The go to platform for video podcast and interviews.
What do you like best about the product?
I dedicated a substantial portion of my time to thoroughly explore various video communication platforms. Recognising that Zoom would likely fall short of our needs, especially given the anticipated interviews with individuals in regions where internet connectivity might be unreliable, I embarked on a search for a more suitable solution.
To my knowledge, Riverside.fm stands out as the sole platform that offers the unique capability of recording each interview at its respective location. This distinctive feature empowers the Riverside solution to seamlessly accommodate challenging internet connections and variable speeds. Unlike conventional video communication platforms, which often struggle under such conditions, Riverside ensures consistent production of high-quality, uninterrupted videos without fail.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have been using the Riverside.fm studio solution for some time now. As of the time of writing, I can honestly say that I've not found anything that I dislike about their offering.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quality video productions every single time regardless of interviewees' internet connections or speed. The best solution we've found. The Riverside.fm is absolutely perfect for our needs. Would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this product to anyone that has a video communications need.
Perfect for All Things Video Content!
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside.fm has become a staple is my workflow for video content creating! It only took one day of owning the free version to upgrade to their standard plan, and I believe I will be upgrading even further in the near future.
The interface is great and easy to use. You don't have to be any type of expert to figure it out.
The options and features are amazing as well! They create a transcript with captions, remove silenced portions of my recordings, plus you can organize all your recordings into different "studios" to keep everything neat. I can't even list everything here, but this is just in their standard plan, which is crazy!
I don't record anything now without Riverside. Overlooked and Underrated!

What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't really run into any issues or dislikes yet. I do eventually have to take the recordings into Premier Pro for color grading the videos and things like that, but that isn't that big of an issue because color grading and extensive audio editing isn't their primary goal or feature. Their goal is to make recording videos, podcasts, and live streams super easy, and they are definitely accomplishing that!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to have my Camera and Mic synced into one place, where all my videos can easily be stored and organized, is the by far the biggest help! Plus I will eventually be doing online interviews, so being able to have THEIR cameras and mic files in the same place as mine will be super helpful as well!
The Best Podcasting & Interview Platform ever!
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside.fm is delightfully easy to use, produces high quality audio tracks and video for my podcast and just works. And, the customer support is spot on!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is I'm now hooked. Nothing else compares. Not a bad problem to have ;P

Riverside.fm has solved the problem of high quality interview recordings for my podcast.
Best Recording software
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that I don't have to risk losing quality because Riverside records locally. I also get multiple tracks that I can edit.
What do you dislike about the product?
The editing features are very limited and not very configurable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recording multiple users and screens
Really simple to use and the customer service is fantastic!

i like the ease of use, I like that when the recording is done I also receive a transcript of it. It makes editing so much easier!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes its difficult to find answers on the site, so I often have to reach out to customer service via the chat service.

It's making it easier for me to record and edit my podcast interviews.
The Only Podcast Platform You Need
What do you like best about the product?
I've used a lot of different podcast platforms to record, edit, capture video, etc... and pretty much all of them compromise in some area, except Riverside.fm. The system itself is really easy to use and I've had great feedback from guests on how easy it was to join sessions. I record a lot with guests so the experience for them is really important and in some other systems that I've used, there was a lot more lifting on their end than there should be. There's nothing worse than trying to trouble shoot some sort of weird glitch that prevents their camera or mics from connecting and so far that's never happened on Riverside and I am confident it won't.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly don't have any dislikes. The only minor gripe is that when you click to download files it can be a bit confusing as to when they're actually available and if you go back to the page or is it a seperate page. It took a few downloads to figure it out. Extremely minor detail and probably me being super nitpicky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest challenge I had making my podcast and video podcast was the fact that it took many different platforms to accomplish what I was trying to do. I was using one system for capturing video, using my Rodcaster Pro for audio, another for editing, another for clips, another for transcribing, and it was getting ridiculous. I'm now using Riverside for everything but final editing, only because I insert ads, intro/outro, and export for hosting. It's saved me a ton of money and time to only have one spot to do the majority of the process.
Riverside Is Amazing
What do you like best about the product?
Riverside has been the best thing that we've found for our podcast. It records us no matter where we are in the world with unbelievable clarity and ease, and we can turn around episodes quickly. We also love the ability we have to clip videos for our social channels, which helps us promote even more easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really are no downsides! Everything works extremely well and the software is reliable. We tell everybody about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are co-hosts of a podcast and we're in different places. Before, we would chat over Google Meet and record to our local machines, but it took FOREVER to line up the audio and the quality was sometimes bad. Now we just pop in Riverside, record our episodes, edit for clarity and conciseness, and publish. It's really streamlined our production.
Riverside is a game changer for my business!
What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love working with Riverside.fm! Their platform is easy to use and any issues that I've had were quickly taken care of by staff. Since they've integrated ai and the ability to create shorts I've been able to streamline services in my business to create blog posts, short form content for social media and save money!
What do you dislike about the product?
There were a couple times when moments of a recording were missing however, technical issues I've had, we're quickly investigated and resolved by staff. They really go above and beyond.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since working with Riverside.fm, I have been able to consistently produce high quality podcast episodes with people from all over the world, I've been able to use the transcripts to create compelling blog posts and now the short form content has allowed me to eliminate other services and streamline my workflow while saving money!

The platform is very user-friendly! As first time podcasters we've been able to quickly get up and running with excellent audio quality using Riverside. Highly reccomend.

What do you like best about the product?
Ideal for impactful vodcasts and audio tutorials with visuals. In just 5 minutes, you're ready to start recording, and your interviewees are confidently (remotely) prepared without worrying about technical hassles.
What do you dislike about the product?
When working on a production with multiple producers as a small-scale production company, you're more or less compelled to share a single account. Otherwise, it becomes too costly, unfortunately. However, sharing does work well too.

It makes establishing the technical connection with a remote interviewee very simple. The recording is secure as it's stored locally and retrieved later, and the quality is highly professional, comfortably meeting industry standards.
