Great for multi-brand management
What do you like best about the product?
We moved to Sprout to more efficiently manage our portfolio of brands in once centralized place. It's easy to use and the calendar function is great for content planning across a multi-person team.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the standard package has basic analytics, it's less user-friendly and I don't love that we have to upgrade to advanced analytics to get what we need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing social channels for multiple brands.
Intuitive & Insightful Platform for Managing Social Engagement
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social makes managing multiple social channels incredibly efficient. The interface is clean and intuitive, allowing teams to schedule, monitor, and report seamlessly. The analytics and reporting features are especially strong, providing clear insights that help guide content strategy and measure performance. Customer support is responsive and genuinely helpful whenever questions arise.
What do you dislike about the product?
While powerful, Sprout Social can be a bit pricey compared to similar tools, especially for smaller teams. The analytics dashboards, though excellent, could offer a bit more customization flexibility. At times, platform integrations take a few steps to set up, but once connected, they work well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social helps centralize all of our social media activity in one place, saving time and improving consistency across platforms. It eliminates the need to jump between multiple native apps for publishing, monitoring, and reporting. The unified inbox makes it easy to stay on top of messages and mentions, while the scheduling and analytics tools help us plan smarter and demonstrate results with clear, actionable data. Overall, it streamlines workflows and strengthens collaboration across our team.
A must for Social Media Managers

I love how seamless Sprout makes it to cross-post across multiple platforms! The reporting tools are a weekly go-to for me—they make sharing metrics with my team effortless.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more updated features such as being able to add music onto a carousel post on Instagram. I also would love to be able to post to YouTube shorts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout makes it easy to manage multiple accounts, track performance, and stay organized. The cross-posting, reporting tools, and Smart Inbox save me time and keep our social strategy running smoothly.

Sprout User for 6+ Years Until Now
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout is extremely user-friendly and intuitive, with most features that an organization of my size could want. I especially liked the Inbox feature, which allowed me to stay on top of communications with our social media channels. I like the way all of the information is displayed, the way that the analytics are delivered, and how easy my calendar was to maintain. I used it daily for 6+ years.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the last couple of years, it has become harder and harder to justify the cost of Sprout. I was extremely put off when I was first contacted by Sprout about switching to an annual subscription. While an annual subscription DID make the most sense for our organization, we felt strong-armed into the decision by the huge price hike that would have accompanied remaining month-to-month. With such a huge increase, it was less of a question of switching to an annual subscription out of convenience and more a question of do we switch to an annual subscription or do we switch to a different provider.
The introduction of 2-factor authentication coupled with the fact that adding even a second user to our plan would have doubled the cost of our service was what finally pushed us to switch to another provider. My intern and I were constantly having to coordinate logging in to get our work done because we could not justify the cost of creating an additional user. While I would have been happy to pay a nominal fee to increase the number of authorized users in order to remain a Sprout Social customer, I am absolutely unwilling to double my expenses for the sake of having a total of TWO team members access our account.
When I first joined my organization in 2019, they were using Hootsuite. I had been using Sprout Social in my previous job and actively pushed for my current organization to make the switch. Leaving was not an easy decision, I have a lot of brand loyalty for Sprout Social but there absolutely comes a tipping point. While the new service provider we are using is not perfect, I can at least have another member of my team access our social media without having to jump through hoops or pay out the nose for the privilege.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social offers a number of useful tools that help in creating a cohesive, effective social media strategy in an ever-shifting landscape. The centralized inbox makes it easy to stay on top of communications so that important messages aren't missed.
Generally easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way that Sprout Social allows you to organize, schedule and tag content for multiple platforms and brand channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout gets pricey as you add more users, limiting our team's ability to have additional team members use the platform. The engagement rates are also difficult to interpret and sometimes do not accurately reflect the stats provided by Instagram itself.

Consolidates social media channels in one management tool
Sprout Social - Gaming Industry Review
What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Sprout Social is its powerful listening and monitoring tools, which have been incredibly valuable for me as someone who works in the gaming industry. It allows me to quickly identify and track conversations happening around our games across social platforms. Whether it’s player conversations or trending topics in the community, Sprout gives us real-time insights that help us stay connected with our audience and curate content strategically. This has been essential for our content strategy and influences leadership with my decisions based on what players are genuinely talking about. I would recommend Sprout for any gaming brand that is looking for audience connection and organized insights!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout Social is challenging to use on a mobile device when logging in with Authenticator. When I attempt to enter my credentials, the app refreshes the page, making it inaccessible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social has been a game-changer for our social and community efforts in the gaming space. It helps me manage multiple platforms in one place, track player sentiment, and post content that's relevant to our community from our sentiment analysis. The analytics make it easy to see what content and campaigns are working, especially with top conversations and viral posts. Overall, it’s helped us grow engagement, stay organized, and better connect with our players.
Good platform, can be limited at times
What do you like best about the product?
A lot can be done on one platform! We use social listening the most but love the ability to manage social channels on one platform. Customer support is great and we use Sprout often.
What do you dislike about the product?
It lacks some social listening features that would be nice. I wish we could go back further in time than we can. I also wish we could dive deeper into specific interests of audiences we assess for certain brands.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout is out primary social listening tool and has made it easier to perform social listening tasks. We've previously had multiple vendors for social listening and have been able to consolidate down to only Sprout.
Sprout Social makes managing social media seamless and efficient
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social has an incredibly user-friendly interface. Everything feels intuitive and well-organized, which makes managing multiple accounts easy. The customer success team is also great - they’re always quick to respond, genuinely helpful, and go above and beyond to make sure we’re getting the most out of the platform. I’ve looked at several competitors, but Sprout really stands out because it has everything in one place, from scheduling and reporting to engagement and analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside is the cost. While the features and service are top-tier, Sprout tends to be one of the most expensive options on the market. For smaller teams or budgets, it can feel like a stretch - but the quality and support often make it worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social helps streamline social media management by keeping publishing, engagement, listening and reporting all in one place. It’s solved the problem of having to jump between multiple tools or platforms to manage content and track performance. The reporting and listening tools also make it easy to measure results and share insights with leadership quickly. Overall, it’s saved our team a ton of time, improved our workflow, and made collaboration across departments much smoother.
User-Friendly Social Media Management with Room for Analytics Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I love Sprout Social for its easy interface, which makes it straightforward to understand what each function does. This user-friendly design is incredibly beneficial for scheduling and managing my social media calendar, allowing me to efficiently organize and maintain a consistent posting schedule. Additionally, I appreciate the analytics feature that allows me to compare my performance with competitors, providing valuable insights into my social media strategy. This capability enables me to benchmark my performance and make informed decisions to improve my online presence. Moreover, even though I wasn't part of the initial setup process, Sprout Social's platform was easy to take over, making the transition seamless when I joined the department. Overall, I truly love using Sprout Social, so much so that I would rate my likelihood of recommending it to others as 8 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the reporting and analytics aspect of Sprout Social could be improved. I prefer a simpler overview of the health of my profiles, rather than the post-based focus that Sprout Social currently offers. I feel that the platform emphasizes individual posts rather than an overall image, which doesn't fully meet my needs for comprehensive analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Sprout Social user-friendly, simplifying social media scheduling and management, and allowing me to compare analytics with competitors.
