Review of SolarWinds IP Address Manager
What do you like best about the product?
It's useful especially useful when you are devices across large organizations as we can manage IPAM, DHCP, DNS centrally.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's inability to adopt towards cloud environments like AWS, Azure makes it somewhat worthy less considering organizations are making transition from onprem to cloud environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a market leader in on Prem environment as it makes easy in managing IP addresses instead of maintaining large excel sheets.
Fast and in-detail upon request
What do you like best about the product?
Users can see the basic details about an active node on the homepage. They can dive into further details by selecting the active node and seeing all the details pertaining to the node.
What do you dislike about the product?
The node organization and on-page content are a bit cluttered, though it serves the purpose, a clean and tidy homepage will be more helpful for the user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can detect the node even if we are off-premises. Our service provider has a specified link to log the node anytime and anywhere.
IPAM is very rich monitoring tool
What do you like best about the product?
IPAM is helpful to view network reports and monitor entire organize subnet and VLAN management. Help to maintain records all DHCP and DNS records and locating issue.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing dislike anything, its very helpful and useful software. IPAM provide all information for DHCP and DNS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IPAM allows to locate multiple subnets within organization and globe, and very helpful to records and keeping track ip address. IPa not allocate without our knowledge.

GUI can improve so that we can get good view.

Flexible integration with other solarwind tools. It provides good documentations which really helps on implementation as well as operations. It offers nic ui features.

There were few challenges with service now integration. It lacks the modern observability capabilities.

We use it to manage our DHCP sms Ip addresses and subnets.it really help us to efficiently track our IPs.

I don't find a problem that barring my target from solarwinds database performance.
