It's a great tool for creators.
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to record, and to create clips. Studios are convenient and let me organize better.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes had trouble with the live broadcasting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recording our guests and between cohosts. Also, support has helped me a lot in the past.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using riverside fm in the recent months to use as a software for my podcast. The audio has came back great and the support is responsive!
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found much I dislike on riverside. They give you storage for free trial and then it is very cost effective to get started.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside is solving the problem of people wanting to find solution to not only record podcasts with people in different areas, but also edit in house.

The ease of editing and exporting video, audio, and text content.

I'd love to see more training courses offered with a practical question-and-answer feature.

I needed high quality video recording of my content that was better quality than Zoom and easy to use for clients.
Riverside offers superb video quality
What do you like best about the product?
We have switched over to Riverside.FM for much of our podcast interview recording because it offers higher quality video, even when Internet connections aren't perfect. Also there is no software download necessary for guests. In addition I have more control over audio levels as host.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing may be a bit high for some users, depending on the needs. And it would be good if it worked with a greater number of browsers.

It provides high quality video especially when dealing with less than perfect Internet connections.

What do you like best about the product?
Riverside.fm is the perfect product for recording podcasts. It's the best tool we've found to capture high-quality audio and video from our interviewees while making the process as simple as possible for them. They just click on a link and we take care of everything else.

What do you dislike about the product?
Riverside.fm has been great! We haven't really experienced any true cons, so far. They have a built-in editing program that isn't customizable enough for us, so we prefer to edit in our own software, but Riverside.fm captures excellent audio and video to allow us to create the perfect end product for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our biggest problem has been capturing high-quality audio and video during remote interviews, especially when the interviewees aren't super tech-savvy. Riverside.fm records locally and then uploads the audio and video to capture the best quality and the interviewee only has to click on a link we provide. It's a fantastic solution to this problem and allows us to create great looking videos.
Easy to use and much better quality than Zoom

Riverside.fm allows me to produce professional-looking programs remotely.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Riverside seems to cater to webcam use, I have yet to find the quality of a webcam to be as good as any cell phone camera. I recommend all my interviewees to use their cell phone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a video producer, I need to capture cost-effective interviews all over the United States. Oftentimes, there is not enough budget to travel everywhere. Riverside.fm allows me to get the content I need to complete my clients' videos.

Riverside is easy to use, you control the recording yourself, and all the guest has to do is follow the link you send them.

It is dependent on having a reliable internet connection but so is everything.

I needed a cost-effective way to be able to connect with and record interview guests in other cities.
A great platform to record videos and podcasts with remotely
What do you like best about the product?
We started using Riverside instead of Zoom to record staff and interviews remotely. It provides much higher video and sound quality than Zoom as it records all video locally on the remote computer before uploading during and after the interview process.
We've since started using it to record our podcast with remote guests. It seamlessly allows you to record multiple people in different locations, with or without video (audio only for podcasts if you prefer) and all is available for download in high definition. The automatic transcription tool is also a huge time saver allowing you to quickly scan longer conversations for key moments.
Riverside is also very well priced for the service it provides.

One minor downside is that Riverside only works properly with Google Chrome, so you must ensure everyone joining the call has Chrome installed and updated for it to work.

Amazing podcasting platform
What do you like best about the product?
I was using another platform that only supported HD video recordings, and Riverside supports 4k.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is nothing I dislike about Riverside.fm. For me, there are no downsides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside.fm solved the problem of inadequate video resolution. My previous tool only supported high-definition recordings, and I like that Riverside.fm provides 4k resolutions.

We've shifted our podcast over to video. Riverside has made the process easy.
