LOVE Sprout!
What do you like best about the product?
First of all, I love the transparency of their pricing...social media managers are busy enough and having to sit through a demo just to find out whether the tool fits in budget just doesn't work. So I appreciate that Sprout is up front about their pricing and that was a big reason I chose the platform, as the functionality is pretty standard across social media management platforms. The support is also really good, with great documentation--another time saver so I don't have to spend time training people myself.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I wish Sprout would add is the ability for images to auto-populate from Twitter, which other platforms offer. It's a pain to have to manually add images for Twitter posts. Also, while I don't dislike the Smart Inbox, I think it could be improved with capabilities to mute certain spam accounts, select multiple messages to either delete or archive, and more advanced "save" or archive features so I don't have to just bootleg the Tasks feature for that purpose.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralizing social media management and reporting; communal image library; workflow; social media listening. Has helped us improve collaboration and communication across the org and saves time.

What do you like best about the product?
Beyond its ease of use and easy set up, they make it extremely easy to manage all of your social media channels in one place. In addition, the reporting is in depth and included with even the smallest package. To make it even more amazing, their support team is insanely fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest issue I've run into with Sprout Social is that it occasionally will not post scheduled items to Facebook. Also - they don't allows to boost Facebook posts within Sprout, requiring users to visit Facebook anyway. I often just schedule posts within FB itself bc of this issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increased presence and reach on social media, social customer care, social listening, content promotion.
Great Reports
What do you like best about the product?
This program has extensive reports! We use this tool in my company for Social Media Management for our clients. They LOVE the reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some reports (like engagement) can be a bit confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We struggled to show how much time and effort goes into social media management in the past. Now, we are able to show all of the work and how that engagement does pay off. It makes our lives easier to schedule posts and show our client all the benefits we give them.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the new app—it really helps me schedule, monitor posts while on the go.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we didn't have to pay to have more users access it at the same time.

It's easy to reply to customer feedback/questions/complaints/suggestions/etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely recommend this tool because it's easy to use and it provides a ton of really helpful insights to help monitor engagement on your profiles and interact with your followers. It's a lot easier to see all your pages in one window that having multiple tabs open on your computer. The app is also another cool bonus because it helps monitor and post anything while I'm out of the office.
Great for Agencies
What do you like best about the product?
Approvals and message reviewing, great and easy to understand reports
What do you dislike about the product?
The social search and listening tools aren't as easy to use as some other products. I only use the Smart Inbox feature in Sprout Social.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are streamlining the approval process on all social posts and making client reporting much easier to understand
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great platform for agencies with multiple users and accounts, especially if content has to go through an approval process.
I am a social media specialist and I use Sprout for scheduling posts and running reports.
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and accomplishes much of what I need from a social media monitoring product.
What do you dislike about the product?
You cannot find out when people are talking about your product on all social media platform and you still have to push Instagram posts manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to work ahead by scheduling posts and it allows me to monitor what people are talking about on social so I can join in when applicable.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's it very helpful for scheduling tweets, for monitoring who's talking about your brand or industry and it's easy to use it when doing social for multiple brands.
I Love Sprout!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it to schedule my content. Everything is neat and organized in a calendar format, which makes publishing my content more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really would love if Sprout made it possible to tag users in replies. Right now, I have to manually go through FB in order to be able to respond and tag users or businesses. I would also love a better way to schedule IG content – I know IG's publishing rules are tough, but the current Sprout system for scheduling doesn't save me any more time than crowdfire or latergram.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Adding or fixing these issues would save time and effort. Hassle too!
Easy, intuitive social management tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love how intuitive it is! It's reporting feature is great and visually appealing, so it's easy to pull screenshots directly from Sprout for official monthly analytics reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a select/deselect all option on the dropdown page menu in the publishing section. We manage over 100 pages and having to manually select and deselect them all is a pain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling future posts and having easy-to-read analytics has been hugely beneficial!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Not ideal if social listening is one of your top priorities, but for simply scheduling and general analytics, it is a great tool! Very intuitive and visually appealing.
Really expensive, but you get what you pay for
What do you like best about the product?
How seamless each task is. There aren't a million different tabs for each individual process. You can create, save drafts, and publish all from the same page, and having a repository of saved content is a huge plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's prohibitively expensive. I know it's supposed to be worth it, but the price is too much for smaller organizations - even ones that understand ROI
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a bank of social content ready to go is a huge benefit - it means we don't have to constantly drop everything to produce brand new content.
Great system
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social is extremely helpful when scheduling posts. It's easy to use and I always know my posts are planned appropriately.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is hard to find my already scheduled posts or posts from the past besides doing a full report.

It's made our social team much more efficient. We greatly appreciate the customer service of the Sprout Social team!
