone-based solutions — it lacks the more granular controls afforded on desktop, which can be a bit limiting when reviewing recordings on the go.
Setting up webinar for more than 100 participants took a bit of tinkering back and forth with the support to get right as well. It runs beautifully after setting it up but the learning curve for more advanced features could be easier.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We bounced around using multiple tools for recording, hosting, and webinars (since we also make a podcast), which resulted in inconsistent quality, added costs, and workflow inefficiencies BEFORE Riverside. With everything now under one roof we can ensure a refined and consistent finish to all our content.
Our thought leadership has been impacted the most. Riverside has increased our hiring with their monthly executive webinars and the reliability and post-production tools have changed people's perspective of our brand from just two dudes in a van. This has also increased our marketing reach by allowing us to short clips for social media created from quickly edited pieces of recordings.
This represents a huge time-saving from an operations perspective. While this was previously a manual process that could take hours of file management and editing, it now largely automates our workflow so we can focus on improving the quality of content rather than technical barriers.
