Riverside has been easy to use and incredibly helpful
What do you like best about the product?
I've been so impressed with Riverside. I use them to record all my podcasts and find it very easy to use. All my guests have been able to use it easily as well. The customer service has been great too. I once contacted Riverside and received a kind and helpful response. Highly recommended.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally a guest has had trouble logging on. I've had a few internet glitches where Riverside has kicked me off. But these have been minimal and overall, it's been a positive experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's providing a place for me to meet with and record episodes even with those far away. Even if our internet isn't the best, I know the recording will be clear and crisp.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Riverside.fm offers seperate video and audio for each individual. This makes it so easy to edit my podcasts. I also love being able to skim through the transcript.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly don't dislike much. Maybe the website has been less user-friendly than I'd prefer but it was easily figured out. I'm still learning but what I have learned has been a huge help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside.fm makes podcasting much more simple. I love that I can seperate both individuals to get a good, clean take. This makes the editing process a lot easier!

What I like best is the ability to create clips.
What do you dislike about the product?
Editing on the plaform is a bit tricky. The caption does not match the audio.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its a one stop shop. I don't need to go to other platforms.

What do you like best about the product?
Records at an excellent quality. The fact that you get 4 individual streams (audio and video separate) with 4 guests gives great flexibility. Easy ability to edit in the back end. Very easy to change aspect ratios after recording and make 9:16, 1:1, 16:9 or 4:5.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you could zoom in on the wav file output and really trim at the exact millisecond, that would help. I think they are getting close to adding that though. It can be finnicky if you don't use Chrome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating long-form content and then turning it into social content snippets that fit each channels best form factor. This can be done without any editing experience at all.

What do you like best about the product?
If you're a podcaster using Zoom for podcasting, get ready for your world to get better! Riverside takes it to a new level with the features and usability. Not only do you get great audio and video but the ease at which you can then create marketing content from the podcast episode is such a time saver! It's a truly great tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an option to mark where an edit is needed instead of only being able to mark a spot to create a short clip. This would help me communicate to my editor easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time savings. As someone who produces a lot of content this tool saves me time as it helps me and my team create marketing content from the main piece of content. This makes it easier for me to share about my content in an effective way.
Excellent remote recording tool for podcasts and video!
What do you like best about the product?
The automatic local recording and uploading for guest audio and video is AMAZING!
What do you dislike about the product?
Very seldomly recordings will not work correctly, and it's hard to find the actual location of the file in the cache on the local computer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before riverside we would have guests on podcasts record themselves, but we could not monitor their recording, and sometimes they would forget to send us their recording.

What do you like best about the product?
I find the UI and UX very intuitive, easy for me to set a recording studio up on the backend, and for my client to understand how to join in the front end.
The ability to download full files and the local video storage buffer technology is a gamechanger and superior to anything else on the market, for maximising video quality while communicating with a client or guest from anywhere in the world.
4K support for modern smartphone cameras when joining through the mobile apps is probably one of my favourite features as well.

What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately there is no 4k support for Logitech 4k external webcams, their footage gets compressed to 1080p. This was never a dealbreaker for me though, as I do not own one of these cameras.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside lets me get high quality recordings of interviews with agency clients remotely, for my agency to then edit into short form video clips.
I was once able to record enough content for 15 short form videos with a client in under 45 minutes. This tool is incredibly efficient.

Riverside.fm Rocks!
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside.fm is a very user-friendly platform for podcast newbies or the most experienced. The Studio is easy to use, and allows for adding special effects to your recording! The editing features are also very nice options including editing individual participant recordings or the recording as a whole. Exporting is really cool as the video can be removed and the recording can be saved in wav format or mp3. What is really the icing on the cake, is that it is affordable and if you ever have a question, customer service is quick to answer!! Now that is amazing :)
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the connectivity during a recording can be lost, but that could also be due to internet service as well. Also, recording can be very sensitive and pick up on background noises in spite of the noise cancellation feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside.fm is helping to resolve interruptions in uploading recordings. There is a lot of helpful information available to address any technical concerns, but the customer service at Riverside.fm has always promptly supported any problems I have had.

The quality, the customer services, the features and the speed how they are releasing new features

They miss the add subtitles feature to clips but I am sure it will come soon

The option to reduce background noise. An echo makes a huge difference. And the sound is always decent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the download takes a while; I'm not always 100% sure if full download has happened before I end the call.

It is giving me a platform. I trust to capture a great audio virtually. I interview people all over the world, so this is been a lifesaver.
