Great for podcasts
What do you like best about the product?
Loves the quality of the pod recording and the ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only thing I've found... and it may be user error... is I can't figure out a way to use a green screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting out podcasts quickly and with high quality.
Easy to use, and makes us feel like polished professionals!
What do you like best about the product?
Extremely simple, intuitive controls with very little training/instruction required.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to be able to add a photo/logo for each studio to personalize it further and differentiate each a glance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our non-profit membership association wants to easily and simply create a podcast for our members. Because we live in a bilingual province, that means French and English; Riverside.fm facilitates this easily.
Riverside Review

The simplicity and the help that you get when you have questions about the site.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a little bit more to editing clips or maybe a training to help edit the clip / pay to edit section.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have many problems at all currently, riverside is one of the best for first time content creators in my opinion.
Riverside and nothing else to record your connections.

Fantastic for remote podcast recording
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside.fm has an incredibly intuitive interface to immediately begin remote recordings with multiple guests. I tried many different competitors before ultimately sticking with Riverside. I am starting a gaming podcast with five diferent people on at the same time.
I love that tracks are recorded and uploaded individually as you record (with low system requirements), and that you can then export with noise cancellation and normalisation applied too. The icing on the cake is the AI transcript feature, making it easy to search out and clip certain sections.
Great piece of kit. It's not the cheapest, but it's certainly the best I've tested.

What do you dislike about the product?
No real downsides, but, because it's a 'proper' recording piece of kit, it does rely more on having decent sound setup in your home/office/whatever.
Whereas Discord (using Craig) does a better job of removing unwanted noises, it's way too unreliable to be used for an actual-play podcast.
Like anything, the more time you spend getting the sound right BEFORE it's recorded, the better the outcome will be.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside solves the problem of being to record multiple people, at the same time, with dedicated audio channels for each participant.
I tried several other competitiors including Squadcast, Discord (Craig), Zoom and SKype and it just wasn't hitting the mark for the quality levels I wanted.

A Great Platform!
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside is very easy to use for me as a host as well as for my guests. The platform also provides a very professional studio look and feel for all of the interviews I record for my podcast. I am a huge fan!
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest, I have not had any issues with any of the aspects of the platform. I have no intention of looking for another place to host my podcast interviews!

It serves as the studio for my guests as they appear on my podcast. It looks and feels professional which always impresses my guests! And its really easy for a novice like me to use it!
Amazing Platform
What do you like best about the product?
I love that it records in high qualty no matter how the internet connection is. High quality audio and video is very important to me. I also LOVE the new magic clips feature
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. I am careful to inform my guests about the platform which eliminates most issues.

Being able to record high quality audio and video remotely.
Riverside is a solid platform for remote recording podcasts
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Riverside for over 3 years now and it has been solid for me. I use it to record shows for my clients as well as for myself. The audio and video quality are vastly superior to Zoom. It's nice having the option to record at 44.1 or 48k since my system is set to operate at 48. The video quality is only limited by the camera in use.
The user interface is easy to navigate and takes care of configuring the echo-cancellation setting for each person, based on their answer to a question when entering the studio. Riverside makes it easy when I'm engineering a session to see which mic and headphones each participant is using, eliminating some of the testing I've had to do on other platforms.
I have only lost 2 recordings out of hundreds while using Riverside, and both of these were traced down to the settings on the guest's computer.

What do you dislike about the product?
Riverside's chat tech support can be slow at times to respond, though they have improved upon this recently. There have been a few situations where the audio and video were out of sync, but tech support was able to solve the problem by re-processing the files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside allows me to offer remote engineering services to my clients while delivering significantly better audio and video quality than Zoom.
