Effortless Scheduling with Minor Content Limits

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Sprout Social because it allows me to schedule posts in advance, which is incredibly convenient for managing multiple social media accounts at the university. It helps me to easily visualize and control what content is scheduled to go out from our respective accounts. This feature ensures that all graphics and posts are timely, contributing significantly to efficient social media management. Additionally, I find the initial setup of Sprout Social to be very easy, as long as I have the account login information, making it effortless for me to continue my work without any interruptions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that sometimes there are issues with image quality and video length constraints within Sprout Social. These limitations force me to post directly from my social media accounts rather than through the platform itself. If there were fewer restrictions on image quality and video length, I would be able to be less selective about the content I'm putting out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to schedule posts at specific times, ensuring timely and organized social media output across different accounts, making it easier to manage our university's online presence.

Intuitive Platform for Managing Multiple Clients

What do you like best about the product?
I love how intuitive it is to use. I like being able to manage multiple client accounts and platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't like that you can't batch send posts for client approvals. It's a big waste of time to have to go into every single post and send for client approval. We share calendars in one month batches so it takes a while. Also, the mobile app functionality could be better. I also don't like that you can't comment externally unless the client has already commented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout helps us manage multiple clients social accounts and send directly to them for review and approval.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of scheduling to various platforms and being able to easily grab analytics for the marketing team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish you could schedule one post for different platform, but be able to adjust each platforms post times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s helping me cross promote our content on various platforms, so all of our content is aligned.

What do you like best about the product?
It gives super simple snapshots of social media performance, easily broken down by a variety of factors across all channels, and makes scheduling across all channels super easy too!
What do you dislike about the product?
We do occasionally get errors when trying to schedule certain posts, sometimes this can be a general error, but others it can be something along the lines of file size - but then the same files work on native upload.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s an all-in-one hub for posting and reporting, which when working in the sports broadcast industry, certainly helps efficiency

What do you like best about the product?
I find Sprout Social's new AI discovery to be insightful and useful, as it provides valuable insights despite needing further development. The signal searches feature stands out for its ability to conduct comprehensive brand analyses, which I find particularly insightful. These features enable me to compare and analyze data effectively, which adds significant value to my workflow. I appreciate the capability of Sprout Social to narrow down searches using specific hashtags and customize profiles based on campaign requirements, making these search features extremely valuable. The initial setup of Sprout Social was also quite easy, and the support from their team helped us understand and implement the software smoothly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find several aspects of Sprout Social challenging. The 'branch fit' score doesn't work effectively because it primarily pulls from the US database, which doesn't align with my focus on Canadian creators. This functionality seems to prioritize creators with a significant US audience, thus not accurately reflecting the potential fit for campaigns targeted elsewhere. Moreover, while the AI features can be insightful, they often fall short. They sometimes fail to identify niche categories or specific types of creators, like pet creators. This limitation means it often provides results from regions I am not interested in, such as the US or UK, rather than Canada. Additionally, I am disappointed by the lack of backend insight sharing for creators from platforms like Twitch, YouTube, and Snapchat, which limits my ability to fully analyze their potential. The inconsistency in AI performance and these database limitations restrict the tool's efficacy, affecting my workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to gain backend insights into influencers, audience demographics, and engagement. It helps refine our campaigns and influencer selections, providing valuable insights for analysis and improving organizational strategies.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how intuitive Sprout Social is, which greatly facilitates the management of our university's social media accounts. What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Sprout Social's ability to unify community management across all social channels with the smart inbox, which is a lifesaver for our lean team. This feature streamlines our workflow and makes managing our social presence much more manageable. The social listening capabilities of Sprout Social are invaluable for measuring our success, tracking competitors, and staying updated with industry trends. Additionally, our Customer Success Manager (CSM) is extremely helpful whenever we encounter issues, ensuring that our operations run smoothly. The setup process was very easy thanks to the assistance from the CSMs.

I find that the social media scheduled posting feature can be finicky at times, which disrupts my scheduling process.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sprout Social is constantly evolving, as they are always improving things, which means there are always new features being added. I appreciate how Sprout Social is in touch with their customers and genuinely considers what we use on a daily basis. I love using tags for organizing all of our outgoing and incoming messages, as it allows us to pull effective reports, based on our unique content and engagement strategies. This feature significantly enhances our reporting capabilities, providing valuable insights. Overall, the consistent updates and thoughtful enhancements stand out as major strengths.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that Sprout Social is limited by what the native platforms allow. For example, I would love better reporting on Instagram Reels, but I understand that it's more about Instagram's API than a shortcoming of Sprout Social itself.
