What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really as it ticks all my boxes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are automating a lot more than before via workflows and event triggers.
A complex automation platform for Email, SMS and web push notifications
What do you like best about the product?
I have been working with Iterable for a year now and I the features we value the most are:
- Catalogs to manage our translations and products. We have presence in over 17 markets and this makes our Marketing team autonomous from the Dev team.
- Custom events to trigger workflows: we use Google Tag Manager to send events and trigger workflows.
- Datafeeds to call endpoints and send the right content to each user.
- 360 user profile, with user data, events and channel subscriptions.
- Drag and drop editor that allows our Marketing team to create cool templates without the need of an HTML/CSS developer.
All these features helps to personalize and segment your audience to a point that you can target them with specific and relevant content at the right time, and what I really appreciate is that we can create a lot of campaigns and workflows with independence from our Developers team.

What do you dislike about the product?
The possibilities of the Drag and Drop editor are limited. This makes sense because is a third-party solution but it is something that might be improved in the future. We would also like to be able to use a filter in the workflows based on a datafeed answer, to be able to segment in real time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have improved our personalization and automation, creating new campaigns to contact our users in all the steps of the funnel. The main problem we had with other platforms was that we had a big dependence on the Developers team and this made the cost of new campaigns higher. With Iterable, now our Marketing team can segment, test and improve our email without the need of a dev. This saved us money in salaries and improved our quality of communication, allowing us to test A/B a lot of features, automations and specific email details, such as subjects, content and CTAs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I advice Iterable for companies in need of deep personalization and customization.
A super powerful, developer-friendly, marketing automation platform
What do you like best about the product?
I prefer Iterable because it plays great with dev teams. From a robust API integration to intuitive segmentation and workflow design, I know it's going to play nice with my back-end database. The really powerful parts of iterable come with their Data Feed and Catalog features. These features allow you to access custom object information in your marketing campaigns and even filter logic based on some fields.
What do you dislike about the product?
Iterable can be slow if you have a very complex workflow. Their error messaging is also a pain to work with at times. If you have their chat support product, it's usually easy to get answers to your questions, but it is very frustrating otherwise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When you need a marketing automation platform to conform to your custom user object fields and complex database, Iterable is the platform to go with. I've found more and more ways to bring in personalization, segmentation, and complex workflow logic with Iterable than any other marketing platform.
I love my experience in Iterable.
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is ver intuitive and their customer support is helpful as well. We also have a very great account manager and if there are issues she sees to it that it gets resolved right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like they could still improve their knowledge base center. I think that there are still some things missing and we have to go reach out to support instead of just relying on the help center articles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable helped solved the complexity of creating a customer journey. Iterable's workflow feature is so easy to use and once you get the hang of it, it saves you so much time.
Fantastic tool, highly recommend
What do you like best about the product?
Highly customisable data structure, great API support, fantastic analytics and testing tools and very user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Absolutely nothing - it's great. We have no complaints about Iterable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've finally managed to automate large parts of our lifecycle with all of our relevant data in one place.
Great for small teams who want to make a big impact
What do you like best about the product?
- Drag and drop formatting of templates expedites template creation
- Easy to set up custom workflows
- The ability to create custom link parameters for every email saves my team a ton of time and error.
- The implementation consultants are SO knowledgeable and helped us create an even better email marketing program.
- Advanced audience segmentation with dynamic lists so we don't have to consistently update lists
- It takes time but Iterable provides the resources to automate most of your marketing program needs.
- Personalization! The handlebar logic makes it easy to ass personalization to every email.

What do you dislike about the product?
- To get the most out of the product it is helpful to have an experienced data engineer on your team (depending on goals).
- Experience with our CSM has not been as helpful as we originally hoped.
- Experience with our CSM has not been as helpful as we originally hoped.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small team with a large audience so the ability to automate as many email flows and user journeys as possible is critical. The workflows in Iterable make it easy to visualize and create advanced workflows based on user actions, segmentation, and behavior.
Great platform to take marketing to the next level.
What do you like best about the product?
The extensive user profiles are one of the best features. My company uses Segment to pass through events from our website to Iterable, and our user profiles are populated with every action our prospects and customers take. This allows us to create helpful segmentation based on their experiences with us and send behavior-based messaging.
What do you dislike about the product?
Platform UI / UX could stand to get an upgrade. Some features don't work as you would expect them to, and that can make the process a little tricky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Third-party integrations that allow us to pass specific data sets right into Iterable. It will enable us to have omnichannel solutions sent by email, SMS, and push notifications. It can send mails for purchase confirmation, cancellation and password reset.
Great tool for marketing communications
What do you like best about the product?
We love the robust nature of the tool and that they're constantly updating it with new features. It's also easy enough to use that you don't need design or coding experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get a bit confusing to find things. It's very important to have good naming convenetions. Tagging or foldering could come in handy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automated workflows with email/SMS for new users. Also the ability to A/B test and segment users.
