What do you like best about the product?
Convenient and lag free. Very easy to set-up and User friendly.

not that i can think of any. Never had problems with using Solar winds

What do you like best about the product?
This tool has the capacity of opening as many sessions we want and give live updates of all the selected counters.
What do you dislike about the product?
License cost is little high but it is high overall in all good monitoring tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Servers CPU and Memory utilization and other features help to debug the issues specifically in that area.

Understand the setup once and then it is very easy to use.

What do you like best about the product?
Solarwinds have tree like hierarchy level structure where it help to get the RCA easily.lot of open parameters can be monitor with solarwinds.Good to custom the licensing for agent as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
DB restoration part.In case of disaster or any failure application level configuration is tedious task.

Quick and real time monitoring of server and application let monitoring

What do you like best about the product?
My previous job has a yearly contract in which we renew yearly with SolarWinds. I like that it provides us with security monitoring and database management. We have a pretty small IT department and this software helps us out when we are unable to physically monitor everything 24/7.
What do you dislike about the product?
The company as a whole runs very smoothly. There are times when customer service can be hard to deal with. But that happens with any company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The network configuration manager DL500 has been our biggest benefit. It does a lot of the work for us.
Robust, maybe even a bit too much so.
What do you like best about the product?
It is a beefy software with a lot of possibilities. The customization is great with the interface and the alerts can be sent to emails/mobile phones etc. The integrated search and Asset explorer saves a lot of time and you can get real-time statuses from remote interfaces.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve before you completely understand everything you can do with the software. It's a bit more expensive than I would prefer, but it's not deal breaking cause the software is good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Receiving timely alerts when something in one of the data centers fails. Can't include a screenshot cause I'm doing this survey from home and you need to be on the VPN to log into the software.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the free trial that they offer on their website to determine whether it's a good fit for your team or not.
Excellent for monitoring device resources and up/down status of network servers and deivces
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to configure new devices. It monitors almost all aspects of the server from CPU utilization to free space on storage devices. Even just simple notifications if you servers are responding to network traffic or not.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be a bit slow on parsing through the data it collects, especially if you not looking for errors, but informational items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We monitor all our physical servers and storage devices We send out email notifications to our servers support team if there are any failed hardware or if servers are reporting down. Is has made getting a head start on server repair a lot more efficient and helps keep all the techs in the loop and on the same page.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to get a handle on your servers and how they are running on the network, this software does it easily and effciently.
Managing Network Alerts and issues
What do you like best about the product?
Our teams like having one place to go to manage alerts and performance monitoring, especially as using text or email alerts tend to just get lost as noise.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have had no issues thus far; we are still working on adjusting the alert thresholds to be sure we have the things that are important to us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having one place to go to see and resolve issues; we no longer text or email issues/alerts to our agents, keeping those channels open for more important things. Right now we are only using it in sub-production, tweaking it for the alerts to fit our needs.

Easy to install and configure. We got it up and running to automatically create incidents in a few minutes.

So far we have only been able to use it to interact with the Incident table. I would like to see more options.
