Game changer for small content creators!

  • December 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Riverside is a super powerful platform! I don't mind paying for it because the studio is awesome, the AI features are useful, and as a content creator having it generate clips is a game changer for me!
What do you dislike about the product?
The clips that it generates that I can repost on social media! I also really like how easy it is to record with guests remotely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have always wanted to have a podcast but there was a ton of work on the back end to edit, repurpose clips, etc. Thanks to riverside, I can just focus on recording and publishing.

Sure there are limitations, but still great for beginners.

very happy with riverside

  • December 24, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Riverside.fm is its AI editing. It takes what is usually the most time-consuming part of podcast production and makes it effortless. The AI automatically removes silences, tightens up conversations, and helps produce a professional-sounding episode in a fraction of the time—without sacrificing quality. It lets me focus more on the content and the conversation, rather than getting stuck in post-production.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I like least about Riverside.fm is the long export times. After an otherwise efficient recording and editing process, waiting for exports can be frustrating and slows down the overall workflow—especially when working on tight timelines. Reducing export time would make the experience feel truly seamless from start to finish.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside.fm is solving my editing automation through AI by dramatically reducing the manual work required in post-production. Its AI-powered tools handle repetitive tasks like trimming silences, tightening conversations, and polishing audio automatically, allowing me to move from recording to a finished episode faster than ever. This automation streamlines my workflow, improves consistency, and lets me focus on creativity and content instead of technical editing.

Streamlined Podcast Production and Effortless Global Collaboration

  • December 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a full-time podcast producer, Riverside has truly streamlined my workflow and made it incredibly easy to collaborate with clients from all over the world.
What do you dislike about the product?
Riverside still has room to grow, especially when it comes to developing editing tools that would make it easier to produce a high-quality podcast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Holding individual recording so I can independently edit each recording.

Easy to use, great for new creators

  • December 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to use. Recording and inviting guests are a simple process and the editing tools are simple for a non-expert to use. It's truly amazing and the ease of use democratizes podcast and video editing beyond those trained. The magic/AI editing tools are just fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I get confused about where clips or edits end up during the editing process. The preview link doesn't work great on mobile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Riverside is a simple podcasting platform I am using to start my platform. I may explore the hosting function as I consider simple ways to do that.

Riverside is an excellent tool

  • December 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Its very easy to learn and use. It has audio enhancement tools that really improve the sound. They have good customer support and I can use AI to find clips for social media etc. I like how Riverside records each person seperately in different video and audio tracks. These are saved natively to the person's device and uploaded after. This solves the tinny audio of recorded zooms.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's an online tool so you are downloading and waiting for exporting a lot of the time. I'm not clear on which tools are best for downloading recordings that integrate best with video editing software like Avid or Premiere. You have to be sure and tell participants not to shut down their computer so that Riverside can upload their high quality video and audio.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Screen recording high quality clips of news stories. Separate audio and video tracks of participants.

Versatile, High-Quality Remote Recording Made Easy

  • December 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Riverside has some great features and the fact that you can record with someone remotely and receive full quality raw files is awesome! Also I love that they are constantly improving and adding new features as well. The software is really easy to use and it has a lot of versatility for different types of production (video recordings, podcasts, live streams, etc.). I am currently using Riverside much more often that I expected and plan on testing out more feature soon! It has been really easy to implement into my current workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software layout is a bit confusing and it almost seems like in an attempt to make it as user friendly as possible it has become more of a burden to find certain things (there's also multiple ways to do each thing which can be confusing.) I was also struggling to find information on certain features, for example I (as the producer) was hoping to run the teleprompter for my host but after an hour of tinkering I was not able to figure it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am often asked to record people remotely with whatever equipment they have (phone, laptop, etc.) and given that Riverside uploads the raw files it makes it a much better option than something like Zoom or WebEx when it comes to final quality.

Riverside is Great For Rural Creators

  • December 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As someone who started this podcast with unreliable internet in a rural community, it was invaluable that Riverside records the files locally and uploads them later. It made interviews that would have been nearly impossible to record with decent quality audio and video become well-produced podcast episodes.
What do you dislike about the product?
So the thing that has bugged me about it, and I think this is mostly fixed now, but the edit function, and especially when I tried to download an edit from the web, it would crash my browser. I could eventually get it to work, but it would sometimes take multiple tries to get it working well enough to download the edit I wanted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like that it provides a decent chunk of web storage for these interview recordings. Initially, I only used Riverside for the interview segments of the podcast, but I've started using it for every part of it, intros, transitions, ect. It is really easy to capture videos and share them with editors. You can easily share a link with someone you're working with and they can download the raw video and audio files in the best possible quality. It's really great for podcast production.

Effortless Simplicity Without Compromising Professional Quality

  • December 21, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple it is to use but at the same time with how simple it is you don’t lose any professional quality.
What do you dislike about the product?
I just wish the AI b-roll feature worked better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem they solve is studio quality sound for a person on a low budget.

Effortless Setup and Workflow Simplification for Podcasts

  • December 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Setting up the studio was really easy. I like that it was uploading while we were recording as well. The magic clips and the AI clips have simplified my workflow for the podcast.
What do you dislike about the product?
It hasn’t been simple to upload some of my existing content to the site to build into my workflow. That has been the only challenge so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest issues I was having was around the workflow for publishing my podcast. Riverside collapses that workflow because now I don’t necessarily need to leave the application. Instead of doing the work across 3 or 4 or 5 applications, I can do it with 1. That is huge. Riverside is better than using Zoom because it was designed for content creators to make their work simpler.
