Decent email marketing tool but can't replace fully fledged marketing automation tools.
What do you like best about the product?
Data handling is very good in this tool as we can have multiple data sets for an individual record.
What do you dislike about the product?
Various features are still missing from this tool like forms, landing pages, analytics tool etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since Iterable can have multi-dimensional data, so it can be very useful to personalize content while sending out emails.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This tool is good for email marketing but can't be used as a full-fledged marketing automation tool.
Accomplishes everything our Marketing team needs.

Iterable provides a really robust platform to reach customers.

The onboarding is quite intensive, depending on your integration, but with the proper onboarding support from Iterable, it should be smooth.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a good tool have used it for 2 years now I see the improvements based on feedback they get from the user community.
Good support, great product updates
What do you like best about the product?
All the new product updates regarding the user interface and all the changes on the journey builder. I also like the AI tools provided. I would like to see some extra AI tools like data models (like Optimove's churn model) or setting goals on journeys (like in Salesforce). I also like the drag & drop editor which gives everyone a really easy way to build an email without any prerequisites.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to personalize an email based on past custom events. I would also like to have more complex and open to adaptation reporting tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform is easy to use and no prior experience or any HTML knowledge is needed. Easy to automate all ongoing campaigns or customer journeys. Also Iterable is a platform where you can have both transactional and promotional communications
Not a replacement for a full-fledged marketing automation tool.

It handles data really well, on par with any well-known data warehousing tool. You can have multiple dimensions to any piece of data for an individual record.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of missing features- forms, landing pages, a proper analytics tool (albeit it does have analytics, it's just not a really good one), and others
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since Iterable can have multi-dimensional data, and it also has the ability to program merge tags extensively which is very useful to send out extremely personalized emails.
Ease of use, intuitive interface
What do you like best about the product?
Journeys are easy to build with the drag and drop editor. The drag and drop WYSIWYG is great for our use.
What do you dislike about the product?
While editing an email from a Journey, saving that email doesn't update it in the Journey. So, you need to go back to the Journey as well. It's a double up and not doing this can lead to having no changes to a Journey.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're keeping our Clients engaged between purchases, and getting good response from them when we have a sales targeted communication. Omnichannel communications built into our Journeys - eDM and DM - are good performers.

What do you like best about the product?
Iterable is extremely customizable and user-friendly for those unfamiliar with the platform!
What do you dislike about the product?
Minor thing I would change is adding more capabilities for geo-segmenting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently solving problems by creating flows to assuage concerns, answer common questions and connect with our customers. Definitely have realized just how granular you can get with your flows and customization with Iterable!
Robust product and great tools to organize your marketing push
What do you like best about the product?
Segmenting out our email campaign user data has been a great feature. The API developer documentation is easy to understand and to implement
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the tools, at first, seem like they would be overkill and are hard to pick up
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to grab and store data specific to users that is not structured and changes rapidly. We needed no extra setup to be able to utilize it
I love Iterable!
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable is very flexible and easy to use! My favorite features are the catalog / collections, data feeds, custom events and the segmentation tool. My CSM is really helpful as well, and support is generally good at solving technical issues quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I first started using the platform, it took some time to get my head around when to use custom events, API triggers, and scheduled lists to trigger journeys. Would be great to get more training and onboarding support around the different use cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we were looking to solve with Iterable was to reduce dependency on the engineering and analytics teams, so CRM can have more control of customer engagement. We still rely on engineers to sync the data points needed for triggering journeys, segmentation and content personalization, but only for setting it up and managing the integration. Gone are the days of creating Jira tickets for a simple subject line update!
Outstanding platform and customer service!
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable had a user-friendly UI and an extremely supportive community. Our CSM and Iterable Support are always quick to respond and provide any help necessary.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind! Iterable has everything our team needs to succeed currently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are improving conversion rates and maximizing sales through our Iterable campaigns. The experiments feature has taught us a lot about our user segments as we continue to test current strategies and build new strategies.
