What do you dislike about the product?
Some basic features are unavailable on Iterable, while it's already available in other competitor tools, such as global holdout group setting and global quiet hour setting. I know there are talks that they're working on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to run A/B test and send multiple campaigns at scale.
The best messaging platform in a crowded field
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable are rethinking how consumer messaging leads to better communication, higher sales, and more satisfied end users. It's an open box of features where you can build what works for you, without the constraints of a system that needs to work for everyone from your uncle that sells puzzles on ebay to the local hit restaurant that services 500 customers a day.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only complaint is that their built in editor (built on BEE) can be a little constraining sometimes and isn't always running the latest build. But it's still stronger than most WYSIWYG editors, and they offer support for fully custom HTML for larger shops that need something much more complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable is letting customers design their communication workflows on their own terms with a very robust API and workflow editor, without trying to cram 100 different features into the platform. Their core value proposition is in messaging, and they have a laser sharp focus on it.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Not the best UI
- Reporting features can be improved
- Quite buggy at times (I've experienced known issues with reporting and campaign activation)
- Template building is not flexible; you can only choose either full drag and drop (with limited wysiwyg functionalities) or full html, no in-between

Iterable review
What do you like best about the product?
iterable is a very helpful CRM tool that we use daily. It is easy to group or exclude users for email campaigns. Iterable also makes setting up drip campaigns a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe that Iterable should improve its SMS features. Would be nice to communicate with users through SMS all in one place. The insights page could be improved as well to make analyzing campaign data easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable has been a great CRM tool to get users back to our site through email campaigns and has significantly boosted our CVR. We also use push notifications through Iterable which has helped users engage with our app.
Always there
What do you like best about the product?
From my field as a developer, I always get assistance when I needed it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The handlebars technology sometimes gives problems and it falls short on developments with some complexity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us with all the travel the user makes on our site. From the landing to the purchase and the abandoned cart working with events and the user's profile information.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Fully recommended. Integral solution for the Marketing department.
Flexible, capable of manage many data and impact only the ones you need
What do you like best about the product?
The process of managing journeys: we can differentiate paths among different users and channels, bringing a segmented and precise journey for each user. The interface is pretty easy to work with and has improved a lot.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although they have improved with their insights, there is a long path still to get there. I would really appreciate a complete dashboard that we could manage and get even better reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are being able to monitor deliverability having created a specific strategy. Also, it is allowing us to create different paths. Our CM has helped a lot with coming up with great ideas (Frankie is the best!)
The Flexible and Powerful Marketing Automation Orchestration Layer
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable has a powerful series of features that make it the premier marketing automation service. We've tested out Sendgrid, Activecampaign and Hubspot and found that Iterable had the best combination of flexible and rich workflow functionality, powerful contact properties, dynamic event capturing capabilities, and the ability to dynamically serve personalized content in email. I'd recommend Iterable to any leading technology or e-commerce company.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are small things like once a data-type on a Contact or Event Property is cast then it cannot be changed. But thats a small issue. Any issue that i've had (like pushing POST webhooks inside a workflow) Iterable has worked diligently to resolve the issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's our commensurate marketing automation tool. It sends all of our marketing and transactional mail. Then orchestrates all of our marketing automation retention workflows.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For enterprise clients -- it's better than Hubspot and Activecampaign!
I have loved learning about this product and look forward to building stronger campaigns.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how customized I can make my campaigns. I like being able to design, write, and create a workflow all in one software.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how techy it can get. As a marketer without coding experience, it can get overwhelming at times
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to send emails out to all of our members and track their interaction with that email. It is awesome!
Decent email marketing tool but can't replace fully fledged marketing automation tools.
What do you like best about the product?
Data handling is very good in this tool as we can have multiple data sets for an individual record.
What do you dislike about the product?
Various features are still missing from this tool like forms, landing pages, analytics tool etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since Iterable can have multi-dimensional data, so it can be very useful to personalize content while sending out emails.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This tool is good for email marketing but can't be used as a full-fledged marketing automation tool.
Accomplishes everything our Marketing team needs.
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable provides a really robust platform to reach customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The onboarding is quite intensive, depending on your integration, but with the proper onboarding support from Iterable, it should be smooth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reaching customers with a purpose and with good data behind it.
