Professional & User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside is a very user friendly application that helps me provide a more professional audio and video experience for my listeners. The local recording ensures the highest audio and video quality. The edited platform makes clip edited simple and easy. I had an uploading issue that customer service was very prompt to fix.
What do you dislike about the product?
The editor is difficult to be precise with on time stamps. I find it easier to just download a larger clip then edited it further down in another app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is way more professional quality then Zoom, which I was initially using.
Professional podcast results without the cost of a fancy studio
What do you like best about the product?
As a podcast and YouTube producer, I am always looking for products to help my clients up their game. Riverside is the answer. Great studio quality results without a high ticket cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside about Riverside.fm is that I didn't use it sooner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside is producing great audio and video recordings from anywhere. Podcast guests don't necessarily need a nice mic or set up to have a great interview!
Riverside has provided a new revenue stream for my business
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to capture great quality video of my attendee means I can create awesome podcasts. The ability to download to DScript or Premiere is super helpful too. The other brilliant thing is the ability to sync to my dropbox account which means I can automate the editing process with my VA and Zapier! Amazing!
What do you dislike about the product?
A direct integration with Zapier would be great. Built-in AI analysis of the transcription would be helpful too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to capture high quality video from my client without having to physically visit them literally creates a new product class for my business. I can offer a lower price point for video capture.
Great Software and Service is
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is simple to use and understand especially for a beginner. I have used another software for podcasting and the learning curve is alot more of a challenge compared to Riverside. I also like how timely the customer service was when I reached out.
What do you dislike about the product?
The editing tools within Riverside could be a little bit more advanced to help give the video or audio a studio sound quality. The editing section needs more tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside solves the issue video recording without having to burn up my hard drive but I am able to record using my web browser. Also looking for the right software that has decent video recording quality was a challenge. I also love being able to separate the tracks audio from video.
Revolutionary
What do you like best about the product?
This platform is really changing the game for podcasters. I love the ease of use and the fact that even when the internet connection is lost, it still records. Genius. And absolutely what I've needed considering that many of my podcast guests are out of town or international, calling over their respective wifi connections.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price. I absolutely think it's great, but had it been more closely priced to Zoom, it would be that much better...and that much more accessible!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside.fm has allowed me to start my podcast with guests that are not local. Again, it is also making it so that when audio or technical issues arise, the platform keeps recording.
So easy to use! quality is above expectations.

I can connect people from across the world and produce great content. No need to travel anymore!
What do you dislike about the product?
not being able to broadcast directly into Facebook or Insta, this would be BIG plus!

The fact that I can record remotely makes this product suitable. I have saved a ton of money and travel time.
Perfect tool for video and audio recording
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Riverside for over 2 years to record videos, presentations and podcasts for out clients. No issues to all, works as intended. Local recordings are uploaded in native quality, which is perfect.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes last year the processing of some videos got stuck, but I reached out to tech support and they restarted the processing and everything worked out and the footage was ready to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to get very high quality records. The layout is very intuitive and the clients like to use it. It records, the screen recording and the video and that's just what I need.

The way it's so easy to use. Never have had any problems.

At times it can lag but for the most part it has worked great

Simple and easy to use with High quality videos
What do you like best about the product?
High quality video clip can be generated in no time. Very easy to download them for editing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes editing features and limited. It takes time to wait for the recent videos to process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Adding more editing features so I can spend less for editing videos for Youtube channel upload.
