An amazing platform
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside.fm is so frictionless. You simply log in, all is there and it let's you immediately create high quality content.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to complain about. Video quality while recording is sometimes disturbingly bad. Also the organization of studios with permissions could be better
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote podcast recording, including video and an option for live streams. That covers all our business cases, which rely on remote guests and high quality output.

Automatic real-time uploading. Unless you have serious bandwidth it causes problems

The lack of any interruptions to buffering etc
Unexpectedly Amazing
What do you like best about the product?
After using Zoom, Teams etc, I went into looking for a software thinking that virtual podcasts are impossible to have excellent recording quality, but Riverside.fm blew my expectations out of the water.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I have had is that after finishing a recording, the platform has problems rendering the video, so I ended up waiting a couple of hours for a recording to finish rendering to no avail. I reached out to customer support, and they were extremely fast at diagnosing and fixing my problem. Other than that, everything has been great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside.fm solved virtual podcasts. The recording quality and control I have as a producer are unmatched. I had so many issues with low quality and difficulty of retrieving recordings, but that isn't a problem with Riverside.fm.

What do you like best about the product?
Super helpful customer service, easy to use quality controls and standards, the recent addition of automatic transcription, and easy to use guest experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
occasional technical issues, and echo (seems to happen with PC users more than Mac users)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem of remote podcasting! It's wonderful to have a high-quality solution that removes the needs for guests to produce a local recording.
Simple and convenient
What do you like best about the product?
Using Riverside makes recording my podcast very easy. I also enjoy the flexibility in exporting formats
What do you dislike about the product?
Riverside has been a great tool so far. It would be great to have an "editor" role so that my video editing can download the recordings in the format he wants

Fantastic podcast recording platform
What do you like best about the product?
Incredibly easy to use. Get UX and the end product is always high quality. I really like the easy snippet editing for social promotion and more. Looking to use more of its features as we ramp up audio.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at all. Very easy to use. Good stuff.

Podcast recording and easy editing and snippet creation for promotion.
Excellent services for our new video product
What do you like best about the product?
We recently started using Riverside.fm for our new video podcast called Let's Get To the Points. We are all in remote locations and needed the ability to record ourselves in HD with a mix out and separate tracks. So far, everything seems to be working well. We have had a few challenges due to equipment but have managed to work through those issues. Those issues we've had they've been quick to respond and help. So far so good, we hope to continue to use them.
What do you dislike about the product?
You do need a bit of working knowledge of equipment and system requirements. Don't expect to plug in your iphone and go...it works best with a computer with certain system requirements...yes, you can use a mobile device, but it can be difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They have help resolve several issues, including a syncing issue and an uploading issue. They are quick to respond and the turn around time has been acceptable.
Impeccable service support
What do you like best about the product?
We signed up for a paid account with Riverside after we started to use its free version for our podcast launch. What's impressive about the riverside team is their impeccable service quality, even before we switched to a paid account. Their chat support is always responsive and helps troubleshoot our recording issues (even on those beyond their service scope e.g. mic quality). We have no hesitation in recommending this service to any podcasters.
What do you dislike about the product?
Riverside has been great in introducing new features eg transcript. We hope they can broaden the transcript feature to cover more Asian languages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
audio recording quality - it is very stable in general. It creates ease of mind for us during recording. Its upload speed is great. It usually took us less than 10 minutes to complete the upload.
Riverside-One in a million
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Riverside.fm is its ability to streamline different ways to import media into every facet of social media. Whether it's Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, Riverside has found a way to automate and make your editing time efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Riverside is locally stored and sometimes that can be a bit problematic when it comes to livestreaming and using videos while you record.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The screen and video capture feature needs improvements. I believe many people have expressed their concerns about it and Riverside has done its due diligence in listening and responding to the request and seeking ways to improve in that area.
Riverside is excellent
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside is super easy to use, excellent for storage, great quality, offers audio and video and separate tracks, even had a backup file for me when I accidentally messed up in my storage of a recording.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I'm really just pleased. Would be good to have it work on safari too but it's not a big deal.
