mixed reliability, repeated 2 factor authentication login problems, better than Hootsuite/Tweetdeck
What do you like best about the product?
browser extension posting and reporting functions
What do you dislike about the product?
many of the interfaces are not user friendly, 2 factor authentication had been repeatedly problematic and customer service was mediocre

I post to social media. This question is confusing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
cost per new user is high so make sure the posting/reporting/monitoring functions are a key part of strategy before investing
Sprout Social Review
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Sprout Social has an easy to read dashboard, and features that allow you to compare your page to other similar social media pages. It helps measure performance - an extremely helpful too to social media managers!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only feature that I dislike is the scheduling for Instagram - although, there is not currently a system on the market that allows scheduling sites to publish on behalf of the scheduler. This is more an improvement I would suggest for Instagram rather than Sprout Social. Sprout Social is much better than Hoot-suite in my opinion because you open directly to your performance!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are consistently increasing engagement and reach through utilizing Sprout Social.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I love that you immediately open up to the analytics. Perhaps, tips on how to increase engagement. The only problem I find when using the scheduler is that my engagement is low, because I am not enter-acting as much live with other users as I would when I schedule. That might be user error, but engagement tips or a way to engage with other pages would be nice.
Sprout Social is THE platform for social media marketers
What do you like best about the product?
I can't say enough positive things about Sprout. Their customer service is excellent - they truly show they care about their clients - and the service they provide is par to none. I use it daily as a social media marketer and it makes my job a heckuva lot easier considering I have to monitor upwards of 10 separate social platforms constantly. They're also constantly thinking of ways of making my job even EASIER, like with a workaround to "schedule" posts on Instagram. I feel like I can contact my personal account manager at any time to ask any question and I know I'll receive a reply within a few hours, which is wonderful, especially if I'm having an issue with my account.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to say there's really anything to dislike - if I had to choose one thing, I would say the inability to ACTUALLY pre-schedule posts to Instagram, but I know that's not a Sprout issue. I will admit there have been a handful of times that I've gotten an email notification to let me know one of my pre-scheduled posts did not actually successfully post, which has been frustrating -- however, those times are few and far between.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The reporting and analytics that allow me to compare our own accounts to competitor accounts are extremely beneficial to show how often we're posting in comparison.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a program in which you can easily manage, post for and analyze multiple social platforms from one place, I can't recommend Sprout Social more.
Sprout has been so advanced and revolutionary for us.
What do you like best about the product?
Definitely the smart inbox rocks the most.
I also think thats the dashboard is a very nice overview.
I can also manage my staff members and incentivize them with time in order to reply quicker to my clients and meet their needs.
When reporting, instead of wasting time recreating reports, with Sprout I can simply export what i need and send to client, its visual and amazing for them to understand

What do you dislike about the product?
Very little, could needs deeper insights. I think I would also like to see a better relationship with Instagram that allowed scheduling without using an app. I mean Sprout allows you to use filters and edit etc so the app seems redundant and a waste of time at this stage.

Time management and efficiency. Its been an absolute game changer

Stop wasting time on anything other than sprout, sprout is ahead of the game in every way.

What do you like best about the product?
I've had sprout for a few years now and, at the start, you could connect a few social platforms. Now it's added lots more it's a lot better. For me, being able to track engagement on social is key. That, and scheduling social media posts in an easy way.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see more social listening tools available on there. Sentiment and other things.

Fantastic for SMBs & Agencies
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout's Smart Inbox makes managing multiple channels in one "stream" extremely simple. For anyone managing the "key" social channels out there (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), it's perfect. Additionally, their mobile app is fantastic. Since social media management is such a 24/7 job, being able to do virtually everything you can do in the web app while on the go is huge.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting looks great aesthetically, but it is fairly surface level. We have to utilize another tool to provide more in-depth analytics to our larger clientele. Social listening reporting for Twitter is also bundled with the more expensive Team plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're an agency, so for us efficiency is everything. Sprout's scheduling features are really solid and their interface is as intuitive as it gets. The mobile app makes social media management extremely easy, particularly when on the go. And, while reporting isn't extremely in-depth, it's professional and offers enough actionable insight to be valuable.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a clean, easy to use, interface and a tool that works well with the major social networks, Sprout should be a consideration. Reporting is a weak point in my opinion, but to improve upon it, you're either spending an inordinate amount of time manually creating reports in Excel or you're spending an addition couple hundred dollars a month on another solution.

I wish hashtags could populate themselves in the Twitter compose section.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can pre-plan my social media posts for when I'm on vacation, busy, etc.
People great, functionality not quite as good
What do you like best about the product?
The personal help and support from the team, no matter what the question. Love that when I was upset to lose the FB reach when they did an upgrade, they did a twiddle so I could still get it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search function doesn't work particularly well - I often can't find something in Sprout, then I go to Twitter and it's really easy to find

Saves me a load of time in managing messages and in scheduling messages across multiple social platforms. I like the reports too.
Love Sprout
What do you like best about the product?
This product has made my life as a social media manager for a major brand so much more efficient. Publishing, social listening and pulling analytics reports are all simple. Our business was an early adopter and have never looked back.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout has done some great work making continual improvements. If there was any criticisms I have, it would be that it remains difficult to tag other brands when scheduling posts on G+, FB and Instagram.

Producing easy to understand graphs of analytics for upper management, social listening on a budget. I have recommended this product to colleagues because at this price point, Sprout is the best product on the market.
