Best Social Media Management Platform - Hands Down
What do you like best about the product?
Our favorite feature has always been the sheer power and elegance of the platform's engagement and collaboration tools. As an agency that operates within Sprout all day, every day, these tools are absolutely indispensable for working at scale. When you're managing hundreds of client profiles across multiple networks, message volume quickly becomes unmanageable, but Sprout’s Smart Inbox makes handling that chaos feel effortless. Having a single, unified stream for all incoming DMs, mentions, and comments—complete with collision detection, real-time activity updates, and AI-powered sentiment analysis—means our team can provide prompt, personalized customer care across dozens of brands at an exceptional velocity. This streamlined workflow, combined with the Collaborative Content Calendar and customizable content approval processes, is what truly allows us to serve our clients efficiently without ever dropping the ball on a time-sensitive inquiry or crucial post.
What truly elevates Sprout Social beyond its competitors is its robust and presentation-ready analytics suite, which is non-negotiable for proving marketing ROI in the advertising world. We deeply value the functionality that allows us to organize our profiles into custom client groups and pull granular, cross-network performance reports that include both organic and paid social metrics in one place. This level of comprehensive, easy-to-digest data—which also includes competitive reports and Optimal Send Times—is why we’ve stuck with Sprout for over six years. Backed by fantastic customer support and the platform’s continuous innovation, the strategic insights we gain prove that the features deliver such indispensable value that the investment remains a fair and superior choice in the enterprise social management space.

What do you dislike about the product?
The primary challenge we encounter with Sprout Social isn't an issue with their platform itself, but rather a frustration inherent to operating in the social media management space: the volatility of the social networks themselves. It can be frustrating to see Sprout's functionality occasionally hindered or impeded when networks like Meta or X make abrupt changes to their APIs or data access policies without anticipating the impact on third-party providers such as Sprout. While Sprout's development team is exceptional in its speed to adapt and restore functionality, these external changes can temporarily disrupt key workflows, requiring our team to be flexible and resourceful until Sprout delivers a fix. This intermittent friction is the only true drawback to an otherwise flawless enterprise tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The fundamental problem Sprout Social solves for our advertising agency is the challenge of efficiently managing complexity and scale. Managing hundreds client profiles across disparate social networks would be functionally impossible without a centralized platform, and Sprout effectively reduces this chaos by tackling three core challenges: team collaboration, message volume, and demonstrating value. By consolidating all social conversations and comments into the Smart Inbox, Sprout saves our team hundreds of hours of manual monitoring and ensures we never miss a critical client message, allowing us to maintain a reputation for rapid customer care. Furthermore, the ability to pull and deliver presentation-ready, cross-network reports that unify paid and organic data is crucial. This not only allows us to clearly prove the return on investment to our clients but also translates raw data into strategic insights that drive the future direction of their campaigns.
Why Our CEO Loves Sprout’s Reports (and So Do I)
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social streamlines the management of all social media aspects in a single platform, encompassing planning and publishing, engagement, and analytics. The standout feature for me is the reporting tools, which transform performance data into clear, visually appealing insights that my CEO and leadership team genuinely look forward to reviewing. The platform is streamlined and intuitive, making it easy for me to demonstrate the effectiveness of our social strategy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Google Analytics integration tends to disconnect more often than I’d like, and the mobile experience could be a bit more user-friendly for managing posts on the go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social solves the challenge of managing data and posting across multiple platforms. It brings everything—content scheduling, engagement, and analytics—into one dashboard, saving time and reducing errors. I can easily post to multiple accounts at once and access clear, consistent data to measure performance and share results with leadership. It keeps our strategy organized and our reporting effortless.
Sprout Social Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sprout offers the scheduling of posts and how they offer AI assistance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the meticulous ratio requirements when planning to post on Instagram. I also think the video length limit should be increased to 30 seconds to 1 minute. I tired posting an 18 second video but I was not able to post because the video size/time was considered to be too large. It would also be nice to combine at least one video with pictures in one post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The updates are helpful.
Leveled Up Our Agencies Social Efforts
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout social has given our agency better visibility to performance of our client's social media efforts in both organic and paid. Our social media manager also handles a lot of creative (between longer form videos and reels) and is able to hand a high volume of creative across multiple platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though worth the investment, the "barrier to entry" from a pricing perspective is tough for smaller agencies. As our social media department has grown, the platform has grown with us, though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to develop content and handle organic social media management for multiple clients across multiple verticals.
Sprout is one of the best social media management tools on the market
What do you like best about the product?
Despite the availability of in-app analytics and scheduling for most social platforms, Sprout is our go-to for managing the several platforms my team operates. Keeping track of DMs, comments, social listening, post performance, and more can be easily accessed and monitored.
I'd also like to add that customer support is very responsive, and every issue I've had I've been able to speak with a real person and have the issue resolved swiftly.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout is a rather expensive tool, but even with a premium price tag, I do not have full access to every feature Sprout has to offer, like advanced analytics.
I also find Sprout to be a bit slow with rolling out updates. Collaborations were a major feature introduced to Instagram and Facebook, but it took Sprout several months to get collaborations working through the platform, and a few more months after that to work out some of the kinks.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We operate numerous social media platforms, and keeping track of them all without Sprout would be a nightmare. Sprout solves this by putting all the relevant information and functions of each platform into 1 tool.
The best tool for reporting and scheduling content.
What do you like best about the product?
I am a social media manager working for a digital marketing agency based in South Africa, and Sprout has made my life so much easier, especially with its reporting tools and content scheduling features. My reports look clean and simple, and scheduling content has never been this easy. Shoutout to the team for introducing the feature where I can schedule for different platforms at the same time. Before, I had to schedule for Facebook first and then schedule for Instagram after because the post copy or creative would be different. Now I can do everything at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside for me is that sometimes I use different browsers to access Sprout, and it always requires a code. This can be annoying when I want to do something quick and don't have access to my work email, where the code is sent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- The first thing is reporting. Sprout reports look so sleek, and they are easy to understand. Although it would be great if there were an AI that would explain what the data/numbers mean.
- Although I'm not directly involved with this, I find it very useful when it comes to Community Management. Especially the message tag feature, because at the end of the month, we are able to see which issues come up more frequently and we are able to solve them.
- Also, the content scheduling is super useful. I used to wish that Sprout would adopt the Meta Business Suite feature, which allows me to have different copy and creatives when scheduling one post without doing them separately. I'm glad Sprout introduced this.

