Using Sprout Social for Powerful Social Media Analytics

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoyed the visuals involved in reporting. My team was able to take data and show it to clients in a way that was aesthetic and easy to read.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the time when I used sprout, I don't think there was a robust "share of voice" widget that we could monitor and share with clients. This is an important aspect of my work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest business problem was being able to share ROI on social media content, so we learned that click-through rates were very important to clients, more so than follower acquisition.

Easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout social is easy to use. Coming from someone who has never used the platform, it was easy to pick up on and figure out how to work. The best part about it is that I was able to get great analytics!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that you cannot schedule on Instagram without going into the app. This is more of Instagrams fault, but it's inconvenient. I also don't like how Sprout doesn't measure sentiment
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can pull analytics for clients who ask for more in-depth explanations as to why certain campaigns worked, and others didn't
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great platform to measure analytics!

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to schedule posts on Sprout, how the reporting is easy to export and send to clients with great readability, and how you can pull in keywords to find mentions of your brand.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main thing I dislike about Sprout Social is that it doesn't pull in sentiment analysis in reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving problems regarding efficiently engaging with users and scheduling future posts.

Simple, easy tool

What do you like best about the product?
Our social media team uses this tool to plan, manage and reporting on our social campaigns. It is very user-friendly and provides great, clean reports that are easy to read even for the greenest clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
We wish you could schedule Instagram, but this isn't their fault!

What do you like best about the product?
Workflow for monitoring and engagement, reporting features are really nice, RSS integration for creating new posts, historical analysis of profiles
What do you dislike about the product?
We have an enterprise account with multiple large units connected. The SmartInbox does not separate completed messages within our internal silos. If we mark something complete, it marks it complete for other groups. This is not always helpful because of how our human resources are structured.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to distribute content and monitor user engagement well, gauge the effectiveness of past posts and campaigns

Easy to Use but Nothing Special

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social is a great software for scheduling posts on social media. However, there isn't anything about it that stands out compared to other similar softwares (such as Hoot Suite). It gets the job done.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not seminars/webinars or anything to help users learn to use the software more effectively. It would be helpful if I could learn about more of the other features by someone teaching me rather than me just messing around with different tabs and areas of the website. I'm sure that Sprout offers more than I realize, I just don't know what all it can do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This software saves time. By being able to sit down and schedule all of the social media posts at one time in on place, I don't have to worry about it through out the day or week. It seems simple, but by not having to think about social media every couple hours I am able to focus on other important tasks and accomplish more in other areas.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for managing multiple platforms and pages at once.

What do you like best about the product?
Very user friendly and easy to navigate as well as train on.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some hiccups in the technical department every now and then but the support team is very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This solution gives our team the ability to manage all clients in one place and counts down on the hassle of logging in and out, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
First of all, I love the transparency of their pricing...social media managers are busy enough and having to sit through a demo just to find out whether the tool fits in budget just doesn't work. So I appreciate that Sprout is up front about their pricing and that was a big reason I chose the platform, as the functionality is pretty standard across social media management platforms. The support is also really good, with great documentation--another time saver so I don't have to spend time training people myself.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I wish Sprout would add is the ability for images to auto-populate from Twitter, which other platforms offer. It's a pain to have to manually add images for Twitter posts. Also, while I don't dislike the Smart Inbox, I think it could be improved with capabilities to mute certain spam accounts, select multiple messages to either delete or archive, and more advanced "save" or archive features so I don't have to just bootleg the Tasks feature for that purpose.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralizing social media management and reporting; communal image library; workflow; social media listening. Has helped us improve collaboration and communication across the org and saves time.

Definitely recommend Sprout

Excellent Platform for Social Media Management and Social Listening

What do you like best about the product?
Beyond its ease of use and easy set up, they make it extremely easy to manage all of your social media channels in one place. In addition, the reporting is in depth and included with even the smallest package. To make it even more amazing, their support team is insanely fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest issue I've run into with Sprout Social is that it occasionally will not post scheduled items to Facebook. Also - they don't allows to boost Facebook posts within Sprout, requiring users to visit Facebook anyway. I often just schedule posts within FB itself bc of this issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increased presence and reach on social media, social customer care, social listening, content promotion.
