Works easily, recordings are high quality.

Phenomenal, intuitive, customer focused
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside is an easy-to-use platform for podcasters, new and seasoned. The customer service is outstanding, with a quick response time. The interface is pleasing on the eyes, and easy to understand and navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had a few issues between my internet and Riverside that I had not had with previous remote recording sites. However Riverside was eager and responsive to helping me find a solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm not sure what problems Riverside.fm is currently solving - but I can say that the product they offer is like none other that i've found in three years of podcasting.
Needed a reliable way to record my podcasts - Riverside.fm didn't disappoint.
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful feature on Riverside.fm is their Chat support. I get a friendly and helpful solution for every question I ask within minutes! The recording function is easy and reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to Riverside.fm is that most organisations have some form of VPN or Anti-virus that blocks it. It takes a lot of effort for these organisations to unblock sites like Riverside.fm The solution is to use your mobile, but this isn't always the preferred method for interviewing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a reliable method to record interviews online. I wanted the audio tracks to be separate and the video quality to be usable and not mangled due to low bandwidth.
Easy, hassle-free way to record high-quality video remotely
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Riverside for 2+ years and have enjoyed the continual improvements. For someone like me, a video producer & editor, who is used to hiring a crew and sound stage and dealing with technical headaches, I enjoy how seamless and easy Riverside makes the experience for both interviewer and interviewee. Not a lot of hassle getting the "technical" stuff out of the way, so you can focus on getting a great interview.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm still not 100% confident about recording on phones or tablets- I've had varying success with that. I suspect they have improved that since the last time I recorded on an iphone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since Covid, I have been forced to come up with creative ways to get quality video interviews for use in advertising and marketing campaigns for my clients- Riverside enables me to get great quality video interviews without spending time, resources and energy in booking flights, hotels, crews, talent and location. Everything is remote, but in some cases the end result is imperceptible to the viewer.

Getting onto Riveraide and recording is as easy as turning on your laptop to get onto the Internet!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything bad about Riverside.fm!

Making it easy to record a podcast.
MY GREAT EXPERIENCE
What do you like best about the product?
The recording quality, speed of upload, an editing capacity surpasses other platforms I have used. It's not even close.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not yet learned how to bring in other elements to the recording, like my opening bumper, but I am sure it's there somewhere.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside makes recording my podcast solo or with guests seemless.
Smooth recording experience for a beginner.
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a beginner, and so far, the experience of recording my first few episodes in Riverside has been smooth and easy. I'm looking forward to testing it out with guests and hearing how their experience is.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike so far is not being able to change the orientation of the videos. I'd prefer being able to switch between gallery view and speaker view, like in Zoom. Maybe in a future version!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like having all the functionality of Riverside.fm instead of just using Zoom for my podcast. Even though I'm a beginner, I wanted to create a professional sounding show and I trust that Riverside's technology is set up to help me do that well.
Great recording tool & customer support
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, easy to edit, has great customer support, and the price is good as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a dislike but would like to see more functions for editing, for example, importing sound bites, and being able to toggle between tracks (speakers).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a way to record podcast audio and video, Riverside allows this to happen and records multiple tracks. Even when we had the video switched off Riverside was able to capture this for us.
Easy to use, high-quality recordings, well designed and seemingly reliable
What do you like best about the product?
I'm new to podcasting and the interface and interaction with other software has been very easy to grasp. I love the fact that I can download each element separately — high def audio + video for each participant. Sharing the link with my podcast guests is a breeze and the fact that all our audio/video recordings are done at source, rather than over the internet, is an amazing benefit. Terrible connection? Who cares! The audio will be pristine as it's recorded on my guest's local hard drive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could switch between split screen and full screen at different points in the recording.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's enabling me to easily record podcasts.
Best Web Based Studio Out There!
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how it records on each person's computer then uploads! This is very helpful in getting the best possible quality and gives us great content to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
The editor is not the best, you can't expand the video or audio as your are editing it to see it smaller and so its always a guessing game of where you're cutting it. Also, it would be great to be able to change the standard background of the video.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I record both a video podcast and regular podcast in it, and it really helps us to keep the quality up, stay organized and have a professional studio that we know wont fail us.
