Iterable is innovative and support is unmatched
What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most about Iterable is:
1. Our CSM, Robyn Mucasey. No matter the time or amount of emails, she always gets back to me with a thorough explanation! She makes the effort to lay out and share examples of solutions for us and she always keeps us up-to-date with the latest Iterable developments + provides use cases of how they might be helpful to us.
2. Iterable is always innovating! In the beginning, some of the tools seemed relatively limited but they've updated the experience to be more user-friendly and listen to their customer's suggestions and implement them. They've updated their workflows to include hold triggers, tile sets, sending users to other journeys based on criteria, etc. Any time we share a suggestion with Iterable, it seems like it comes to life in a relatively timely manner.
3. Customer support - sometimes it's hit or miss but for the most part, they help work through problems with you which I couldn't appreciate more. I feel like I'm working in a team that understands my end goal and helps me get there.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. I think some of the reporting is limited - although there's lots of data, the lack of graphics makes it less actionable and slightly confusing. You can select a workflow to measure but it breaks it down by campaign rather than looking at it as a whole.
2. The hold tiles have a 30-day limit which is limiting.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable allows us to build comprehensive abandoned cart, post-abandoned cart, and promotional campaigns. Additionally, using the segmentation logic we're able to create upsell drips for behind-the-wheel driving, similar products, etc.
Friendly UI, knowledgeable and resourceful reps, responsive and helpful global support!
What do you like best about the product?
UI is user-friendly, and creating audience segmentation/lists is intuitive, especially getting an estimated count immediately! Both customer service reps and online customer support are very knowledgeable, resourceful, and helpful, whether it's looking into specific account details, providing FAQ articles, or querying data from the backend. In addition, love that the support team is global and works around the clock, I feel like I've gotten close to a few of them and love their attitude, energy, and care.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although functional, there are times where I wish Iterable had more powerful and useful features, such as a more reliable way to preview emails in different clients, browsers, and devices or more ways to manipulate and analyze campaign metrics. Some of the journey and campaign design could benefit from more granular options/tiles as well, as it seems like there's been times where I'm looking for a workaround instead of using a feature the way it was intended.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable is a centralized platform for us to maintain customer/member data so we can communicate with them across multiple channels. Although we're primarily using the email channel with a hint of SMS right now, our marketing strategy is looking to expand into more of SMS, push, and in-app.
Iterable is a match for my CRM team
What do you like best about the product?
The easy and clean interface, the update in features and the quick answer from chat.
What do you dislike about the product?
Opt-in tracking, would like to have the possibility to track it better from the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can contact directly to our users by emails, push and inapss notifications and track data from tool.
Still the best Omnichannel tool in the business in my humble opinion
What do you like best about the product?
I've used about 15 different platforms and constantly review strong competitors to Iterable. In my view, Iterable still tops the charts.
It has been built by engineers to give as much power to marketers as possible. Its segmentation system is the best I've ever seen, allowing AND/OR/NOR combinations. Its automations can trigger off any custom event or data field. Its templates are extremely versatile, allowing to inject any number of 3rd party source data into them, including solutions like Movable Ink.
Iterable's machine learning game is also very strong, and continually improving. Which leads me to my top reason for recommending Iterable over any other marketing automation platform: it continually and rapidly innovates, making its product always even better than before.

