Jatheon Email Archiving Solution
What do you like best about the product?
User Dashboard and the ease of use. Very effective. It is also a Cloud based product which is what we were looking for in our migration from the old, discontinued product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just bringing our old data in...not the fault of Jatheon! Other than that, nothing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Much faster results with Public Record requests.

What do you like best about the product?
What we like best about Jatheon is their response time, when we have an issue or a request they can jump on our box in a matter of minutes and figure everything out quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface from the product would need a little refresh as it doesn't look as a 2021 webpage but again, it's working well so not a big issue. The limit of 5000 export emails to PST is a little annoying when we have to export tons of emails but we deal with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Journaling to be compliant with local policies and laws.

What do you like best about the product?
Jatheon's technicians undertake all the configuration and upgrading remotely and very efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is necessary to engage Jatheon to do this maintenance because the system is arcane and complex. However, this is not a great imposition, despite the time difference, as the technicians are proficient and obliging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need long retention on e-mail due to contractual obligations and the length of our projects e.g. 30 year forest life cycle. Quite often a project exceeds the length of a manager's career and decisions from many years ago can impact on customer relationships years later.

What do you like best about the product?
Jatheon makes it easier for data management, can retrieve employee information when need. The user-friendly interface makes it simple to search for old emails, improving employee communication, transparency and accessibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is average and they do not charge extra fees for additional users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits included complete control over all previous emails, whether for legal requirements, customer service, or anything else. The emails are professionally archived and securely backed up, making it easy to search for and access old emails. In case of a compliance audit, Jatheon makes it extremely easy to retrieve the required emails, attachments, and related files, which can be download into pdfs.

What do you like best about the product?
We have been a Jatheon customer for over 10 years and have been extremely happy with how the product performs. Our appliance works without a hitch and is very easy to use. Like any technology solution there is sometimes minor issues, however, the Jatheon technical support team is top notch and is able to resolve any issues quickly and efficiently. In addition, the solution just works and requires very little management oversight to maintain.
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain functions could be easier to use from the Web UI (i.e. searches for a large volume of email that needs to be exported to PST is a feasible, however, a bit cumbersome)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meeting our compliance needs by archiving all emails flowing in and out of our environment
Good product, great support, fair price.
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to capture all in & outbound mail for multiple business organisations same time and great support.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real dislikes. Would like some more 3rd party compatibility perhaps but that's scraping the barrel.

Risk & Compliance management requirements. We now have full audited overview and access to mail data whenever required from any person or shared mailbox we want.

If looking for low maintenance product which keeps your data secure and easily accessible, and does not require a genius to maintain it, this is a great product to look into.
Jaytheon Email Archiving
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to setup, and it is a separate appliance. The folks at Jaytheon are easy to work with and respond quickly. They understand your business need to get this product up and running quickly and efficiently. The search and find function works blazing fast and it is easy to export the results.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the interface. It is not intuitive and I have to read the manual frequently when I want to accomplish something. Too bad that it can't act as a mail server in times of crisis, it is just a repository for email that flows though your system. There are redundancies built into the Jaytheon solution but they are all just an archiver.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A single source for email discovery and a backup/restore option for lost or corrupted emails. The appliance works as it should, and has been very reliable. The email searches are very fast and the export function to PST, PDF, or single emails is great. I can now handle an e-discovery request within a few minutes, what used to take hours and deliver a single pst file to the requestor.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it serious consideration. If you see their demo, you will be impressed and quickly sold once you hear the price tag.
Jatheon - Simple and easy email archiving
What do you like best about the product?
Simple and easy to use. It's been very low maintenance and just works. Email restores have been fairly easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Search functionality could be better. The max size on exporting needs to be bigger as well. I have had to restore large amounts of emails and had to do it in chunks because of the max size limit to export.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to restore deleted emails. Able to keep emails long term and create a case for legal purposes.

Using the on premise product and able to retain emails long term. Price is inexpensive and support is good.

The web based search engine is much improved nad very essy to use. the Outlook plug in works well too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Searches can be some what slow for complex searches. Basic search works best

Archival of email for search and legal hold purposes. Allows us to minimize retention on Exchange.

Get as beefy an appliance as you can afford to support searches.
