Great Analytics and Reporting, But Unreliable Posting and Rising Costs
What do you like best about the product?
I love the calendar system, being able to track down posts from others, and the analytics all in one spot. The reports are extremely helpful for us in use in client reports on a quarterly basis. We also like utilizing the optimized times for each platform and love new features like editing per post per platform right in the same window and TikTok/Reels publishing.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been more than a handful of times posts don't get published. We also have noticed a steady increase in price every year since we started our set up. This past year, it wasn't communicated transparently and the invoices came in as if we cancelled, were refunded, and then started a new membership. I think better explanation around this and transparency as to why the price increase would not only help us understand but also pass the information better to our clients which we use this service for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the amount of time spent scheduling posts on multiple platforms and the ease in which it takes to analyze cross platform campaigns and results.
Great for Cross-Channel Insights, Needs Better Bot Filtering
What do you like best about the product?
Cross channel comparisons make measuring social results easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Social monitoring is not good at tuning out bots and inconsequential content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Analytics were all located in one place and made managing multiple channels easy.
Detailed Account Management and Flexible Reporting for Large Corporates
What do you like best about the product?
The level of detail available for managing multiple accounts within a large corporate company. There is also great flexibility in pulling reports and creating dashboards for specific campaigns. It is also useful being able to tag content within various themes and campaigns to see the impact in reports right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the level of detail and flexibility is very useful, sometimes I think it can be too-much: that sprout is sometimes overcomplicated. For example, when building reports there are so many options, so many pull downs and different ways to cut the data. This can sometimes be laborious when you need quick info, and could perhaps be improved with AI features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The complexity of creating and managing content across multiple accounts within one organisation. Having a central platform we can all use to store and access data is very useful.
Intuitive Social Planning with Great Features
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use to plan out my social media feeds for clients has been a game- changer. I find it fairly intuitive and love the feature that shows the high-traffic times when a post is likely to receive the most organic notice. Happy that newer social media feeds have been integrated (eg. Threads and Bluesky).
What do you dislike about the product?
The most difficult thing is the occasional disconnection of certain social media profiles (usually Instagram). This may be more of a Meta/security issue, but I often don't discover the disconnection until a post bounces. It is not always easy to figure out how to do the reconnection or how to form a new group.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Advance planning allows us to map out our social media weeks in advance, allowing us to be more thoughtful and save time.
Effortless Posting, But Lacking in Analytics

I like the easy, seamless posting features..

Need more analytics for bluesky and other socials

The social media listening tools are great for conceptualizing for clients
Effortless Scheduling, But Needs Better LinkedIn Post Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to schedule posts and to get them approved by other Sprout team members or even not users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I primarily use LinkedIn and you can't see how each post type performs. You can only see how all post types perform. It would be great if I could see how a Carousel post does compared to a single image post and to look at this data throughout the whole year.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to track posts year over year and the ease of pulling analytics especially with the Tag feature.
Great for Social Insights, Needs Better User Task Management
What do you like best about the product?
- The ability to see social insights and easily navigate through various channels and areas within the platform. Community management is also a huge key part in our organization and Sprout provides us the ability to easily complete our key functions, ensuring we do not miss important partners / opportunities.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few limitations within these capabilities. It is difficult to have visibility into which users are doing what. A function to be able to assign tasks would be a great value add.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently solving the ability to navigate community management functions. This is to better solve for responding to consumer questions / comments / engagement. This allows our organization to communicate and connect with our community all in one place.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social creates a unified place to work out of, as opposed to managing multiple apps and platforms separately.
Effortless Collaboration and User-Friendly Interface for Reliable Publishing and Reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Collaborating in Sprout Social, especially when it comes to approvals, edits, and comments, is more straightforward than with any other tool I’ve used. I also really appreciate how user-friendly the interface is, both for publishing content and for generating reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to find a real downside to using Sprout Social. While I believe some other tools may be quicker to integrate with new social media channels, Sprout Social consistently does an excellent job of releasing integrations once they are fully ready and able to meet users' expectations. The only other thing is that it can be annoying to reconnect your social media channels so frequently when you have lots of posts that need to go out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social has simplified the process of editing, reviewing, and approving posts for me across different products and platforms. It also allows me to more easily track how those posts are performing. I enjoy the listening tools as well and being able to find trends quickly.
