Sprout Social is awesome, but has some gaps to be filled!

What do you like best about the product?
I love Sprout for it's ease of use, especially since we use Sprout multiple times a day every day! It is extremely user friendly in terms of it's Smart Inbox and Publishing! We love the tagging feature to monitor customer feedback as well. We also are super thankful we can pull in organic and paid comments to monitor. It was extremely easy to integrate all of our social accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the biggest things that we dislike about Sprout are things that we just cannot afford. Social Listening is extremely important to us and we wish we could access a fraction of it without going over budget. We have met with our customer support rep about pricing and it is a just a bit outrageous for us. Similarly, we hoped we could add more profiles to our account without any extra fee. Including Reddit, which I don't believe is an option now.

We also don't love the reporting tools and find them a bit inaccurate. We end up doing a lot of calculations ourselves because we can't rely on the reporting tools 100%. Otherwise, we are grateful for Sprout and I have been using them throughout my professional career!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout is helping us solve the issue of bandwidth within our team to respond to comments on all of our social profiles.

What do you like best about the product?
The approval process for teams is incredibly user-friendly. Drafting posts is easy, communication within Sprout Social makes in convenient and timely, and I even love that there's the Instagram grid preview for each profile.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything that I would change thus far, and I've been using it for a few years now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For our team, Sprout Social makes scheduling posts and social listening super easy.

What do you like best about the product?
As someone who is new to digital marketing, I’ve found Sprout Social to be an incredibly user-friendly tool. It has made creating and managing social media posts so much easier, and it’s played a big role in my success so far. The platform is intuitive, well-organized, and saves me so much time. I highly recommend Sprout Social to anyone looking for a reliable and effective social media management tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I haven’t found any dislikes about Sprout Social. Everything has been straightforward and helpful, which makes it stand out from other tools I’ve tried.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social is helping me stay organized and consistent with my social media content. Instead of juggling multiple platforms and schedules, I can plan, create, and manage posts all in one place. This has saved me time, reduced stress, and allowed me to focus more on creating quality content that connects with my audience.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to track reporting. One significant aspect of my job is tracking our paid and organic metrics, which has made my job significantly easier by saving me a considerable amount of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the publishing calendar is slow and takes a bit to populate our recent posts onto the calendar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving our past issues of not being able to keep everything organized, and it now benefits the team because we can view all of our social engagement within one platform. Nothing gets lost!

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social is easy to navigate and doesn't have a huge learning curve when we have new people join and have to use the platform. It's also so helpful to see the analytics across channels and compare them with other durations, in one place. I primarily use Sprout for analytics, listening and scheduling simple posts.

I will also say that John, our sales account executive, is easily the best sales person I've worked with for any platform or product. He is a reason we enjoy using Sprout and have continued to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Likely not a Sprout Social problem, but we manage our CEO's LinkedIn page and it sucks to not be able to pull his analytics together with his other channels.

Sprout is sometimes buggy too, where meta descriptions and shared images don't populate correctly. We also can never schedule Instagram stories or Reels without issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us standardize how we pull social media metrics (except for our CEO's LinkedIn page). It also helps us keep track of how we're being view in the press or online or how our CEO is being viewed online. Definitely beneficial to help us shape our branding within the everchanging political climate.

Smart Inbox saves me so much time

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout Social’s Smart Inbox has been a game-changer for me. It pulls everything into one place so I don’t waste time jumping between platforms. I can quickly catch up on what’s happening, respond to the conversations that need my attention, and stay on top of things with ease. It’s efficient, organized, and helps me move on to the next task faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sprout Social is such a robust platform that it takes quite a bit of time to become fully familiar with all of its features and use them to their fullest potential. I also wish there were listening capabilities available for LinkedIn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The need for one unified hub where everything lives. I can listen, monitor, post, and manage engagement all in one place instead of juggling multiple platforms. This centralization saves me valuable time and keeps my workflow streamlined.

What do you like best about the product?
Sprout is incredibly user-friendly. I appreciate that they are constantly making updates based on social updates and user requests. As someone who runs social media for a multi-unit brand, t's very easy to do everything I need to do, from adding new social accounts, to scheduling and reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Of course, there are some features that are native to specific platforms that Sprout can't include. I know that this is more an issue of the platforms themselves allowing third party platforms access, but using a scheduling platform like Sprout can be limiting when there are specific things that need to be done and you can only do them within the social platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, I primarily use Sprout to schedule social posts. The ability to do this easily and in an easily viewable way is crucial to keeping our channels fresh and up-to-date with content.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the calendar features the best. It really helps keep me organized with the ability to leave notes before taking the time to actually create the content. I love the "best time to post" feature for each platform, as well as the approval process for working with a team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could go back further than one year in the post history. Sometimes, especially for holiday posts, I like to revisit what I shared on that day over several years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I primarily use it for social media publishing and analytics review.

What do you like best about the product?
My team and I love using Sprout Social the most for scheduling social media content for dozens of clients across several platforms. In addition to the scheduling features, we love the custom reporting feature. Our team used to create reports manually, and switching to Sprout Social has saved us a TON of time creating reports. Rather than taking hours to create a report for a client meeting, now with Sprout Social, it takes us just a couple minutes. I have also loved the response time of Sprout Social if there are any, though rarely, technical issues, they are super fast to respond and fix the issue. Ultimately, we utilize Sprout Social daily and it has been such a helpful tool. Our team has used Sprout Social for around 2 years and when we were making the transition to Sprout Social, the Sprout team was great to work with and made the process easy, giving us a lot of support.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the main challenges we had with Sprout Social was not having the ability to edit posts by platform without making a whole new post but this has since been updated in Sprout and we LOVE the new feature! Although the reporting feature is amazing, and has saved us endless time, we have noticed some discrepancies in the reporting compared to platform provided statistics. For example, when we look at Meta directly for reporting stats, we get different results than what Sprout pulls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social is saving our team hours and hours of time when it comes to custom reporting. It makes custom reporting super easy and quick to pull and share with our clients within minutes.

Spout Social allows multiple colleagues use the platform to manage, post and report on mulitple accounts.
