What do you like best about the product?
i like the efficiency of it, you can do a lot of things in sprout, best app for customer service that you can use every day
What do you dislike about the product?
it could be a little slow sometimes especially if multiple people is using it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it efficiently solves the day to day social media brand problems we have like spamming of comments, resolving complaints, it made it easier for consumers to reac out to us

What do you like best about the product?
From the sales team to the product trainers to the support staff and account team, I have found everyone at Sprout Social to be customer-focused and all-around good people. They want to serve and please.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find their Listening Package limiting. They charge you a lot to create new listening topics, which has been cost-prohibitive to our company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform allows us to have a robust all-in-one system for enterprise-wide social media management. It's helping us break down silos and the platform allows us to take a more integrated approach to social media as an organization.

It was Good, Until it was Awful

What do you like best about the product?
The platform used to be a leader in the social media management space. The inbox feature was the best in the business.
What do you dislike about the product?
We were with Sprout Social for several years. When we signed up, there just wasn't anything better in my view. But over the last year we've had issue after issue with the platform. The UI hasn't been meaningfully updated in years. Reports not working. Posting not working. Bug after bug after bug. That sucks - but the cost has gotten out of control. Admittedly, we were in a legacy pricing structure that kept it slightly lower than what you would be paying for a new sign up, but we realized we were still paying 4x-5x what other platforms with similar or much better features and UI. So it was time to move on.

Here is where things got really frustrating. They sent our renewal notification while I was on our honeymoon in Vietnam, giving us a 14-day window to opt out of our renewal. 14 days. Unfortunately, the renewal email was received while I was out of the country, and the deadline passed shortly before I returned.

We did not have an opportunity to cancel. I had no internet access. It simply wasn't possible. We had a narrow window that didn't afford us the opportunity to respond.

I sent them an email IMMEDIATELY upon my return and explained the situation and that we did not want to renew. I received canned "Sorry- nothing I can do" responses over and over and over. There was simply no having an adult, rational conversation with them.

They simply prefer to hold their customers hostage. Wow. Quite honestly, I'm shocked at how it was handled. They'd prefer to have an adversarial relationship with their customers than just do the obvious right thing. Wild.

So, to recap, I implore everyone to find another solution. Sprout Social has fallen behind on performance and price and is completely behind on business practices.

There are better platforms out there, and if you discover that too late, Sprout Social is not going to offer you a graceful dismount. It will be painful. They need to do better. And you can do a lot better by working with someone else.

It is no longer benefitting us.

What do you like best about the product?
The Sprout Social tool and Employee Advocacy tool are a great combination to amplify your message to increase brand awareness and easily coordinate your social calendar. The reporting capabilities gives you great insight on engagement and how you are growing your presence across platforms. My implementation manager Jane was great to work with building confidence in the team to get full use of this product suite.
What do you dislike about the product?
Looking forward to future product capabilities for social listening on Linked-In.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout will give us better visibility to our social prescence and make it easier to respond to comments which will increase our engagement.

What do you like best about the product?
From onboarding and training to day-to-day operations Sprout shines with ease of use and keeping you organized. The feature set is exactly what you need without overpaying for what you don't need. Ease of implementation was important in our final decision and converting the trial version to account saved a lot of time. Also their customer support is top notch.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not had any negative experiences with Sprout. Perhaps the mobile version could be a little more robust, but hardly a complaint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining social posts across multiple channels. The calendar feature and campaign tagging helps us to see where we are, and what we have posted. Reporting is also important to us, as well as monitoring competitors.

Effortless Social Media Management with Robust Reporting

What do you like best about the product?
I love the scheduling tool which simplifies managing posts across platforms, saving me from manual posting. The reporting aspect is invaluable, allowing me to assess campaign performance effectively. The tagging feature is another favorite, helping me track individual campaign success and align with our current campaigns. These features greatly enhance my productivity and campaign management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the process of reconnecting accounts on Sprout Social quite tedious and challenging, especially since some accounts are tied to my founder's personal accounts. This requires frequently obtaining credentials from the founder, which can be inconvenient. It would be more practical if the reconnection requirement was extended to every ninety days or even every six months for those of us committed to a year-long contract.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Sprout Social solves post scheduling across platforms, saving me from manual posting, and aids in A/B testing by analyzing report data to optimize campaigns.

What do you like best about the product?
Im a first time sprout user and I like the ease of use of this platform. The customer support is always available for us to ask questions. It's great to have everyone working in one place!
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall it has been a good experience. I believe we are having an issue where messages seem to be delayed in showing up in sprout, but we are currently working with the support in regards to this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout allows us to have all of our social media team in one place!

What do you like best about the product?
It is a visually appealing, easy to use platform. The training with the Sprout team is very helpful and with 15 seats, our team is able to post, report, and understand our social media better.

Would love if we could post to Bluesky from the platform.

What do you like best about the product?
If you're on the hunt for a social media management software, look no further. Sprout is the best of the best. Sprout Social makes it incredibly easy to manage multiple accounts across different platforms, and with their robust reporting capability, analyzing your strategy is easier than ever. The asset library is one of my favorite features, allowing me to store content to use on a 'rainy day' as well as hashtags for your Instagram first comment. The smart inbox organizes all your messages, allowing you to review and prioritize quickly. The smart inbox has gone a long way in helping me remove spam messages, and focus on actual customers. Sprout also makes it very easy to export reports & your content calendars to send to the rest of your team. Sprout is truly worth every penny, and I wouldn't use any other platform for social media management!
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, the only thing I dislike is the fact that you can't have two people logged into the same account at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage accounts for 10 different car dealerships, so Sprouts organizational capabilities go a very long way in helping me schedule, analyze and post content across all the stores. Sprout's reporting also provides much more detail than the native reporting from the platform, allowing me to analyze my strategy in greater detail.
