Excellent User Experience
What do you like best about the product?
The task assignments and reports are the best features by far. I am not a huge fan of scheduling bulk content on social, but Sprout Social has SO many options for organizing content and tagging outbound/inbound content for organizational purposes. It just has everything we need, and the relationship manager is a great resource for training customer service reps who have no social media experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I really dislike about Sprout Social is that sometimes task emails don't go through - and don't even go into Spam. But, their team is excellent about resolving issues usually within 24 hours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to streamline our customer experience efforts on social media and use our people so much more effectively. We are finally able to scale our efforts and become a company our customers expect us to be. We also are able to track major conversations about our brand on social media with so much ease. Executives don't have time to wait for data, and this allows us to send reports practically immediately. Manual insight tracking is a thing of the past.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Work with an account manager to get you to the right solution for your brand or company. We ended up going with a larger plan than we expected, but ultimately it is the perfect choice for our company and goals. We wouldn't have known this if it weren't for our relationship manager.
One of the best social media scheduling tools
What do you like best about the product?
Its design, user-friendliness. Features are great, too.
What do you dislike about the product?
They should implement LinkedIN report, as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social media posting over a longer period of time. Freeing up my timetable for more critical tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Test it, talk to the consultants & then decide if it is the right tool for your company. But from my personal experience, it works just fine.
Best out there for Scheduling, Analytics and Resources!
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout is a great tool and have switched two companies I have worked for to use Sprout over Hootsuite and other competitor services. The list of functions and services I like best are: responsive and knowledgeable account reps, webinars and blog resources, the ability to schedule evergreen messages repeatedly, and the visual aspect of the calendar and the charts and graphs for presentations. The unlimited reporting and the stats that are measured too are on point and great for presentations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that it measured sentiment and could give more specific results from event hashtags you are trying to track during and post-event. But neither is a big negative in the scheme of things. Measuring stats for LinkedIn within Sprout would be an added bonus too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to manage scheduling and analytics in one platform is a big advantage. A lot of companies don't do both or don't do both well. The price point is very fair for the level of service and product that is offered.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sign up for the free trial. It really is no strings attached and is a great selling point. Tune into their blog and some of their webinars as well. I always have something new to takeaway and really shows they are on the cutting edge of staying up on social trends which are always changing.
Tool is great for more than just social posting
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can connect to multiple social media accounts. They are constantly improving their site and always adding new features which is something that you always want to see with a solution.
I really like their mobile app as well. We constantly have people onsite at events and need to give different people access to our accounts to post, but don't want to give our actual login for the platforms themselves so we share our sprout login. Through the app they can see all our social media feeds and easily post and share. It eliminates the possibility to accidentally post something from the company page that they meant to have on their personal account.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would love more options from Linkedin and instagram. I know these limitations are probably with the providers, but it would be great to have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
social media automation, social media monitoring, social scheduling and team posting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
One of the best tools out there. While some people may choose to go with their larger competitors, I like the feel that they are a smaller company that is really working to provide the best solution for their customers.
Sprout is great!!
What do you like best about the product?
-all of the activity your pages receive is filtered into one Smart Inbox - this is brilliant! makes responding to followers super simple!
-the new addition of the calendar layout when reviewing your scheduled posts - helps you get a visual of the times your posting your content
-the reports are brilliant - so easy to use and fun to look at. This makes reporting to upper management really easy!

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know if these things are even possible on other social media management platforms, but these are thing I dislike but hope to see Sprout have in the future!
-the inability to schedule photos into specific albums
-the inability to see a preview of exactly what the post will look like on the desktop site (this is available through their app, it's just not ideal to switch between the two to double check the look of your post)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
-less time is spent bouncing between platforms scheduling posts on Facebook and remembering to tweet at the same time (as we did not have the option to schedule tweets)
-responding to follwers is also quick and easy
-sprout can show you the history you've had with said follower - makes recalling past conversations so smooth
-we're connecting with our members

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use Sprout Social! It makes managing multiple platforms simple by allowing you to schedule, post, and follow up on users. It also creates an ability to find new users and search by topics so you can find new followers/topics to keep up with. The reports work very well for what we need (if we needed more, we could have purchased the next level up, but didn't feel we were at that point quite yet) and the support is excellent! My calls have been answered very quickly and the customer service team is awesome and extremely helpful!
Long-time fan that's still getting big-time value
What do you like best about the product?
I like the support the best, and the sense of community that Sprout Social has built around its product. The tool itself has many excellent features, too, but I get into them in other parts of this review.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the single-screen workflow can be cumbersome and add extra clicks, like when you're trying to interact with a combination of searches, feeds, and users at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social primarily as a Twitter client for myself. On Twitter, my goals are to locate users who are influential on topics (or around events I'm attending) and build my own influence around those topics and events. Sprout Social gets me where I need to be, by piecing together saved searches, brand keywords, task management, and obviously great publishing tools. The new reports clearly show the impact of my work, and if I were reporting to a client, they would also be able to easily see the value we're getting from this tool.
Recommandations à d’autres personnes envisageant the product:
Ne pas hésiter à contacter leur service d'assistance - très utile - désireux d'aider.
Easy to Use and Valuable Tool
What do you like best about the product?
We have been Sprout users for more than ten years and over that time the platform has evolved with the fast-moving sector in which we work to become one of our business's most valuable social marketing tools.
We use Automated Rules and Tags extensively for all sorts of purposes. Sentiment is one. We can break out more than simply positive or negative. We can use certain phrases and syntax to determine ambivalence as well. We also need to keep a check on and at times be alerted to many forms of bigotry, xenophobia and defamatory or disrespectful language.
Considering the volume and velocity of comments coming in on our multiple social profiles, we use the Smart InBox and its features to monitor and moderate in near real-time.
Scheduling posts is easy and exceptionally efficient when using location targeting and promoting posts. With our Ad Accounts added to Sprout, we can promote posts without having to jump in and out of Business Manager.
The reporting tools are fabulous. And they constantly introduce useful features.

What do you dislike about the product?
There's very little I dislike but one thing missing is the ability to use the automated inbox rules to tag comments using certain multiple emojis and/or combinations of emojis. (I know we can search the inbox for emojis and we do but to automatically tag some would be very useful). It would be equally as useful to be able to tag certain reactions too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have resolved many potentially volatile issues by using Automated Rules and Alerts. For example, a lot of our posts can be about people with a celebrity or public profile and people commenting can be cruel, troll-like, or even potentially defamatory so by using rules set to hide, tag, flag, alert and escalate we can address issues before they become a problem.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Load as many of your accounts' social profiles as possible to start with so that analytics begin earlyand remember to set up Groups
Good tool for managing Twitter accounts
What do you like best about the product?
The single mailbox where all the content I need to pay attention to is aggregated. It is much more user friendly than the messy interface in Hootsuite which I've never enjoyed working with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very pircey if you have multiple admins you'de like to add. Even with the cheapest plan, 10 admins will cost you $390 a month, definitely not a small business budget.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you only need one account, go try it.
