Very helpful for a small business

What do you like best about the product?
This makes it easy to schedule posts so I can seem like I'm always up to date on my content even when I have a busy day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, this is really easy and I have found it to be very beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time! I don't have to be on social media all the time and I can devote time to other projects.

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout's inbox is perfect for social media monitoring. Scheduling is robust. They constantly update and keep it filled with features, and great customer service.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love to see them rip off some features from some of the other scheduling platforms out there... but the needs are minimal. They do a great job of staying up to date and fully featured.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficiency in social media monitoring via the dashboard

Good Tools, but poor in data visualization

What do you like best about the product?
It helped me a lot in automating and sppeding up huge ammount of data analysis. It's very good to perform quantitative task, and get fasly a good overview of your social channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very helpfull in data visualization and reporting. I often had to extract data on CSV and re-elaborate outputs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to monitor social media for a multinational company in the cosemetics field. I used Sprout Social to monitor KPI about engagement and to gain strategic info for our social media plan.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As with many other tools, it is good for quantitative and ripetitive tasks, but it is not a social media/business intelligence tools, and it requires anyway the keen eye of a skilled analyst.

Fab versatile software!

What do you like best about the product?
Scheduling posts on platforms means more engagement and being able to respond directly to users using 1 software keeps everything together, considering I use 7 different social medias - nothing gets missed.
What do you dislike about the product?
mobile app is clunky
have to keep logging in on mobile & desktop if you have used another device
Responding to FB messages does improve FB response % or time taken on page
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
scheduling and tracking mentions where we arent properly tagged i.e. location set and user not tagged
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Lots of little features on the system, that you don't even realise you need, but when you sign up, you can't live without them!

What do you like best about the product?
Visual reports are easy to understand. I can export reports and send to others in our organization and hardly have to explain what it's saying.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is a little steep for a newsroom. We're on a grandfathered plan since we've been customers for some time, but the normal pricing would have priced us out of it. By nature, we have to monitor a lot of different pages on different social networks. I feel limited by our plan because I still don't have enough space for all social profiles in our newsroom, but we can't afford to add on to what we already have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helped me monitor Twitter mentions (direct and indirect) and respond to crises earlier than I typically would.

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that you can see all your social networks in one place. That you can add a future task to post and it is automated to do so.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile interface is a bit cumbersome to navigate to add all the details and parameters needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to keep atop of social interaction of our company in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
The reporting is awesome. Its a one-stop shop to pull all the rports
What do you dislike about the product?
that I still have to use facebook to schedule facebook. I know you can schedule FB in sprout, but it doesn't work as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving time by doing most of the my scheduling and reporting rom sprout
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take it for a test drive. Schedule some posts in all platforms. While you have the test version check out the reporting

What do you dislike about the product?
There's honestly nothing I don't like about Sprout Social. I love it all!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to manage multiple clients' social media networks by monitoring their social networks, scheduling and posting content and tracking important analytics.

I highly recommend Sprout Social to anyone who is managing social media for a business.

Streamlined, Efficient, and Central to What We Do!

What do you like best about the product?
User friendly, efficient, clean layout. This product is simple to use and reduces the amount of time spent switching between different applications and their native layouts. As an agency, this allows us to file all of our clients into folders for their own company, keeping all accounts separate.
What do you dislike about the product?
No export feature for publishing calendar, which is just about the only thing I can fault them for right now. I am told a solution is on the way, but it's unclear when it will be done. This is frustrating for me because some of our clients need to see our publishing calendar for the next week and approve it, which they can't do since they are not Sprout users themselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout enables us to generate reports for our clients that clearly demonstrate the effects of our social media campaigns without having to switch between native applications. As a small agency, we manage accounts for a number of clients, and Sprout makes it simple to switch between these clients throughout the day to check on their accounts, making my workflow as social media specialist streamlined and easy. The reports Sprout generates show all the information our clients are interested in with a presentation ready format, and on top of all of that, Sprout support is incredibly responsive and helpful whenever there's an issue. We get answers when we need them, which is incredibly valuable in a fast-paced setting like social media.

Easy social publishing

What do you like best about the product?
Enjoy the easy-to-use user interface. I can toggle between my feeds, my different accounts very easily. Very nice PDF reports. There's a well-designed dashboard when you log in that shows response rate, new followers, demographics of your followers, your engagements, recent followers and more. You can assign tasks to teammates, which is a feature I haven't used myself but seems great for teams where multiple people handle the same account. Your messages are all in one tab, then your tasks (again, I don't use this tab much at all), your feeds, a publishing tab (where you could see what has been scheduled), a discovery tab to find new followers, and then your reports. I also use the built in link shortener all the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't tag people on Twitter in photos and always have to go to the desktop for that. Reports don't show me month-over-month changes, so I have to figure out those myself. I also prefer to login to the desktop version of Twitter if I am participating in a Twitter chat or live-tweeting an event. It's just easier to follow that way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to monitor and publish on more than a dozen social feeds and with a team of about a half dozen. Want to be able to easily go back and forth between multiple accounts in one interface. Also want to be able to schedule out Twieets, and this platform makes that easy. The final thing we use this for is monitoring and reporting. The analytics included are pretty robust.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a trial run. Overall I recommend but different teams have different needs.
