Why Riverside FM Is GREAT!!!
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside FM allows you to transition through the best avenues, to create high-quality audio without the over-compression on other past platforms I have been using. Overall this platform has allowed me to springboard my platform with high-resolution support and create the best content available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there can be weird, annoying glitches with frame rate regarding internet connection. Just follow all the rules and have an updated version of Google Chrome and a crisp, high-quality camera to create the best workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives me the stack version of post editing to create all the unique sites and sounds for my social media clips.
An easy way to record great content
What do you like best about the product?
I like how was easy the platform is to navigate. I like the quality of the video and audio as two separate tracks. It's easier for me to balance the volume on each track and the quality is much better than what I previously used.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it were less expensive. I don't need an annual membership because I don't record all year consistently, but I would love to pay less per month. I also wish the download time on videos was faster. Everything else is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The video and audio quality are better because it's being uploaded on each server. I am more productive and love to mute myself in editing while my guest is speaking.
Riverside gives Amateurs the ability to produce like pros
What do you like best about the product?
Seemless integration - very easy and intuitive tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like everything! So far, everything is working well!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RS is solving the problem of virtual studios.
Best all round recording app
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to record with both guests and producers, mark audio, play media and share screen all at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes can be quite bandwidth intensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping make podcasting simple and achievable.
Love Riverside
What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love how easy it is to use this site to record my podcast episodes remotely. I use it for every episode and have started exploring the editing tools as well. It has made being a first time podcaster seem like a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new transcript feature still has some kinks to work out, but I'm liking the concept of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's making it incredibly easy to record my podcast episodes remotely so that my participants can be included from anywhere in the country.
Game Changer!!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use. The fact that my podcast guest don't have to download any software is so simple and makes for a smooth and seamless experience from their end and mine.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't run into any major gripes yet with 4, hour-long podcast episodes in the bag at this point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Capturing HD video and high-fidelity audio feeds from my guests and myself simultaneously without latency, echo, or uploading headaches is a big win. Before, when trying to screen capture or use recordings from video conferencing software, I was never satisfied with the quality and didn't have the individual video tracks to edit easily.
Great product! Highly recommend for recording video podcasts/interviews.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use both from my perspective as the producer/host but, more importantly - easy for our guests to use. We have interviewed around 15 guests on the platform since last fall and have yet to have any critical issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to be able to have 30FPS without signing up for the enterprise-level package. At one point in time, someone had mentioned this might become available. Other than that it has perfectly suited our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides a rock-solid way to capture interviews with guests over the web, and an easy-to-use interface makes the whole process frictionless. Greatly increased our turn around time as well with it's ability to export to premiere, descript, etc...
Great out of the box!
What do you like best about the product?
The virtual studio, the ease of using it, how convenient it is to invite people in as guests or auditors, the fact that it records the audio track with the best quality on the device, be it the computer or the mobile device, and then it uploads it on the server, the overall UI experience is just great, the fact that you can edit right of the bath the podcast you just recorded, and/or download the separate tracks/video. It's just a very useful web app when it comes to launch a podcast! Thanks for creating this!
What do you dislike about the product?
I sincerely do not have any downsides or dislikes about Riverside.fm.
Though... :-) ... we still need to download the tracks individually and upload them into Logic Pro for further fine-tuning, mixing, and editing. But it is definitely not a downside, since that was exactly how we intended to use it anyway at first.
Each time we use Riverside, we notice new awesome functionalities on the editing side of it. In the long run, it would be a very handy upgrade to have access to a mini DAW directly into Riverside, and to upload VSTs, media tracks (when editing, since we can already incorporate them as we record the podcast), and further editing.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease of access to a virtual out-of-the-box studio to record podcasts with guests. Also, the fact that you get professional audio/video quality even if you are at 2500 miles from your guests.
Simple way to launch your podcast!
What do you like best about the product?
High quality recording and audio for multiple people, and most of the work is done for you! My guests have a good experience and feel professional about the setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some glitches. But every time I reach out to customer support, they are so responsive and helpful and it just changes the experience I had to something incredibly positive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building brand marketing for my business.
Removed every pain point
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside makes podcasting so easy. We get high-quality audio and video with separate tracks for each co-host and guest. The built-in templates for exporting videos are genuinely helpful. And so far there hasn't been one hiccup.
What do you dislike about the product?
This isn't Riverside's fault, but it would be nice to be able to livestream to Instagram. Also wish there were more tiers for available recording hours, or if I could buy hours ala carte.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am new to the podcasting production space, and wanted a plug-and-play solution for capturing high-quality audio and video from multiple co-hosts. We also want to create Instagram reels and TikToks videos.
