Reliable and studio-level quality for remote recordings
What do you like best about the product?
What stands out to me about Riverside is how professional the results look compared to other recording tools I’ve tried. The platform records locally for each participant, which means even if someone’s Wi-Fi drops, the final video and audio still come out flawless. I also like that the interface is simple — I can send a link, my guest joins in seconds, and everything just works. It feels like a real studio setup but inside a browser.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the processing and upload times were a little faster after long recordings, and the mobile app could use some of the same editing tools as the desktop version. Still, these are minor issues compared to the overall reliability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before switching to Riverside, recording remote interviews was stressful — lag, echo, and poor sync were constant issues. Now, our podcasts and video sessions come out sharp every time. It’s made our production smoother, our turnaround faster, and our quality noticeably higher. Clients and listeners have both mentioned the improvement.
Riverside made remote recording smooth and professional
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy Riverside makes remote interviews and podcast sessions. The platform feels very stable, and even when someone’s connection drops, the recording quality stays crystal clear thanks to local capture. The layout is clean, guest invites are simple, and I love how everything syncs automatically without technical setup. It genuinely saves us hours every week.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes uploading large video files after long sessions takes a bit of time, and I’d like to see more layout customization for video exports. Other than that, it performs consistently and delivers excellent results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to struggle with unreliable connections and poor audio when recording remotely. Since switching to Riverside, we’ve been able to maintain professional sound and video quality no matter where our guests are located. It’s helped us scale our content creation process and deliver a far more polished end product.
Professional quality, but without the production hassle.
What do you like best about the product?
Itsaudio and video quality were the main points that convinced us. We do a monthly podcast and bring on guests from all over the country. And internet connections have always been a problem. Even if a guest's connection is bad, Riverside's local recording feature makes it possible to have an excellent, high-fidelity recording from their side. Our editor is greatly benefitted from the separate audio and video tracks for each participant. Also, the capacity to record the screen and video of everyone at the same time has been wonderful to the short, impactful clips for social media. Our guests are able to join without any technical support as the procedure is quite understandable. My team can do quick edits by utilizing the platform's in-built editor which is quite easy and they do not have to send the files to another party.
What do you dislike about the product?
Basically, the audio is of a high standard; however, the accompanying editing features might only be appropriate for simple operations and could be seen as somewhat limited if compared to a fully-fledged desktop editor. For instance, the example given was that one cannot as easily directly make highly accurate changes to a multi-track timeline. It was during this time that we also ran into a situation where a recording's processing took longer than it usually does before it could be downloaded, and for this reason, we had a slight delay in our publishing schedule. Possibly, the enormous number of features may overwhelm you at your first attempt, but very soon you work out which ones are necessary for your daily workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside takes care of issues which were a thorn in our sides - the fluctuation in guest audio/video quality and the mammoth file sizes that come with high-res recordings. Previously, we used to ask our guests to shoot videos on their phones, and then syncing and cleaning up those files would eat into our time. Currently, everyone sounds and looks as if they are in a professional studio, which elevates the perceived quality of our brand. So, there has been a very drastic reduction in both pre-production stress and post-production editing time. The crew is no longer bogged down with technical problems, but rather, they have time to focus on content promotion and audience engagement. High-quality podcast production which was a logistical nightmare has now become a manageable part of our content strategy.
Riverside Saves me hours of production time
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use is incredible. I've seen Riverside develop into something truly impressive. It's become one of my go-to programs, and I use it several times a week. It saves me hours and functions like a full production team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish i could down load direct from YouTube, but that's not that necessary. Riverside already does more than anticipated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What would normally take me days, takes minutes.
Helped to Make the Usually Complicated Process of Remote Content Production Straightforward
What do you like best about the product?
Our marketing team has benefitted greatly from Riverside in terms of producing remote video content. We can easily record both screen and webcam at the same time and the audio editing tools allow us to quickly clean up interviews and webinars without the need for a third-party software. Also, the interface is designed in such a way that even technically inexperienced team members can find it intuitive. The tasks of exporting content in different formats for use on social media or in internal presentations are both easy and dependable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The timeline editing could get a little more work done if the team was longer recordings. There are times when I have to go through extra steps to fine-tune audio, but I can handle it for most of my projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before the implementation of Riverside, the process of producing video content remotely that was on point with polished standards was a tough one and demanded the use of several different platforms. Nowadays, recording, editing, and repurposing of content can be done in a single location. The result of this intervention has been a decrease in the turnaround time, a reduction in the number of production errors, and the enablement of our team to consistently deliver high-quality content for campaigns and internal communications. In general, it has not only made our workflow more effective but also has had a positive effect on the content delivery speed across different departments.