Sprout is my social media managing dream machine
What do you like best about the product?
I love Sprout Social for its wide range of features and intuitive, user-friendly interface. It’s clearly designed with communicators in mind, not just engineers, which makes it easy to get real value out of the platform. The way it turns data into actionable insights is spot on – using data to shape strategy is fundamental to my work, and Sprout nails it.
What do you dislike about the product?
If Sprout offered a more affordable tier, it could become accessible to small and medium-sized enterprises that have not yet realised the true potential of social media marketing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social solves the problem of fragmented social management by unifying publishing, engagement, and analytics in one place. (And it looks good while it does it.)
This benefits me by saving time, simplifying collaboration, and giving me clear data-driven insights to shape strategy.

How I manage our social presence using Sprout Social.
What do you like best about the product?
Every day, I use Sprout Social to batch schedule my monthly content calendar so that I can steer clear of ad-hoc scheduling. I especially like the Smart Inbox feature. Sprout Social pools together all the mentions, DMs and reviews, so I can effortlessly troubleshoot and resolve concerns and I rely on the pre-defined responses to keep us on our tone and quickly answer messages. The customizable reporting dashboard gives me the ability to pull metrics and performance snapshots to show my coworkers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Onboarding had its still more refining of set up for various locations and user access privileges for each location. A few of the review sources that I require are still not integrated and new reviews coming in are a little delayed in the system. I steadily change between accounts and experience some latency in the system, which might be disruptive for my process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social has been a game changer for me. I can now consolidate my analytics and engagement scheduling within the app while monitoring my various account dashboards, which has been a time saver of a few hours each week. This has allowed me to build a more consistent response pattern within a 24 hour window and a noticeable improvement in response outcomes. It has become considerably easier to track both reputation signals and team activity which streamlines accountability and makes it easier to show ROI to my stakeholders.
Almost a 10/10
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout's interface is very intuitive and user-friendly--it has everything you need to effectively manage all aspects of your different social media channels in one place. Customer support is also very responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some reporting aspects can be improved. I understand there are limitations based on the social channel and how information can be pulled, but it would be so helpful to be able to easily separate paid and organic metrics for Meta platforms without a workaround like using an 'Organic' tag.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team oversees 16 different social media channels across multiple lines of business, with multiple team members, so having all of our posts streamlined in one place helps with organization, and it's especially helpful for pulling metrics.
Sprout: My Go-to Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
The capacity to publish multiple posts at the same time. Also, the social media reports are very comprehensive and insightful. I use Sprout everyday for my social media tasks
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes is a little to complicated to collaborate between multiple co-workers. The notifications aren't correctly documented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Scheduling of multiple posts for multiple social media channels. Also, gives me the opportunity to compare my organization with other competitors.
