Sprout Social is a Social Media Marketer's Best Friend
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social is hands down the best platform I've used for scheduling, publishing, and monitoring social media content. My favorite aspect is that when scheduling content, I am able to see on a digital calendar which days I've already scheduled posts for (via a small green dot). This may sound like a minor feature, but it's extremely handy when trying to create content for every day of the week. We've had issues with other similar platforms having glitches, but so far, I've had no issues with Sprout. Monitoring is a breeze, and I can easily check (or uncheck) which social networks I want to see responses and messages from. We also have keywords entered into the system, therefore we can monitor what users are saying about us across the full spectrum of social media networks. The social analytic reports are helpful, and I no longer have to enter analytics into a spreadsheet by hand.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that comes to mind. I've been pleased with all aspects of Sprout.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With other similar platforms, we've had issues of "double posting" because of their layouts. I don't believe we have had that happen once since using Sprout. One of the major benefits is just constantly being aware of what everyone is saying about us. I'm constantly refreshing the "messages" stream throughout the workday, so I can stay aware of public opinion. Essentially, Sprout has made it easier to not "miss" any important criticisms or praises from the public.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sprout is a great necessity for those looking to stay on top of their social media "game." I would definitely recommend sprout to all businesses who want to be a step ahead in the social media sphere.
Saves immense amount of time by combining most social media into one interface
What do you like best about the product?
My job is a thousand times easier because of Sprout's ability to schedule posts across social media accounts, in advance, and to see notifications, mentions, and messages in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would really like better integration with Instagram, including the ability to actually make and schedule Instagram posts through Sprout as I am able for the other social media accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout saves us incredible amounts of time, and makes it much easier to plan social media strategy.
It's good, but the reporting tools could be better
What do you like best about the product?
It's SUPER easy to schedule out on there and I love that you can have multiple accounts for each social channel.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't like the reporting features. In my opinion, their reporting is extremely inaccurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's super easy to schedule out as well as see when people are "speaking" to you. I also love that if multiple people are using the sprout accounts, you can see when someone else answered so you don't do it twice! It definitely makes it easier.
Great for audits and generating reports
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use that comes with the software. All reports that are generated provide useful information that is very helpful for clients. The search functions are very powerful and can search through tons of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that when I was scheduling a post that I could tag a person or organization for a post in the queue. I also dislike that I am not able to track the metrics of a Hashtag the same way I can track the metrics of a twitter handle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We help address our clients communications problems. We find what is working, what doesn't and rework their messaging strategies to better represent who they are and what they do. A tool like Sprout Social is essential for any communications consulting/ strategy firms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sprout Social's capabilities are close to what the super expensive tools can do but are extremely more cost effective.
Sprout Social - makes things simple and easy!
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the capability to schedule identical posts for numerous days at one time. They are identical, so there's no reason I should need to create separate posts for them, so I really appreciate that. I also enjoy how you can edit the title of the link; sometimes you need to add in punctuation. It makes it seamless to post across multiple platforms at one time, also.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have a few times pressed 'schedule' or 'send' and then it simply disappears (doesn't schedule or go anywhere) so I have to re-create the post. The hyperlinks never show up properly on Twitter, too. (they just simple don't display; just the text does)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media scheduling / content creation
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Allow links to transfer over to Twitter better and make sure no posts go 'poof' and disappear after you've spent some time crafting the verbiage, set up the link, scheduled for the right time(s), etc.
Solid social media platform
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to schedule and manage content. Publishing was straightforward and scheduling across social platforms was convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could improve on analytics and reporting, but I think that's the industry in general. I think the employee tool could also be improved from an analytics perspective
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps to organize and schedule our content in one place. A good birds eye view of what is scheduled so we can plan accordingly.
Top Contender Monitoring Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I have used other monitoring tools and after using Sprout Social i felt the huge differences.
What do you dislike about the product?
Till date i have not figure out dislike of this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using this tool to get various reports for my clients.

Love Love Love
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can have so many different accounts hooked up to sprout. It really is easy to manage and I also love the stats it provides me. Super helpful when creating a report. We also have a lot of different types of accounts as far as instagram, Facebook, multiple twitter accounts, and what is nice is that I can manage it all in one place on sprout!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that I could tag Facebook pages from Sprout. The feature exist but doesn't always work very well and I feel that it could use an update. I also wish that the analytics provided were more accurate. Sometimes I can't get analytics on all of my accounts and it makes creating reports a bit more difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem that it takes way too much time to go into each social media platform one by one and send out the content we need to. The benefits are obviously that I can send everything from one place!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have more than 3 social media accounts you need to manage I highly recommend getting sprout!
Great tool and getting better, but still falls short in some areas
What do you like best about the product?
The best feature of Sprout Social is their Smart Inbox. It easily allows you to respond to all of the comments, retweets, follows, etc. that you receive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the calendar view was more functional (like drag and drop rescheduling). I also wish their queue could be per day rather than one large queue. Saved replies would be a great additional feature as well. And integration with Facebook boosting and ads would be cool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having all of your social networks and their functions integrated into one tool saves a lot of time over going to each individual networks native site/app to manage. It also allows us to work better as a team.
Keeps everything organized!
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout is such a clear user interface and it helps keep all the spheres of your online presence organized and up to date so you can listen and respond with the best context and as quickly as is needed these days.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is more of an issue with Instagram and not Sprout, but I wish private messages from Insta could be added to the Sprout queue.

It helped us improve our customer experience efforts and truly connect with our customers wherever they are!
