My fave social media management platform!

  • June 27, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the user interface and how easy Sprout Social is to use. I use the app and the desktop versions every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
If I could change one thing it would be the way the messages work - it would be great to change oldest to newest and back. Also, I don't like the way you can't scroll through in the incoming messages maybe I'm missing a feature there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm saving time by using Sprout Social and I'm more efficient. It helps me manage client work and get a ton of work done every day.

Simple and Scalable

  • June 27, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really love how simple the UI is with Sprout Social. The simplicity allows you to concentrate on exactly what needs to be done, and by whom. The Smart Inbox feature allows a team of 2 to 2000 keep track of engagements and interactions. The scheduling features help any sized team manage outgoing messages, making sure not to over share during certain times or remain silent at other times.
As your team grows, you can set permissions to help your social staff learn best sharing practices. You'll never have to worry that you'll end up on a BuzzFeed article for worst social fails ever because of rogue social agents. :)
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a pain during live event management. Other social management systems display your feeds on one big flow. While that is handy during live events, it can be cluttered during day to day management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multiple teams with multiple audiences. Sprout helps us monitor, engage, and measure everything across the board.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out for free. Even if you try it out with your personal, not company, profile, you'll be able to decide why you should use it.

Solid mid-level social media tool

  • June 23, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Overall this is a great tool for small to mid-size companies that need good social media management - both publishing and analytical. With the ability to manage various brand channels, schedule content and see both engagement and demographic numbers, it is a valuable tool that doesn't break the budget.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it should update in real-time, it it can often be delayed up to 5 or more minutes. Additionally, if you are used to enterprise tools you will find the analytics to be lacking. Plus, any searches are keyword based, not a robust NLP program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Schedule weekly posts, monitor competitor conversations and issues, gain insights on customers and audience.

Features are frequently being updated, built in reporting is excellent, and team management is a breeze
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is a little high for teams on limited budgets
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage a team of content managers & creators, and Sprout Social has allowed me excellent oversight + the tools for my team to stay on top of our social presence.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take time to learn all of the tools. Once you dig into the features, you'll see that Sprout Social is a really powerful suite.

I love Sprout Social's Facebook and Twitter report features. The report dashboard gives everything you would need to know in one glance.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I really dislike. Everything is pretty streamline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using the software to report out social media metrics.

Social Media Management an Ease With Sprout Social.

  • June 15, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can post content directly from the platform to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. It makes commenting, sharing, and overall management super easy and effective! The Sprout Social Chrome extension also makes bookmarking content/articles very simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really wish there was some paid ads integration. Our team manages both organic and paid social media and it'd be great to manage both in the platform, however I understand Facebook has strict API rules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving the problem of simplifying our social media management process. It has become much easier to manage tasks and keep everything organized in one single portal.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're handling multiple clients across multiple social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.), I'd recommend using this product. It really simplifies social media management and the reports are excellent too!

Love Sprout Social !

  • June 14, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Used Sprout for 5+ years as a social media manager/strategist and definitely think it boasts the best reporting, scheduling and user-friendly interface in the space.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish it was easier to view multiple feeds (like in Hootsuite). Also wish we could see whether or not images are optimized for each platform. Wish we could export reports as Power Points so we could edit or ad information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As social media manager for an international SaaS company, I need to be able to delegate tasks effectively 24/7. The smart inbox allows me to assign tasks to our sales team, support team and field marketers effectively and leave an easy-to-follow paper trail showing who is responsible for what task.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely consider using Sprout if

Sprout Social Solid For Beginners

  • June 14, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social is a nice social media and community management tool for any company that is looking to manage their social media platforms across all channels. From Facebook to Twitter, the application does a really good job of allowing users to manage and track keywords relevant to their business.
What do you dislike about the product?
The keyword tracking system is a little clumsy and could use improvement. There's also not really an option for managing Facebook or Twitter campaigns, which is a little disappointing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to manage multiple platforms and profiles within one app is very useful and it helps save time when it comes to scheduling content posts for the week or month, depending on the content schedule that a company operates under.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would suggest using SproutSocial if you are specifically looking for community management from a social media standpoint. It works well and even though it is not necessarily the end all for solutions, you can do much, much worse.

Great for Social Media Marketing Managers!

  • June 13, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I'm a Social Media Department of one and this platform allows me to get both a macro and micro analysis of my platforms. It's easy to export all of the information and even tells me my highest performers (in terms of engagement, social interaction) which plays perfectly into my social giveaway programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to queue videos for Facebook and Twitter. I can do it directly on Facebook's publishing platform, but Twitter doesn't let you queue posts so I have to post it at the exact time I want it to go out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Platform management, engagement strategy, macro growth
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do the 30 day trial, utilize as much as the platform as you can, and then attempt to back to your old platform. If it seems painful, that's because it is. For any beginners, small companies, or small departments, this platform lays out all of the information you need to not only get a handle on your channels, but excel in growing them.

Stellar Social Media Management Tool

  • June 12, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social is well-thought out, continually planned, feature-rich, and it works in convenient ways to do exactly what it's suppose to do. It's always solid, and their team is forward-thinking, considering how the tool will work into the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would not use the word dislike. If you've used other social media management dashboards, there is some learning curve at first. But that would be true in any circumstance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Smart Inbox helps me save time and be more efficient in responding to others on social networks. Further, the ability to monitor key words works very well!

I love being able to schedule green messages in bulk at one time for a number of months giving me more time to engage with client followers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The reporting features with Sprout Social are awesome! The reports alone make the tool worth the price of admission. But you'll love the other features -- The future looks bright having peeked under the hood of future releases. :)