What do you dislike about the product?
It was hard to find reasons to dislike Iterable. It is not a cheap platform, but then neither are any of its competitors. I find their new campaign reporting to be quite imperfect, but I understand they acknowledge as much and are bringing upgrades to it soon. As I pointed out earlier, whatever isn't the best, Iterable will fix quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable handles all the complex business logic and triggers to lifecycle campaigns. It compiles performance statistics for the whole program. It is also our tool of choice to send out broadcast communications across multiple channels.
Personal, efficient, and responsive service
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable has grown a lot in the year that we have been using the platform - and our email strategy along with it. They frequently introduce new features that respond to customer needs; their support is quick and usually only requires a couple of emails to resolve any issues. Our Customer Success manager has gone above and beyond to help us make the most of the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Iterable has a few surface level bugs that require workarounds. Duplicating campaigns too many times can insert the wrong links into campaigns. There are also some areas where the software doesn't seem to respond to action (e.g. deleting a campaign) until you refresh the page. These are minor, though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable allows us to schedule campaigns easily and send them at the best possible time for our users through their send time optimization features. It also gives excellent visibility on key metrics, which has allowed us to make our email process more transparent to the rest of the company. This has enabled us to use email more effectively and dynamically with more teams within the business.
Iterable Review
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is straightforward to use and has a ton of resources to expand your knowledge i.e. iterable academy and iterable rescource dictionary. Unlike any other platform I have worked with, Iterable prides itself on customer feedback, and optimizations are constantly being made from these to improve the experience on the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love it if Iterable continues to work on features a customer can access without the support from ENG internally. There are so many new things coming out this year and when it comes to prioritizing internal optimizations, the hours it takes to implement some of these new resources is tough, especially if they are unique to the business and no impact sizing can be added.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross-channel optimizations and communications has helped us improve our user experience. We also have had a ton of success with contact properties that are unique to Iterable such as Brand Affinity! The evolution of the platform is very exciting as new channels and AI features roll-out that I know will make a huge impact on the way we speak to our patients.
Iterable is the best!
What do you like best about the product?
I've used 5 ESPs so far in my career, and Iterable is by far the easiest to use and most robust option out there. The team is also very supportive and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no bad things to say about Iterable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable helps us manage E2E lifecycle automation for our customers.
Iterable is solution oriented and transparent.
What do you like best about the product?
My team reports only positive things about Iterable's functionality. I, however, can judge Iterable mainly on their ability to understand and adapt to my business needs. As a manager, I value longstanding relationships with vendors. I value relationships where both sides respect and understand each other's needs. Iterable is such a partner to me. When I explained why my business needs changed, Michelle Novak and Ray Moquet found the perfect solution for us, which made me agree to extend our relationship with Iterable beyond the end of our contract.
Furthermore, we will evaluate if Iterable could be the right partner in our other ventures. Finding the correct ESP is difficult these days. I have lost a lot of money making the wrong decisions. Iterable is the right partner, so this will not happen again.

What do you dislike about the product?
To this point, there is nothing negative that I can report about Iterable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable enables us to target the right customers at the right time. We can reduce our opportunity costs drastically by tailor-made messaging. Also, Iterable makes sure that our messaging reaches the client's inbox. deliverability used to be our Achilles heel but not anymore.
Good product, your team inspires loyalty
What do you like best about the product?
- I love how intuitive Iterable is. I train marketing managers on how to use it. Often they are scared to learn a new tool, but they pick it up so quickly, and can create compaigns on their own with confidence after a single session with me.
- Your account managers are amazing! They are so helpful, and I'm always learning new things from them. Shout out to Andrew Uh and Derek Baines!
- Very stable product. You innovate at a reasonable pace, making changes to the website in a logical manner such that no one gets lost when things are moved around.
- Everyone at Iterable is competent

What do you dislike about the product?
- Sometimes it takes years for desired features to make it into Iterable. I started using Iterable in 2019, and some features I know were being requested by many customers are just now getting in. For example, rate limiting (I think you are calling it send frequency) is now in Beta, and I'm working on getting opted into that feature. While it can be annoying to wait, I've never been disappointed by a feature that Iterable released.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable is helping me manage dozens of user journeys across our product. We do a lot of experimentation, which our old system was not very good at. The main benefit of Iterable for me has been the speed and ease of deployment. I support over a dozen marketing managers (I'm in deployment), and I'm able to outsource more of the journey creation to them. Because they are more intimately involved, they are able to be more creative with their campaigns.
Coming from a difficult ESP, Iterable is like a breath of fresh air!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the campaign & journey process is highly visual. We came from an ESP that was very text-heavy and labyrinth-like.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the campaigns and templated were connected live. For example, if I have to make a last-second change to an email template, i have to make it in the campaign and template. It would be nice if they were connected to the updates would take live.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable is solving our lack of representation in the mobile space. Having Iterable gives us this presence to our customers that we have never had before.
