I appreciate that the setup process was straightforward, which made it easy to get started quickly. I find it valuable that Sprout Social allows me to see profile performances across all social channels and provides a weekly recap of followers and engagement metrics via email; this is very helpful in keeping track of our social media presence. The analytics provided by Sprout Social are a significant reason for our continued use of and satisfaction with the platform.

Intuitive Platform That Evolves with Social Media Needs
What do you like best about the product?
I love how intuitive it is and how much the platform has changed throughout the years (for the better). Every single feature they've added responds to a specific and timely need that all social media managers have had.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a pricey tool, and even though it is powerful, you have to invest in add-ons to get the most out of it. I also dislike the fact that their integrations are quite limited compared to other tools. They don't allow platforms like Zapier to automate integrations, which is a shame.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They allow me to manage all my customer communications from one place as well as manage every single social media platform.

I wish there was something that I didnt like! I think the one piece missing is the ability to better sort folders for larger organizations and get a clearer cut org structure.

It helps us to keep a better overall pulse on our followers and customers. It helps us to look at our content and performance in a structure that helps us to pivot towards a better direction.
User-Friendly Dashboards and Support, But Automation Needs Work

Easy navigation, organized dashboards, robust metrics, very customer care friendly
What do you dislike about the product?
automation needs improvement, more stream line method to bulk spam
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We focus on capturing consumer feedback and quality related trends. Sprout helps us resolve this with putting together multiple social profiles in one pod, narrowing down only items that are pertaining to customer care. We can then use tags to keep track of frequent topics or anything that needs immediate attention.

What do you dislike about the product?
While Sprout Social offers a wide range of features that help streamline my work, there are still a few aspects that could be improved. One issue I’ve noticed is that you can’t leave the first comment on Instagram posts directly from the platform, which can make it harder to engage with your audience right after posting. Another concern is the pricing—this might be challenging for smaller teams or organizations working with limited budgets. Although it’s a robust tool, the cost may not be feasible for everyone. Nevertheless, the platform’s overall functionality and the advantages it brings to team collaboration continue to make Sprout Social a strong option in the digital communications field.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social has addressed several major challenges I face in digital communications, and I’ve noticed a real improvement in my workflow since using it. Managing multiple social platforms, handling incoming messages, planning campaigns, and tracking performance—while keeping the team coordinated—used to be overwhelming. Sprout Social streamlines all of this by consolidating everything into a single, centralized platform. The Smart Inbox is especially helpful, allowing my team to manage messages, mentions, and comments from all platforms in one place, so we no longer have to switch between different apps. This not only saves us a significant amount of time but also ensures that nothing gets overlooked. Collaboration is much easier now, as team members can reply to messages, tag colleagues for follow-up, or schedule content together. The content calendar and scheduling features have made campaign planning much more organized and less stressful. I appreciate being able to tag campaigns, filter by those tags, and quickly locate what I need. The customizable reporting tools and reliable analytics give me confidence in the data I use to shape strategy and share results. Overall, Sprout Social has helped my team and me work more efficiently, stay organized, and improve our communication both within the team and with our audience.
Great Scheduling and Smart Inbox, But Can Get Overwhelming
What do you like best about the product?
The Compose and Scheduling of Posts, and the Smart Inbox, however, the Smart Inbox tends to get very overwhelming and hard to sort sometimes. I also like the "Customize Post Per Network" option, it's super useful when scheduling one post for different platforms, some of them need more hashtags, or links, and that makes the work more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
That everything needs to be approved, even replying to comments, or DMs... That makes frequent use a little bit more difficult to keep the ball rolling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Immediate scheduling of posts without having to go through Meta Business Suite, and gathering all performance data for easier analysis. Having most clients on the same platform helps optimize my time spent planning and scheduling posts.
Intuitive Social Media Manager with Exceptional Support
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Sprout Social for over seven years and have found it to be a top-tier social media management platform. I appreciate its intuitive navigation and user-friendly setup, which made it easy to get started and continue using. The robust and complex features are surprisingly easy to use, providing a good overall user experience. One of the standout features for me is the advanced workflows, such as the two-step approval process that allows for peer review among writers, making it highly customizable. I also love the Smart Inbox feature, which makes managing incoming social media inquiries seamless by tagging colleagues and assigning tasks. The tagging capability is incredibly useful for generating department-specific reports efficiently, a task that would be time-consuming using native social media apps alone. Additionally, I find the scheduling of reports to be a huge time saver, as it automates regular report distribution, simplifying my to-do list. The customer success managers are a valuable resource, offering strategic consulting hours that blend industry expertise with practical usage of Sprout's tools. Over the years, Sprout has consistently incorporated customer feedback into its product, making their features more aligned with our needs. This responsiveness to customer requests and continuous improvement in their product roadmap instills confidence and satisfaction in their service.
What do you dislike about the product?
{"Sprout Social lacks advanced capabilities for handling third-party reviews and business listings, making it necessary to use other platforms like reputation.com for these features.","The reporting features in Sprout Social are somewhat basic and do not allow for custom calculations, such as calculating average link clicks or video views per post. This limitation reduces the ability to tailor reports to specific needs.","Sprout Social's font sizes are small, making it difficult to read and navigate, requiring frequent zooming in the browser for better readability. The lack of font customization options is frustrating."}
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Sprout Social beneficial for managing multiple social media platforms in one space, enabling advanced approval workflows, peer reviews, and custom reporting, which saves time and enhances our productivity.
A good option, tries to upsell you on everything, customer support is bad
What do you like best about the product?
Nice to have all platforms in one place. I appreciate the smart inbox.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is high relative to the value. I do not appreciate that you have to upgrade for features like optimal scheduling time when that feature is available for free on the Meta platforms. Seems like they want to charge you for everything when this is already a fairly expensive subscription. The reps I have spoken with have not been helpful and I would say some are borderline rude. It's also annoying that there isn't a way to delegate your seat for a short term situation. For example, when I am on vacation it would be nice to be able to add a second user for a short period so they can cover for me but doing so with the 2FA is cumbersome and ultimately leads to me just giving the person covering access to the platforms directly (missed opportunity to get someone else using sprout). There are some bugs in the software that impact ease of use– sometimes I cannot schedule after writing a post out, etc. and I have to reload the page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling social media. Anything enhanced they are looking to upgrade you.
