Customizable Reports Shine, But Scheduling Needs Improvement

What do you like best about the product?
The reporting tools are easy to use and so customizable. So easy to share.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scheduling doesn’t always work — things get blocked or don’t send for whatever reason. Also sometimes I’ll schedule and then photos post blurry. I wish the program told me if they were too big/small.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting is 100% easier with sprout to create and to share

Effortless Scheduling and Collaboration Made Simple

What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to schedule posts and set approval levels. I like that we can also chat alongside the posts if things need to be changed or edited.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once a post is deployed, I ran into issues when a caption needed to be edited. Facebook needed me to do so in Sprout and Sprout wouldn't let me do it in the app. I had to delete everything and reschedule. Other than that one thing, I've had a pretty easy time using sprout.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to schedule post in each social platform. I love Sprout's scheduling and linking of accounts right in one place. I also use the recommended posting times based on engagement data.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Sprout Social brings all of our social streams together, making it easy to efficiently manage and engage with our audience across multiple platforms. The filtering functionality is incredibly helpful, ensuring that we do not miss any comments, which is critical for maintaining good customer relations. I appreciate the user-friendly and visually appealing interface, which makes navigating the tool a pleasant experience. The ease of the initial setup is particularly commendable, as it allowed us to integrate Sprout Social into our workflow with minimal hassle.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I first click reply on a comment, the text will not automatically receive text I am typing and it throws me to a weird page from hitting what I assume are shortcuts I do not know about. It would be better if, once hitting reply, the text cursor automatically went to where we are typing the response.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout Social integrates all our social streams and makes it easy to filter comments, ensuring nothing is missed while being user-friendly and visually appealing.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the easy scheduling feature on Sprout Social. It's incredibly user-friendly, and when I first started using it, I was able to figure everything out without any training, which was a huge time-saver. I wish Sprout Social allowed the use of trending sounds and music in pre-scheduled posts. This limitation affects my ability to fully engage with audiences on platforms that value current and dynamic content.

What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love how Sprout Social allows me to effectively manage our university's social media with a small team. The ability to schedule posts across multiple platforms at different times is incredibly beneficial, saving me the hassle of accessing each platform individually. I find the platform's one-stop-shop capability invaluable, particularly with its feature that warns me if my media isn't the right size, which helps me ensure that each campaign is perfect. This feature helps keep everything aligned and organized, making my job much easier. Additionally, I appreciate how Sprout Social acts as a godsend by automating tasks we previously had to manage manually, greatly enhancing our efficiency. What do you dislike about the product?
I find it annoying that there are certain features on Sprout Social where I need to use my phone to post. If I don't check my phone or see the notification, I might not know to post. Although this doesn't happen often and isn't a deal breaker, it can disrupt my workflow when it does occur.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Sprout Social to streamline social media management, automate posting across platforms, improve team collaboration, approve posts, and monitor feedback efficiently, despite having a very small team.

I love how Sprout Social helps our team stay organized and keeps everything flowing smoothly. Great Features and Reliability, But Pricing Limits Accessibility

What do you like best about the product?
The features are comprehensive and it's reliable - compared to other social media management platform the interface is smooth, it feels well-built, it doesn't have the jankyness of many of the cheaper solutions. The reporting is comprehensive, and the ability to export stats to excel for further analysis has been excellent. It's simple to use, not much of a learning curve, intuitive and slick.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost. While it's well-built and comprehensive, it isn't suitable for smaller organisations with less money. There are tools that do what Sprout does 80% as well for 20 times less - you will need to ask yourself if that 20% is worth the massive amount of money that they charge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprout allows teams with many social media contributors collaborate well, with full visibility of upcoming posts, ability to monitor all inboxes and ability to do relatively impressive out of the box analytics. Our biggest issue was multiple teams who use different platforms for different purposes. Sprout centralises this thoroughly and easily.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Sprout Social incredibly user-friendly, which is essential for our global social media team as it allows us to manage everything in one centralized location. The platform makes community management tasks efficient, straightforward, and convenient. I especially appreciate the filtering and tagging features, which are invaluable when categorizing inbound messages by product. This functionality ensures we never miss important communication and can quickly access specific messages and posts. The ability to collaborate actively within the platform with my teammates is a significant advantage. Additionally, Sprout's onboarding experience was seamless due to the exceptional support provided by their team, making the initial setup process easy. The decision to switch from a different software was driven by a desire for a more user-friendly solution, and Sprout has delivered on that promise.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that some of the features on the back-end, such as granting permissions for posting, approving content, and replying to inbound messages, are confusing for team members to set up, particularly for a global company with different teams requiring separate group settings. Additionally, the social listening capabilities of Sprout Social were initially less robust than expected, lacking the filtering, longer historical data logs, and diverse dashboard views we desired. Although I'm hopeful for future improvements, these areas currently leave much to be desired.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find that Sprout Social makes community management efficient and convenient, allowing active team collaboration and ensuring no inbound messages are missed. It is user-friendly and centralizes all social media tasks, with great filtering and tagging features for easy access to specific messages.

What do you dislike about the product?
It can take some time to learn all the features of Sprout Social. Once you do, it’s great, but the initial setup and learning curve can feel a little overwhelming.

Sprout Social solves the problem of inefficiency. Before Sprout, managing multiple social accounts across multiple platforms felt overwhelming and time-consuming. Now, everything is streamlined in one dashboard.
