Good Experience
What do you like best about the product?
I think the tools in the platform are pretty self-explanatory and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting is often not very clean when you export it into a CSV. Could be some improvements within the Reporting tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable sends our triggered journeys and BAU email templates blasts - its quick, efficient and easy for our team members to use.
Easy to set up and learn how to use, great capabilities, but limited flexibility with data export

They do not make it easy to export data around campaigns and journeys to build our own performance dashboards

Great tool and easy to use for marketers
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable was very easy to pick up and user friendly for a non-technical users. In our previous platform, we had to rely completely on engineering to set up a campaign, and now there are many tools at my disposal like the drag and drop editor and the segmentation tool that I can build polished campaigns quickly. There is also extensive learning documentation and trainings which were helpful to get up to speed. The support/account management team is really friendly and nice to work with and the pricing is reasonable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside we've experienced so far is that we cannot utilize push notifications based on the lack of unique device IDs, which allow users to opt out of push notifications per device.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable helps our team create campaigns quickly and without engineering resources. It also is a reliable platform that we trust to deploy automated journeys and manage user settings.
Extended personalization at scale
What do you like best about the product?
We set out to find an ESP that would allow us to leverage a large amount of data and to create a personalized experience for users. Iterable's tools enable us to do that through programmatic interfaces, which creates a lot of efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because there's a lot of complexity available, the UI for building emails can be less than intuitive, especially when attempting to test dynamic elements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable helps us deliver content that's tailored to each of our users.
Powerful tool that leaves me wanting more
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable does a fantastic job in getting messaging out quickly, along with handling important integrations with our product so it stays up to date with the latest user info.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UX and UI could be a lot better – many tools similar to Iterable consider how businesses will interact with their systems. That does not seem to be the case with Iterable. We spend a lot of time having to "remember" where things are or how things work in order to launch campaigns. It's not very helpful in this way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Iterable, we were not sending any messaging out to customers. We now get several campaigns out every day, including notifications to customers about their lease information, overdue payments, and other outstanding notifications.
A lot of unique features, execution is often lacking
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable is a powerful tool for creating personalized, highly impactful messaging across email, push notifications, and SMS. Through powerful features like Data Feeds, Catalog, and Template customization with Handlebars, we are able to create campaigns that deliver unique value to each of our subscribers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Iterable has many great features, the execution of many of these features is often lacking. To be fair, everything works, but you will spend a lot of time reading and re-reading documentation. And if the documentation is unclear, and it often is unclear, you will also spend a lot of time with the Iterable Customer Support Team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable enables us to send highly personalized and targeted emails, push notifications, and SMS campaigns. We are able to accomplish this with the Iterable platform through an integration with our CDP: Segment.
Highly customizable email tool to help grow your business!
What do you like best about the product?
Iterable is very user-friendly and customizable based on your company's unique needs. I can proactively plan email campaigns while having the flexibility to make changes quickly and in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the UX could be improved to help simplify and clean up tiles and logic within email journeys.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iterable is solving our need for email marketing to convert users into customers, share information with customers and promote our services. Using iterable, we can add logic to customize each user's experience.
Love the capabilities, need better analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Their user facing system, and journey automation as well as AI capabilities being added

Analytics leaves more to be desired. It's hard to see my metrics at an over view. Would be great if more time was spend there to make it more user friendly

Marketing automation and email marketing campaigns. As the person who oversees these areas of the business, I am an Iterable power user
Iterable makes personalization in your campaigns so much easier!
What do you like best about the product?
The catalog function has helped significantly with personalization in our campaigns. We've really enjoyed how easy it is to run experiments for creatives and copy. Also, excellent support from the Iterable team!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some UI functions can be improved with campaign labeling, segmentation and reporting. It would be great to have more functionality to organize lists and campaigns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Personalization for 16+ languages can be very complicated but the catalog function has really helped with this. This helps us decrease manual hours working through languages and other personalization fields.
- Experiment function is an ease to use and the reporting is very helpful to see exactly what is doing well in your campaign. We've really enjoyed the heat map function of Iterable!
