What do you like best about the product?
I used sprout social to post on multiple accounts without having to log in and out all the time. So it was great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything about it. Its a great multitasking tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a social media coordinator, I am in charge of all accounts for all clients so this allows me to plan out tweet and facebook posts weeks in advance.

ALMOST perfect

What do you like best about the product?
We can manage multiple accounts all in one place, and everything works seamlessly together.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are restrictions based on APIs, but it would be great if they could try to come up with a way to work around these things (only uploading 3mb gifs for Twitter is a rather large pain).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can extremely easily check messages across all of our accounts and the reporting tools are very comprehensive. We are able to take this reporting and turn it into displays of ROI to our clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Continue keeping this as up-to-date as you are! We appreciate the updates to the platform.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I'm able to see all of my clients' profiles from the drop down and see the preview without clicking on them. It's simple to use. I've only used this for a month but I don't have any issues with it so far!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's none that I've noticed so I like it so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to access all of the profiles that I manage without having to log into each one individually.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend if you manage more than 2 accounts.

User Friendly management software

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Sprout makes it easy to engage on social media platforms. It makes conversations easier to keep track of. The reports are also easy to read and the dashboard offers great information. It's also great for scheduling posts and the graphic editor is also useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the response tab takes you to another page. I wish it was all on one page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to manage all the social media platforms in one place is truly a benefit.

Great for Social Media Reporting

  • April 03, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the variety of the reports and how visual they are. They are beautiful and simple to add into presentations. The data is easy to comprehend. I like how easy it is to review incoming messaging across all of my groups (clients) and that you can incorporate keywords into your search. I also think it's super easy to engage/ respond to those who engage with my brands.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that public Facebook accounts and Instagram accounts were in the Feeds sections for brands. I also wish that you could schedule multiple posts in one day without having to leave the publication screen. It would be great to be able to CSV document with posts with dates and times that you could then edit and add graphics to once it was uploaded. I wish that within the Calendar view, you could move posts around. Scheduling posts is my least favorite part of the job, so anything you can do to make it more streamlined / less tedious would be great!

It would also be great to be able to click into reports (line graphs, peak graphs, etc.) and be able to see the post that caused that peak, that would be great.

It would be great to be able to share out content from other pages/parters outside of Twitter from within the platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are always looking to see what others are saying about each of the brands we work for. We are also trying to improve our visibility. A big part of that is publication and scheduling content. Whatever ways you can improve methods to schedule content and listen to /engage with people across varying platforms, the better.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's great for smaller agency's who can't afford really complex tools but is able to provide the same content and capability overall.

Great platform for managing social media

  • April 03, 2017
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to post to all social media platforms from one place
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be good to have a system that suggests posts based on the industry you're in
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By being able to schedule posts I am solving the problem of having to login to each social media platform and post at a time that isn't right for me. It means that I can plan our social media and not repeat things. I also use Sprout to do social media reports which gives a great summary to compare each month. This is something that would normally take me a long time to do but Sprout just puts it all into one document at a click of a button. With Discovery in Sprout you can look at who you are following that hasn't posted in a while or who doesn't follow you back. This is a great way to clean up your account.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think Sprout is a great bit of software and worth subscribing to.

Love the features. Don't love the price.

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout looks good. Looks definitely aren't everything, but if I have to spend time scheduling posts and analyzing data, it's nice when the interface makes the job easy. It's easy to schedule posts on different platforms for different accounts, create reports, keep track of engagement, and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
The monthly fee hurts. It was justified when I was managing several different accounts. In the battle of Sprout Social vs Hootsuite, Sprout gets my vote when the job requires posting on different social media platforms for different clients. I am now working for just one company, and Hootsuite fits that bill. There are a variety of pricing tiers (I believe the lowest is $60/month), but they all come with a free trial so you can test it out to make sure it's worth the cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can't imagine working with social media without the organization that comes from Sprout or Hootsuite. The biggest benefit is saving time by scheduling posts (across different platforms) in advance. Working in advance keeps my clients focused on the big-picture goals of social media.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sprout Social's interface makes it easy to manage different platforms for different clients. A different option such as Hootsuite may be a better (cheaper) choice if you only need to manage platforms for a single client.

    Entertainment

Better than Hootsuite, not nearly as good as it could be.

What do you like best about the product?
That you can post across multiple platforms and multiple accounts with a single post mockups. And the price is reasonable.
What do you dislike about the product?
That you can not use one piece of content and create different copy for Twitter/Facebook/etc. To do that, you need to create separate posts, which kills the time-saving factor of having a service like this, BUT, you do need to create special language for Twitter (with character limits, tags, hashtags, etc.) as opposed to Facebook, in many cases. Also, you can't see a preview of how the posts will look spacially on each platform, in each viewing scenario (mobile vs. desktop, etc.). And finally, you can't schedule a post to Instagram (which other services do), only a reminder on your phone to post manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm trying to minimize how many sites I have to go to when I want to post something. I've realized very little other benefits, but it's enough for me to keep it around.
