A Social Media Manager’s Report of Sprout Social
What do you like best about the product?
Hands down my favorite thing about Sprout Social is the ability to schedule posts out on multiple platforms with the recommended times - we have seen a huge increase in our KPIs by utilizing this simple feature!
What do you dislike about the product?
Something that has been slightly frustrating is the changes in reporting. Now, I understand this isn’t due to Sprout Social, but rather the social platform changing its formula and how it measures things, but it has just posed some inconsistencies for our monthly/quarterly/annual reports for various clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout helps find things we can’t when it comes to social listening! We can type in keywords, hashtags, etc. and it is picking up community conversations we would have otherwise missed!
Easy-to-use social dashboard for organic and paid purposes
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to see all posts from all channels in one publisher view, with the ability to boost posts that show higher-than-average organic engagement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initial difficulty of linking Meta ad account for paid boosting (user roles had to be shifted around to allow me to boost posts).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to view multiple social channels for the DR brand at once to easily compare results/engagement across channels. Ability to boost posts easily from the dashboard by referencing the engagement information shown in the publishing view.
Lots of features!
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part about Sprout Social is that you can tag people/business in captions for scheduled posts! Huge deal breaker for those of us who are creating a lot of content in advance that is highly engaging with other accounts. I also like that Sprout Social has several different "profiles" or "users" that lets one person organize and create content for multiple different brands/clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of using Sprout Social is that you cannot schedule Facebook story posts like you can Instagram story posts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social is making managing multiple different brands' social media easy, organized and highly interactive!
A very useful unified social media tool
What do you like best about the product?
How we can access a lot of date from the same platform and the customizations
What do you dislike about the product?
The complexity on the secondary tools provided such us listening
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The analysis of our social media results and the scheduling of our content strategy
Sprout Social is a game changer!
What do you like best about the product?
This makes managing our social so much easier, faster, and helps us not miss a thing and support our customers and followers so much better.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downside on our end. No problems or issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us not miss messages that are otherwise buried in social media comments and put our focus on our customers and fans.
Solid Platform with Smart Tools for Social Pros
What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social has been a reliable tool in our marketing stack for scheduling, reporting, and keeping our content organized across multiple brands. The interface is clean, intuitive, and easy for both seasoned marketers and newer team members to navigate.
The reporting features give us quick insights that help guide strategy, and the shared content calendar is a huge win for collaboration.

What do you dislike about the product?
While some advanced functions (like deeper integrations or custom reporting) could use more flexibility, overall Sprout delivers a polished experience with great customer support.

Sprout Social is a good way to track how we're doing
What do you like best about the product?
I'm relatively new to Sprout Social but am already finding benefit in it. I like that I can track how we're doing very easily with the Profile Performance. I am also finding value in creating content in my drafts folder and then how easy it is to share that folder with others for reviews and changes before the post goes live.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are so many parts to Sprout Social. I feel like I haven't even touched the surface of what this can do. I don't think that's a negative, but for me right now because I haven't had the time to look into all of it, it can feel overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to track our analytics and Sprout Social makes that easy to do. We also have a system where others need to review my content before it is posted, and because we all have access to my drafts folder, that's easy to do.
A great tool
What do you like best about the product?
This is my first experience with a social media management platform and I am overall very happy with its features and the extent of its capabilities. The social listening is powerful and insightful, the reports are informative and provide good visual data, and the post scheduler is my best friend at this point.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think its the best in its class, but I do wish that it was integrated better with apps outside X. Why is X the one that gets the most integration? I would argue that both Instagram and LinkedIn are far more relevant. And the user tagging for LinkedIn and Facebook is extremely buggy. Additionally, you can't tag users in LinkedIn photos. So that is a glaring issue, I think.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides a comprehensive view of our brand health, which is great. It keeps tabs on topics, interactions and engagements that might otherwise slip under my radar with the number of accounts I am managing
Solid, but lacking some basic features
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and helpful for scheduling posts, and it's useful for pulling reports and comparing metrics across platforms and accounts
What do you dislike about the product?
-limited to 3 collab invites for Instagram, instead of 5 when you post directly on IG
-no Bluesky integration
-Threads posts often fail to post for no reason
-can't edit X posts after posting via Sprout
-Sprout metrics for X accounts don't always line up with metrics from X
