Sprout makes it easy to schedule my posts quickly

  • October 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Great way to schedule in batches quickly. I can schedule for my colleagues in minutes and not have to worry about it anymore. I think it's a great tool to use to publish on social media fast. I love scheduling on the recommended time to get more views when users are more active on socials.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, it does fail to post because there is an issue with IG, but that's not Sprout Social's fault in any way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to schedule proactively and effectively.

Can't Complain!

  • October 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout is fairly intuitive and easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are many features that are not available within Sprout for post scheduling. TikTok carousels, IG stories with interactive elements, are just a couple of the posting styles that are not available within Sprout. I understand that it's probably nearly impossible to keep up seamlessly with Meta updates though, so I can look past it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love how we are able to create living, sharable dashboards for analytics. It makes it much easier to handle ad-hoc analytics requests.

Excellent analytics and workflow for global policy comms, but pricing is edging out smaller teams

  • October 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
• Editorial workflow magic. Sprout has completely streamlined our social media management at our organization that tracks the work of the UN Security Council. We cover everything from real-time meeting updates to in-depth policy analysis, and Sprout keeps scheduling, approvals, and analytics beautifully organized.
• Reliable data + clear reporting. The analytics suite is stellar! We use it to track growth, engagement, and content performance for institutional reporting and donor communications. Exportable visuals are a huge plus for presentations and reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
• Pricing creep. Sprout’s plans are increasingly structured for corporate or agency-level budgets. For nonprofits and small comms teams, the cost of adding users or features is getting tough to justify.
• Feature gating. Some basic tools (like certain listening or analytics features) are locked behind higher tiers — frustrating when you’re already paying a premium.
• Big-fish focus. The platform’s direction feels geared toward enterprise clients, leaving smaller mission-driven orgs a bit behind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout solves the chaos of managing multiple social channels for a policy organization with constant deadlines. Sprout lets us schedule, tag, and publish content in advance, keep messaging consistent, and analyze performance all in one place. It’s also been a game-changer for accountability: we can show real data on engagement and audience growth to our leadership and donors instead of screenshots and guesswork. Overall, it’s made our communications more strategic, timely, and measurable.

Everything a Social Media Manager Needs

  • October 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout offers everything a Social Media Manager needs to launch campaigns, track post performance, and responding to customers online. It's easy to understand if you're new to the platform as its functions are really intuitive. I also love that there are AI features to help with drafting content and translating messages and your responses for users who may prefer to communicate in a different language. Sharing stats, posts, reports, etc. with colleagues who are not Sprout users is also very easy by setting up email alerts or sharing unique links that are available to everyone (even if they don't have a Sprout seat). Supporting our customers is also made easy by Sprout through the Inbox tool and their bot offerings. We're able to store pre-drafted responses for customer inquiries making it faster for our team to respond to customers with text that has been approved by our communications team. Ensuring content is on-brand is also made easy through Sprout's approval flow process. Any submitted post by a user outside the admin team can be reviewed before it's scheduled reducing mistakes and allowing for collaboration in the team chat feature to help our team improve.
What do you dislike about the product?
The listening function within Sprout isn't as powerful as other tools that specialize in social listening. It's a nice supplement to our existing listening tool, but couldn't replace it. The bot feature is serviceable for now during our team's off-hours and weekends, but would like to see more sophisticated capabilities in the future to make it feel like our customers are speaking to a more human-like bot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer service/community management might be our biggest pain point right now, and Sprout makes it manageable. We're able to see all comments and direct messages from every platform come into one place instead of having to respond/monitor natively which saves our team a lot of time. The automated rules Sprout offers also allows us to cut down on spam to help reduce the volume of our inbound content. Sprout's social listening also allows us to find more positive content or even trending content within our industry to engage with to help boost our brand awareness and allows our brand to be more "fun" on social.

What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
No connection with Snapchat, unable to add more than 10 photos for certain platforms even though natively its allowed, can't add paid partnership on Instagram
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting is more efficient, ability to find and report on specific campaigns with tagging, and ability to analyze discussion around specific topics

Sprout Social: Easy to use social CMS for small & medium sized companies

  • October 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout is relatively intuitive to use for basic publishing functionality. Its calendar and publishing interfaces are intuitive and the high-level AI to support publishing best practices are easy to activate and provide strong support to perform well within social algorithms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout is not the best tool when scaling across a significant number of accounts. We have found it more challenging than expected to be able to stand up accounts in the hundreds and monitor sentiment at such scale.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout allows us to publish and share content at the aggregate level which frees up time to optimize content and enhance our engagement strategies. We are able to see what content is performing best so we can optimize future campaigns.

Sprout Social Saves Social Media Managers Sanity

  • October 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use, and how it is tailored exactly to the needs of a social media team (whether that's a team of 1 or 10). From content scheduling and approvals to reporting and listening tools, Sprout really helps with workflow and overall eases our workload. We use it every single day!
What do you dislike about the product?
They have limitations based on APIs of certain social apps and there are some issues with Bitly link usage, but overall there is nothing to complain about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout helps greatly with customer management and community building, content scheduling, and reporting. It saves us a ton of time, and also allows us to get a better/accurate feel of what our audience is saying about our brand and the industry at large.

Sprout has been incredibly effective in improving work flow efficiencies for my team.

  • October 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social excels at simplifying social media management through its seamless scheduling tools and robust cross-platform reporting. Its intuitive calendar interface makes it easy to plan, preview, and publish content across multiple channels from one place, while collaborative features keep teams aligned. On the analytics side, Sprout’s unified reporting pulls data from all connected platforms into clear, comprehensive reports—saving time and providing a holistic view of performance without the need to jump between apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout Social could significantly improve its platform by making key metrics more easily accessible within the user interface. Currently, finding performance data often requires navigating through multiple tabs or custom reports, which slows down quick insights. Streamlining analytics — for example, surfacing top-performing posts, engagement trends, and follower growth directly on the dashboard — would make the platform more intuitive and actionable. Simplified data visualization and customizable quick-view widgets could empower users to monitor performance at a glance and make faster, more informed content decisions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social’s social listening tool is a powerful way to stay ahead of conversations that matter. It helps brands monitor keywords, hashtags, and sentiment across platforms, offering real-time insights into audience perceptions, trending topics, and competitor activity. By turning social chatter into actionable data, Sprout enables teams to spot opportunities, manage brand reputation, and inform strategy with a deeper understanding of what their audience truly cares about.
