An ideal podcasting recording platform
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Riverside.fm for podcast recordings. The sound quality has been excellent and the platform is easy for guests and hosts alike.
What do you dislike about the product?
No major downsides. You have to use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge as your browser but that hasn't been an issue for any of my podcast guests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gives a useable podcasting recording studio for online capture of audio and video. Has made it easy to capture quality audio from guests and give me editable audio files.

Multiple platforms but riverside is the best. The video and audio recording is great allowing me to distribute to multiple platforms and I love that I can live stream.

It took a little while to get used to the platform and see where all the download options are.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside is solving the problem of having to use multiple sites and programs to effectively distribute and create content. It's an all in one solution. Using riverside has increased my performances.

What do you like best about the product?
The quality of the recordings is amazing. I came from recording podcasts on Zoom. The quality of the audio and video on Riverside.fm is just perfect!
What do you dislike about the product?
A few guests have had trouble getting their microphone or camera to work but I believe it was more a user/computer error than a Riverside issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better video quality benefits my podcast audience and that benefits me.
Has changed the way i make podcasts
What do you like best about the product?
The simple to use interface, reasonable price plans and most importantly perfect sounding audio

There's honestly not a lot to dislike. I look forward to how they update this platform in the future

The problem of how to record quality remote audio has been solved. And this means i can achieve a higher production quality.
Riverside is awesome! Great video interview platform.
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy it is to use, and how great the quality of the video is. The fact that it downloads video and audio locally as the interview occurs is amazing. Also the clip editing and and orientation is super convenient for social content.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have run into issues with video/audio content downloading from people with poor internet connection. It would be helpful if riverside prompted you or your guest before leaving the room to remind them to stay while the AV finishes uploading.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
High quality video interviews and turning those videos into long form video content and short form social media content. Also allows for orientation settings, adding watermark, etc.
So much easier to use than other options
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of Riverside is that once it's recording, everything just happens, seamlessly. I've used other platforms for recording my podcast and until recently, we used Zoom which always had quality issues. Even when the guest video is glitchy or pixelated in the recording session, I can trust that Riverside.fm is uploading a high-quality version behind the scenes.
What do you dislike about the product?
It wasn't as intuitive to set up as I would have liked and did have to send some questions to the support team but now that I'm in and using it I don't have any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An easy to use recording solution for my podcast that gets around the issue of bandwidth or latency when recording in real time over the internet. It's easy for my guests to use as well.
Good start to remote podcasting
What do you like best about the product?
I love the easy access and uploading directly online instead of on the computer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Audio is delayed and inconsistent (could be on my end too).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to do remote podcasts and make it look somewhat professional.
Hands Down the Best for Podcasting
What do you like best about the product?
I have tried so many other services and Riverside is hands down the best I have ever used. For starters, it's very easy to use. This is helpful because a lot of people I record are not tech savvy, so this has been a major plus. The customer service is also amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside about Riverside is that the AI view still needs a little work and the playback of clips still needs a little work, but neither truly interfere with the quality.

Great platform to record podcast
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very user friendly, tech support is speedily available to answer any questions and overall the quality of recordings is good!
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel a bit limited by the memebrship restrictions and I have also experienced a glitch wtihin the system while recording but overall pleased with the service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I experienced a glitch in the system while recording an episode, the combined audio tracks were out of sync and the recordings seemed to have been split apart. Still, the riverside team was able to assist and recuperate fully functional individual audio files.
