Easy to use on Day 1 even if you've never heard of Sprout
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use. Analytics are extremely easy to understand and find. I am able to create reports right in the platform to send directly to stakeholders so they can remain updated on our social performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isnt much I dislike about the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling content especially in advance so I can focus on other parts of the marketing elements in my role or when Im gone on vacation.
User-Friendly with Stellar Feature Set
What do you like best about the product?
I love Sprout Social for its user-friendly interface, which makes navigating and using the software extremely intuitive and straightforward. The ease of use is such that I've been able to quickly train colleagues and students on it, allowing them to schedule posts and generate reports within minutes. Additionally, I appreciate the robust reporting capabilities, enabling me to conduct detailed comparative analyses and track our progress over different time periods with ease. This feature particularly stands out in helping me quickly respond to inquiries about the performance of specific posts. The ability to manage multiple social media apps through one publishing feature is another aspect I find highly valuable. It allows for seamless customization of content across different platforms without having to redundantly input information. Furthermore, the support team at Sprout Social has proven to be highly efficient, resolving any issues I encounter swiftly, as exemplified by their quick resolution of my notification issue on a past occasion. I also commend the addition of new features, such as alt text capabilities and Blue Sky, which enhance the platform's functionality and contribute significantly to our commitment to ADA compliance. This automatic inclusion of captions and alt text across platforms saves me a lot of time and ensures our social media content remains accessible.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it inconvenient that the mobile app of Sprout Social does not allow me to add alt captions. This limitation requires me to switch to my desktop to complete this task, which disrupts my workflow and adds unnecessary steps. I am aware that their team is working on resolving this, but until then, it's a noticeable drawback in my user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social simplifies social media management, aiding in ADA compliance with alt text and captions, automating posting across platforms. It streamlines reporting, enabling quick comparative analyses and reducing time spent on manual updates.
Powerful Publishing Tools, But High Cost Limits Team Access
What do you like best about the product?
My favourite aspect of Sprout Social has been the publishing feature itself. I love that I can customize the post and publishing date/time to each platform. I also love being able to link campaigns and tags to the posts as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest con would be the price. I'd love to get more of our employees into Sprout Social but the cost to add users is incredibly high. If it wasn't for the fact that a company we acquired was already using this, we likely would never have considered it due to the price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since the company we acquired already used Sprout Social for the past year, it was super easy for me to go through and schedule repurposed content. It also allows us to bring in a scheduling aspect to the posts for our main company.
Intuitive Scheduling Worth the Price Tag
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social is the most intuitive scheduling platform I've used for social media.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is pricing. It's definitely the most expensive scheduling tool I've used, but the usability makes it worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social has reduced the time I take to plan and measure our social media success. As the only marketing person on my team, the time I have saved using Sprout Social has allowed me to be more efficient across other marketing channels.
Great for Multi-Channel Data, But Missing TikTok & YouTube Paid Integrations

Great Multi-Account Access, But Filtering and API Limitations Frustrate
What do you like best about the product?
There is the ability to have multiple accounts in one, im able to get access to the data i need and be updated about API changes
What do you dislike about the product?
No way to have post level API. Requires 2FA so can't share logins. Very difficult to filter out paid posts

APIs allow for automated data updates. This makes analytics a much more efficient process to pull data out and put into reporting
Organized Social Media with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Sprout Social helps me stay organized as a one-person social media team, making reporting easier with all data consolidated in one place. I appreciate the schedule timing suggestion feature, which aids in optimizing post times. The AI-generated alt text for photos is incredibly helpful, streamlining my content creation process. I find the ability to categorize posts with tags and campaigns very beneficial for reporting purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it frustrating that important features like tagging and categorizing posts into campaigns for reports are not available in the lower-tier versions of Sprout Social. This limitation makes it harder for smaller organizations or individuals who might be on a budget to take full advantage of the platform's capabilities. Additionally, the lack of a search feature to look up past content on the social calendar is a significant drawback. For instance, when I wanted to refer back to a previous post's caption for a Halloween event for my school, I couldn't find it and had to start from scratch, which was time-consuming and inefficient.

As a solo social media manager, Sprout Social helps me stay organized and simplifies reporting by consolidating data in one place.
Super Intuitive and Easy to Use, Minor Issues Aside
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and very intuitive. I didn't need any special training to get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is very easy to use. The only issue is that it occasionally has to disconnect our accounts for verification. It seems to be fairly frequent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it easier for our team to schedule multiple posts at a time and also track our results across multiple platforms.

I primarily use Sprout Social for its scheduling and analytics features, and I've been very satisfied with both. Honestly, the only thing I don't like about Sprout Social is that Reddit is not included as a platform, they should definitely add that in!

Sprout is solving how to integrate themselves into manager's social plans and it has been beneficial for me when I schedule my own content and need to pull analytics for social content.
Effortless Social Management with Outstanding Support
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social has been a great tool that i use weekly. It is easy to use, and saves so much time being able to post to all social platforms in one place. Customer support has always been helpful and answer all questions in a timely manner. My workplace has used Sprout Social for 5+ years and will continue to use it for many more!
What do you dislike about the product?
I have yet to find what i dislike about Sprout Social, no complaints!
