Awesome, intuitive, powerful platform
What do you like best about the product?
It's user-friendly, doesn't bug out and can do almost anything I try to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very little. Fewer integrations than competitors and you can't add someone to a workflow when they're created.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The user journey is much easier to build out and manage using Iterable than other platforms I have previously used. Management of lists is also much easier than Mailchimp, with the ability to update user data and pull/upload/download lists quickly.
Great B2C marketing tool
What do you like best about the product?
- The ability to easily incorporate mobile marketing in workflows
- Handlebars!
- Workflows are easy to understand and build
- Our CSM is absolutely amazing - she checks in with us and provides outstanding support and guidance when we need it
- The support team is always available on chat and email - Rachel and Leah are the best!

What do you dislike about the product?
Small limitations that add up - like:
- Not being able to search specific email addresses in a dynamic list, it would be nice to save a view of the fields and be able to export them so you don't have to Control F for the fields every time
- Missing advanced filter logic, ability to filter out users from automated workflows, easily see who's in certain automated workflows - the workaround for this is to put these people in a static list
- Email template editor - we use Litmus for this instead. Handlebars can get really tricky to use. Since the email template editor is not as intuitive, it's hard to test the handlebars in Iterable
- No auto-save feature
- Reporting and analytics - we rely on Tableau for this instead
- Customization for workflows and campaigns (i.e. ability to add a description of the workflow/campaign is something that is not available)
- Email campaigns and webhook calls cannot be throttled, causing a lot of failed events
- No drag and drop functionality available
- Cannot create a field in the project settings - you need to upload a list with the new field name instead
- Not a lot of documentation available about push notifications, mobile marketing, etc.
- Iterable community is not as engaged or strong compared to other competitors

Data driven ESP
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to get and use data in Iterable, which makes driving personalization and workflows very straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can be a bit confusing at first, and the reporting modules are fairly basic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've created a much more robust customer lifecycle communication approach, and automated many of the touchpoints for our different customers.
Multi-Channel Marketing and Constantly Updated Features
What do you like best about the product?
The User Interface is very sleek and flexible, allowing you to choose from a variety of different template builders.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a place for notation in the nodes. I would also like to see increased search functionality where you could search for words in a Campaign or Template name without getting them in the exact order. It would be great if there were a customized foldering system for campaigns, templates, and snippets. It would be great if snippets and workflows could be cloned across projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have brought several platforms together on Iterable which allows us to manage the customer livfcycle in a centralized location and allow us to trigger one channel based on the behavior in another. We are using Iterable to trigger events based off of user behavior both on and off platform using custom events and user and event attributes. We are using Handlebars to create highly targeted messaging that takes advantage of technologies like API feeds and integrations with platforms like Amplitude. We are using experiments and A/B testing to test and optimize our marketing programs for optimum ROI. We are using snippets in order to increase production efficiency and organization.
The best email platform
What do you like best about the product?
We had incredibly specific requirements for what we needed out of an email platform and iterable has everything!
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly nothing. It has every feature we need, and a comprehensive onboarding process
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Effective WYSIWYG and code editor for all abilities and variable email opt outs means we can move all teams to one platform!

What do you dislike about the product?
- Would be great to have more built in integrations and improved reporting dashboard
- Device preview does not support catalog personalization or complex templates , needs major improvement. It makes it hard to see the final template on multiple devices
- Not the most friendly and simple U. I compared to other platforms

Personalize recommendations to customers
Excellent experience
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable is an extremely powerful engagement tool that my team uses on a daily basis to send personalized, segmented and automated communication to our users. The support team is very efficient and one of the key differentiating factors, in my opinion, is the ability to create complex workflows and connect them, via webhook with our own database.
What do you dislike about the product?
UX and analytics could be improved and are not the best when we compare to other customer engagement tools. Implementation was not easy and there is a steep learning curve to understand how to use the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to send personalized communication in a scalable way to 2 million users...taking into account each user is different and has a different behavior and interests.

Consider the implementation time
Intuitive and Easy to use Software
What do you like best about the product?
I love how intuitive and advanced the platform is.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that there was a mobile App or some way of sending emails/sms that did not involve login in to a computer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform is easy to use so it makes teaching it very easy. I never have an issue that tech support isn't able to immediately look into and compared to every other platform out there, it really has incredible support and is user friendly.
Great email tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can setup drip campaigns in Iterable. This helps me set an email and then I can not worry about the follow-ups.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UX is a bit tricky. Sometimes it takes a while to load a list of contacts, and if you go too fast you have to restart. I wish this was a little faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Emailing all of our contacts on a schedule and sticking to it!
Difficult on-boarding but awesome functionality
What do you like best about the product?
Great tools, when you get into iterable you realize there's SO many options to improve your messaging and test and add functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main issue with iterable is just how hard it is to find all of those awesome tools. You need a really engaged onboarding person to make sure you can realize the full value and potential of the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Email marketing and push, great testing functionality, great segmentation gives you a lot of data to work with.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do a lot of diligence on how difficult the implementation will be