Riverside gave us broadcast-quality recordings without the studio overhead
What do you like best about the product?
What I really appreciate about Riverside is how effortlessly we can record remote interviews and screen-capture sessions in high quality — the local recording feature means even if a guest’s internet fluctuates, we still get clean audio and video, and the workflow is simple enough that even non-technical team members jump right in.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main thing I’d improve is the built-in editing and export process — when we work on longer sessions or multiple camera layouts, the export can take a bit longer than expected, and some premium features remain behind higher tiers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to Riverside, our setup was disjointed — we managed varying internet connections, guest hassles, sync issues and post-production delays. With Riverside everything is streamlined: recording, editing, export all in one place, and we’ve significantly reduced production time while improving our end-product quality.
A Tool That Is Perfect for Your Remote Content Production
What do you like best about the product?
Even if the participants are in different places, the processes of capturing the screen and video recording are dependable. Also, audio editing is very simple and results in pure and clear sound. The platform is simple to get, and our team became comfortable with it in a very short time. Our usual formats for sharing content, both internally and externally, are nicely taken care of by the export options.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more features available for me to customize in the audio editing panel. At this moment, some minor parts still have to be done in external software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Content production from a distance was usually a headache of many necessary tools, plus there were always some inconsistencies before we started to use Riverside. The company has facilitated our work by means of recording and editing only and thus we hold webinars, demos, and interviews of the highest possible quality. In addition, it has shortened the time required for the overall production and improved the workflow, which in turn results in a greater volume of marketing and training content.
Video Content Editing and Repurposing That Are Time-Saving
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to trim clips, edit audio, and export content in different formats with Riverside. Due to the platform's simplicity, our senior team can quickly produce social media highlights and internal training videos. By simultaneously recording screen and webcam, our product demos have become visually appealing without the need for extra setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Improving the features of batch processing multiple files at once is possible. Those teams who have many recordings will be able to save a lot of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At one time, we were forced to use different recording and editing software, which made our work in creating content very slow. However, with the help of Riverside, all recording, editing, and repurposing processes have been centralized, which in turn has eliminated the occurrence of errors and accelerated the turnaround. The effectiveness that we gain from this makes it possible for us to uphold a content schedule not only for campaigns but also for internal communications.
Content Teams' Use of a Trustworthy Remote Recording Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Mostly, the feature to get video and audio from more than one person without the lag which can be heard or seen is of great significance. The editing tools are easy to understand, and the platform gives us the option to very quickly get rid of the background noise and also adjust the audio volume. There is no hitch in the integration with other editing tools that we use which keeps our work flowing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Indeed, the recording interface is intuitive, but I had to try the advanced editing tools several times before I fully understood them. Getting a guided walkthrough for these features would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to suffer from low-quality audio and video in our remote interview recordings. Now, with Riverside, the output is always of the same quality, thus making our final deliverables more professional in appearance. The good thing also is that less time is spent on post-production, so our team can focus on content strategy and promotion.
Easily Recorded and Edited Content for Our Marketing Team
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside has made it very easy for our marketing team to record remote interviews and webinars. The video and screen capturing quality are top-notch, and I can do both video and audio editing right there on the platform without the need for other tools. The look and feel of the product are pretty simple so even new team members get it quickly. When there are small technical questions, the customer support that helps is responsive, which makes it easy to get them solved.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes longer than the estimated time when I export long video projects. Also, I am thinking that audio and video editing for social media formats should have more preset templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Riverside, producing video content that met professional standards required us to go through multiple software tools, and the process of syncing audio had to be done separately. Currently, we are able to do everything from capturing, editing, and repurposing content in one place. This has allowed us to ramp up production, minimize the number of mistakes in the editing process, and be able to deliver a polished material for campaigns and webinars on a regular basis.
