Four Months In - Best ESP I've Used!

What do you like best about the product?
Flexible, user-friendly UI
Extremely powerful segmentation and personalization
Responsive and helpful support
We've barely scratched the surface of what we can do with Iterable in our first few months and can't wait to keep building out better campaigns
What do you dislike about the product?
Experimentation is powerful but not very user-friendly, could use some building out.
Would be nice to be able to set more preferences for UI (i.e. what sort of notifications we see, how many lists appear by default on a page, etc.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Migrating off of an old platform which could not handle our volume, often failed, and had extreme delays. Iterable is extremely reliable and extremely fast
Being able to create create workflows that refine a customer's journey at different points in their subscription.
Having a much more helpful hands-on deliverability team help ensure good inbox placement.

What do you like best about the product?
Flexible and easy to use API which has allowed us to use more data across our app, website, and database.
Easy to use UI, creating templates, campaigns and workflows.
Easy to personalize messages with dynamic content and segmentation tools
Cross channel marketing working in the same workflow - Able to send emails, in-apps, SMS all in one workflow
Great responsive support, great pool of knowledge and resource center to refer to, and ability to request new features (listen to their customers!)
Ability to automate repetitive tasks like newsletters!
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting is good but could be better, such as ability to export and send reports to stakeholders - this is something they are working on!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to send the right message at the right time to the right user by using triggers based on actions users are taking within our app throughout their journey. This has truly showed us the power of harnessing our data and creating a better experience for our user because it reaches them where they are on the right channel.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do a demo and talk to them, they work with their customers and were able to help us relieve many pain points. Great people, great software.

Data Driven Omni-Channel Dream

What do you like best about the product?
Pass in an event and it'll be there on a unified customer profile forever. Leverage that information for advanced segmentation or run a workflow and use it in any number of ways. You can even process that event and add date to customer profiles from the workflows. Email, SMS, In-App, Push Notification - I've even used it to orchestrate programmatic direct mail. And they don't stop innovating and adding features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the reporting features leave a bit to be desired, but they're making progress on them. The data structure can at times be rigid once set because it's designed to be fast. Just need to be a little more careful in implementation than you might normally be with setting events, field names and such.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable is top tier tech which helps our company grow and become more "enterprise." Omni-channel orchestration of the customer journey and lifecycle are core to the success of our (and every) business and they let us do that in a way our previous platforms couldn't.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need workflows and data retention, there's no better solution.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to connect email to our CRM and databases.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think having a data connection tool, like Workato, would make it a whole product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No issues, having several ways to draft e-mail templates is useful for different skillsets on the team. Having the ability to visually see e-mail workflows is a gamechanger. Having customer records automatically update from the CRM and web-interaction data will also help us have the most accurate information.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the easy to use UI and how the team moves quickly to improve their product offerings.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have a lot of data and sometimes the Segmentation tool runs super slowly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving multi-channel communication, segmentation, and consistent messaging problems we've had in the past. Generally, the customer benefits the most when we show we know who we're talking to.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to integrate your company's data within Iterabe allows for the ability to get very creative with targeting and segmentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
As you build out more robust workflows, data can sometimes get lagged in running the processes and can lead to delays in comms being sent out. This tends to only be an issue on larger and more complicated workflows - I wouldn't expect the average user to run into these issues very often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to use Iterable to help us be more data-driven in our approach to marketing campaigns. Being able to A/B test within a workflow makes tracking the results of various campaigns a breeze.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy and intuitive way to create automated workflows, lots of flexibility for customization, integration with a host of 3rd party software, great account support, reasonable pricing.
What do you dislike about the product?
WYSIWYG email editor is a bit limited and restrictive compared to others. Would love to see custom font integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to automate workflows and target users by using customer behavior and data is a game-changer. Helped immensely with user retention and reactivation.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to create complex workflows but ensures the maximum population of users will receive a message.
What do you dislike about the product?
Iterable has a bit more of a technical aspect than a few other systems and requires knowledge that a new marketer might not have, especially if they don't have access to developers or engineers to provide clarity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're discovering more ways to segment our audiences based on behaviors with emails and adjusting our content more frequently to optimize conversion.
The ability to track and understand the user in the user profile provides immense value of tracking when they perform and how they interact with our content.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time to go through the Iterable academy. Read as much of the documentation as you can. It is beyond helpful to have chats with your support team and any developers or engineers you have access to.

What do you like best about the product?
Iterable is easy to get started. I was up and running in a few days then able to transition to more complex use cases by the end of my first week using.
Also the team & training has been fantastic!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see Reporting/Analytics enhancements that include delivered (to email) reports and alerts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating clear and measurable work flows.

Iterable Paves The Way for Streamlined Customer Communications

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the workflow suite and the ability for us to think cross-channel when we set up campaigns and how customer actions can quickly be pulled in to create unique user experiences.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love a more out of the box solution that wouldn't create as heavy a burden on our Engineering team to also support site assets for campaigns. Right now we have 2 separate tools, and are just starting tee up how system webhooks could work to support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In consolidating our tool stack from 3 tools down to 1 we have better visibility to all the customer touch points we as a company have implemented. This has allowed us to make quicker decisions on what should remain in place and where we can consolidate messages in the flow.
