Highly recommend Riverside.fm
What do you like best about the product?
I've hosted virtual summits in the past and we always used Zoom. This time, we used Riverside.fm and were amazed by how much the audio was improved.
Overall, Riverside.fm was easy to use and reliable. I also love how it generates transcripts (saving us time and money, as we didn't have to invest in another program in order to create transcripts).
Whether you have a podcast or are hosting a virtual event, I'd highly recommend trying Riverside.fm.

What do you dislike about the product?
There was one interview where I was suddenly kicked out of the room - this only happened once (out of 21 interviews). I was able to get back in and pick up where we left off, but it was less than ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside.fm gave us a great way to easily record interviews. We could have recorded both audios and videos, but only used audios for this project. It was easy to record and we came away with high-quality audios. I also really appreciate how it generates transcripts that we can easily edit and use.

What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like best about Riverside is that it makes it easy for every person involved to produce good quality video. Rather than relying on the quality of the Internet stream, it does what all computers can do, and record the video to the hard drive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Actually, there was one thing that I was going to say I didn't like, but after today, that is no longer the case. I grew up doing a lot of video editing, and Riverside's timeline did not allow me to zoom in on the timeline when I needed to make a precise, edit. Low and behold, I login today and they have added that feature. These guys keep getting better.

What do you like best about the product?
Riverside has made it so easy to export quality audio that is cleaned up and leveled. They also made it so easy to generate clips through AI -- It automatically creates clips and then generates great titles without any work.

What do you dislike about the product?
I can do most of my basic editing right inside Riverside, but when it comes down to small, detailed edits, I prefer to export the file and do that somewhere else. However, I have no doubt that they will improve the editing features inside Riverside. They seem to always be imrpoving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside has made it easy to capture and clean up reliable audio. They have also made it incredibly easy to grab clips for social promotion -- Their Magic Clips feature is amazing. Lastly, I love having one universal link for my studio instead of a new link for every episode recording.
Simple, streamlined, and makes everything SO MUCH EASIER, what isn’t to love!

It's Pro! Like, REALLY PRO! There's so many ways to make a podcast, and as someone doing it for the first time Riverside was the perfect platform because you could get quality from the get go, and the feeling of being a part of something awesome.

Hahaha the sound issue is my fault because I sat outside, so absolutely nothing!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's making the process easier, because it's all in program, and I can export files in high quality - something you don't get by using tech like zoom for podcast development.

Really easy to use and always results in a great quality video of everyone on a call.

The video editor is not the best. You can't clip accurately so always have to export to a different editor

Being able to record conversations and create video content without internet connection issues causing poor video quality is great

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use for both us as hosts and our guests that record with us. Our guests have never had a problem. And customer support is the best when have questions.

We have had no issues to date. And when we had any questions, the Riverside team was quick to help out.

There are two fo us on our podcast. We needed a way to record outside guests and both of us hosts. Riverside fit the bill perfectly.

The automated captions and ability to change layouts.

The hindrance of editing mispronounced words in the transcript

It's helping provide captions from my videos which makes the user experience more enjoyable.

The recording quality is excellent! I also appreciate the instructional videos. I'm new to podcasting - viewing them helped me create a great program.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can only reserve each studio for a single recording session. I'd like to schedule more. Also, the invitation function doesn't allow me to use my local time zone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have a technical background. Using Riveraide enables me to record a quality podcast without worrying about the recording quality or other technical issues.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use software and requires no installation from either side.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes uploading for users with slower Internet connections can take a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Riverside to prep our customer interviews for success stories that are featured for other users to learn about how people are experiencing value from our software solutions.
Riverside takes the stress out of recording remote interviews.
What do you like best about the product?
I'ts built with video interview for podcasts and youtube in mind and makes it incredibly easy to generate social media snippets of your content. The editing capabilities are pretty decent for basic editing as well. Today I recorded an interview and the connection was so poor I was terrified that I'd have to rerecord it. But thanks to Riverside's local recording the end result was perfect!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I'd improve is that when I have edited an interview for export and want to create another clip I have to edit every thing once again. I'd love to be able to reuse the edit and export it in different formats. But it's a minor inconvinience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All I have to do is send a guest the studio link and in 90% of the cases it requires very little setup with the guest if they have a camera and microphone already set up. I can simply hit record and Riverside records each audio and video feed locally, uploading them as we record and after the interview is completed.
